Hello,
Although we normally don't answer questions like this through e-mail, Sonic and
Tails cannot be earned as secret characters in Super Smash Bros. Melee. This
was an April Fools Day joke that appeared in the April edition of Electronic
Gaming Monthly (EGM) magazine.
For future reference, our e-mail group's resources are focused on consumer
service issues, rather than game information. The good news is that we've
devoted an abundance of non-e-mail resources to game play information so players
can find the help they need!
To get the available game play help that we have for Super Smash Bros. Melee,
head to www.smashbros.com for a ton of info. Also, the Super Smash Bros. Melee
Player's Guide, which is available from Nintendo Power magazine, covers this
game from top to bottom! For more information on Nintendo Power magazine and a
