Part II : in one of the chapterts max will board the big
machine on the tracks on the dock.instead of strating the
machine jump from it on to the ground(be sure to be on god
mode).now walk along the tracks and jump over the fallen
container and walk till you reach the tracks end. position
max such that his feet are inbetween both the tracks. now
press F12 and type jump10. now max will walk on air.

Part II: here when u reach the crane kill the guyz
around it. activate the crane and kill the new guyz
that arrive on the scene. now climb on top of the
control room of the crane and from there on to the
crane's hook and further to the crates kept there.
when u walk u will find the container open and

Part I: The American Dream
Chapter Two: Live from the Crime Scene
Right at the beginning, there is a hole in the bricks in
the wall. Cheat yourself a grenade and throw it in. Your
mission objectives now say "I had declared a war against
rats". A bit later, after walking through some water and
taking out a few enemies on a train platform, walk up the
wide stairs. In the room at the top are a bunch of rats...
with Desert Eagles! Now shoot at one of the ceiling lamps
that's off. Hit the base of the lamp and it will fall.
The rats will now battle each other. If "your" side wins,
the remaining rats will take up defensive positions around
you. If your side loses, the remaining rats will come after
you.
Chapter Two: Live from the Crime Scene
You can shoot the wailing siren in the central vault area
and Max will thank you.
Chapter Three: Playing it Bogart
If you walk past Rico Muerte's room to the end of the hall,
you can shoot away a boarded-up door. From this room you
can walk across the ledge and shoot away a boarded up window
to find a dead body with a stake in it lying next to the word
"Buff" in blood (as in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), as well
as some other goodies.
Chapter Six: Fear That Gives Men Wings
As you ride the elevator up from Luigi's Laundry, shooting
the speaker playing sappy elevator music will bring another
"Thank you" from Max. Shortly thereafter, as you leave out
the window from the room sporting the thug in the bathroom
and the TV news report, walk to the left and there will be
a window you can jump through to a room with two Soldier of
Fortune 2 posters and a stash of shotguns. If you didn't
destroy the elevator speaker earlier, you should be able to
hear the music from within this room.
Chapter Seven: Police Brutality
When Gognitti reaches the locked door, there is a satellite
dish behind you on the ledge. If you jump from this corner
to the ledge across the alley, you can drop down into the
fenced area and open a door to a room with a nice assortment
of ammo and a poster proclaiming "Dopefish Lives!" Dopefish
is quite possibly the most prolific character in Easter Egg
history.
Chapter Seven: Police Brutality
At the basketball court, there is a Beretta stuck in the
net. Also, if you wait by the fence, an SUV wil drive by.
If you shoot it, it will crash and the driver will get out
to shoot at you.
Chapter Eight: Ragna Rock
When you reach the inner stage area, you can "use" the
drum kit and microphone and step on the guitar for some
interesting effects and dialogue.
Part II: A Cold Day In Hell
Chapter Five: Angel of Death,br> When you reach the grand
piano, you can "use" it and Max will play the title theme.
You can get a different effect by shooting out the lid
support and trying again.
Part IV: A Bit Closer To Heaven
Chapter Four: Backstabbing Bastard
At the entrance ramp to the car park (from where you start),
there is a stack of barrels and an air conditioning unit that
you can jump on to reach the roof of the garage. Shoot the
off-color panel of the shed there and it will fall away.
Inside, you can jump on a grate to fall into a room with
the grafitti "R Thanks", a radio you can "use" to hear audio
from the production team, and a sniper rifle with ammo.
Chapter Five: In the Land of the Blind
In the small room after Woten's office (where you find
the Aesir building plans), there is a small picture that
you can shoot off the wall, revealing a button. Pressing
it will raise the couch on the other side of the room,
revealing a staircase down to a "private area". In it
there is a big screen TV you can use to play a 3DRealms-
themed parody of Star Trek. In the adjoining room there is
a bed with chains next to a closet full of bondage gear.

You can get a pump-action shotgun right in Max's house
at the very beginning. The shotgun is hidden in his house,
on the opposite wall of the phone, in a shutter closet,
much like the one that you see right when you get in the
house near the door. Open the one farther away from the
adjacent room, and you will get a pump-action shotgun
with 5 rounds.

Assign shootdodge under controls in the options menu to
keypad 1. During the game, you can hit this key to slow
the action down any time you want. Repeatedly press it and
it will slow things down even further to the point of pausing
the action. Pressing keypad 7, will speed the action back up.
There is no time limit for how long the action is slowed down.

