All-anime Cable Network? (03:30 PM EST): It's been talked about in circles for years now, but according to Steven Lin of the Anime Con Mailing List, it's about to happen. While in attendance at the ADV Films 10th anniversary party this past weekend, John Ledford announced that ADV has just made arrangements to have a 24 hour All anime Cable channel. When contacted, ADV's David Williams indicated that a press release will be forthcoming.

We spoke with ADV Films marketing director Ken Wiatrik today to get answers about the Anime Network, and while the company is being pretty tight lipped, we did get a few details.

While previous reports have been that the channel would probably be a pay channel and not basic cable, Wiatrik's feeling were different, "I don't know, but I would hope it would be basic cable. The purpose of this channel will be to expose people to programs and genres that they have not already been exposed to in the past."

What about the programming? Well, ADV's press release merely states "The Anime Network™ model is structured around four categorized content areas: Action Zone, Sci-Fi, Comedy Incorrect, and Horror/Martial Arts. These categories are designed to include virtually the entire spectrum of quality anime, while contextualizing content for new viewers unfamiliar with specific titles."

While Wiatrik wouldn't talk about non-ADV shows he did say that not all ADV shows would appear on the Anime Network, but they are looking at airing the following shows: Gunsmith Cats, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Getter Robo, Gasaraki and RahXephon. In fact, RahXephon will probably air on the Anime Network before it is released on DVD. "We will be premiering programs that have no shown in the past. RahXephon will be hopefully premiered on the Anime Network."

And yes, the above logo is the current official working logo for the Anime Network.

Man that's very nice poem I like it so much and thanks, this is one the greatest gifts people can give me, thank you for the warm greetings I don't know how to express my feelings toward you guys only I can say alot of words... I can hear your heart beatings... I can feel how do you feel...

To tell you the truth it's one of the most warm greetings I've ever had for 5 years on the net, I hang around the internet forums at least for 4 years mostly english forums, they welcomed me but it wasn't that warm just like this forums now I can feel the differnce between you guys and them... You guys accepted me as one of your friends even though I write english words, all I want to say for now... I was wrong when I said I have no family, no parents and no brothers... I have alot of them and they are none other than my internet friends, Thank you brothers, now I feel that I have family... That's coming from the bottom of my heart...

Yeah I agree with Arcard, there are some stupid arab guys please don't get me wrong but there are really some bad ones and sadly they call themselves Muslims... You know why I am saying that!

Well 3 days ago someone added me to his msn I agreed, he said: Hala I replied: Hi, who are you? do you know what he just replied: He said that: "I am your god" then I just deleted him from my contact list, and there is one another named: Saif Al Islam: He said hi and then I said Hi, how are you? he replied: fine then I said: Do I know you before? he said: of course, I'm your god" guys can this ever happen in the arab world or the muslims world, I never thought to hear such a thing coming from the muslims, I admit I talk to some unbelievers and english guys but you know something nobody dared to say that he is god! But once I saw someone said that he is god I said to him, please don't say that while I am here he just apologised and he promised that he will never say that again... without asking I'm sure you like Kusunagi .......I really love the guy the most in 2002.......But I'm angry from the others they think that he's a fool and his voice when talking is like puking ...they piss me off.
the real thing that his voice is so geat you know his tone voice seems like someone angry , crazy and cool at the same time his words are also rocking ..If you want the translations for his words tell me..
here is his best combos i ever created :
1-The kusunagi Makani Moro : do it in close range with the enemy :
jump and hit in air with A then on the ground press C then the cursor on him + B then the old kyo viber move . kusunagi calls it : Yekezay Makani Moro..It means : come on I never lose

2- the kusunagi koraiyegray : the same at number one but change the viber to the super move Kuraiyegray

You know there are characters in kof who are equall in number to me and i can't say who's best : Kyo - Iori - K' - K999 - Kusunagi- Fatal fury team specially terry and andy ........and I love all the kof characters except for heavy D and his gang....You didn't tell me ? don't you think that kusunagi is cool ? Kusunagi the great grand father of the family that appears in kof 2002. I didn't mean Kyo or his father.

Yeah Kusangi is damn cool I like him, there is also someone who appears in KOF 96 comics, the long white haired guy who help Kyo to recover he was cool I think... Anyway you said it there are some equals characters but you know something I don't like joke fighters like Joe, Shingo, Chang and Choi...etc