Just After you have been killed , During the slow
motion view of you dying where you normally push
enter but if you push F12 and type god you will get

the guys, jump ontop of the van at the far end of
the road and then onto the extractor fan box.
From here you can jump onto the fire escape and
make your way up them where you will find a
breakable window leading to a secret room. In
there you will find an imgran and if you look
in the drawers around you will find more ammo
and some pain killers.

To get access to the game console, u need to start
maxpayne.exe with the command line parameter "-developer".
Once u have the game running in developer mode u
get access to the game console with F12.
Secret Area In Max Payne Tutorial:
----------------------------------
In the tutorial stage, jump on the van where you got the
sniper rifle. Then jump to the square thingy on the wall.
From there, jump to the fire escape balcony. Go up 3 floors
and destroy the glass window. Wala. A secret room with a
new gun. I got the hint at the end of the tutorial where
it says: ''Or you can continue exploring the rest of the
environment...''
Additional Options:

Additional option Command Line Options. Max Payne has a
few command line options that can be used in specific
circumstances:
-nodialog: Skips the Max Payne startup dialog when loading
the game.
-skipstartup: Skips the startup animation.
-screenshot: Enables the F10 key for taking screen shots.
Screen shots are saved to "screenshots" folder under your
Max Payne installation folder.
-disable3dpreloads: If the system runs out of texture memory
while loading a level, this option may prevent the game from
crashing due to a driver error.
-window: Runs the game in a windowed mode, in the resolution

do not support running in a windowed mode.

Following instructions carefully please:
First thing to do is "Right Click" your Max Payne
shortcut on your desktop or in your "Start Menu"

Easter Egg Number 1
In Act 3: Level 4 (the garage), there is an Easter Egg
featuring members of Max Payne's production team and some
surprises. After the opening animation ends, take out the
four guys that the car has dropped off. Now, before entering
the garageon the right, face the garage and look just to the
right of the opening. There are 3 barrels (one, and then two
on top of each other), and an A/C unit coming out of the wall.
Jump >from one to another to reach the roof of the garage. You
will now be facing a little shack on the roof, with a door-shaped
section painted slightly lighter than the rest -- shoot this with
any weapon, and it will fall away, leading to a room with a small
grating on the floor. Stand on the grate, and you will fall into a
room with a dead hostage, a sniper rifle and ammo, and a radio that
plays a conversation between members of the production team with a
bit of humor at the end.
Easter Egg Number 2
In the rooftop chase sequence there's a room you can get to that
has a poster of Soldier Of Fortune II and some other useful goodies.
Easter Egg Number 3
In Chapter 3 when you start on the roof of the multi-storey car
park you can jump on the barrels and then onto the roof near the
exit ramp. If you shoot the peculiar looking metal wall you'll
see it collapse. Then go through the opening, drop through a
nearby vent in the floor and you'll end up in a small room.
You'll find a sniper rifle and some ammo and a radio. "Use" the
radio for some laughs.
Easter Egg Number 4
When you walk in on the bank robbery, you can shoot the wailing
siren to stop it. Do this and Max will thank you.
Easter Egg Number 5
When you find the piano on the manor level, if you "use" it Max
will play the title theme. Shoot the lid support out to drop the
lid and then try playing the piano again.
Easter Egg Number 6
When you find the drum kit in the Ragna Rock bar, "use" it to
play some beats. You can also get the guitar on the floor to
squeal and if you "use" the stage microphones Max will say:
"Karaoke was never my thing".

TIP 1:

hi there,i've found out a new tip in the game. in chapter1,
roscoe street, after killing the first guy with the shotgun
(near one of the Coca Cola structures)proceed down until u
kill the other guy with the shotgun. the turn right and
fight the two guys(one with a desert eagle and one with a
dual berreta). kill both of them. now beneath the desk sort
of thing with draws, u will see three gas cylinders.ignite
them. one of the three cylinder goes back and ignites two
others. one of the other two hits the wall perpendicular to
it and the other one hits a door and leaves it half open. go
inside and get a lot of desert eagle ammo.
TIP 2:
------
after u fight the FINITO brothers, go further till u rech the
room 313(where he exclaims "this looks like the room" and where
the shotgun trap is set 4 u). finish ur business in the room.
come out and turn right and then left. on one side, u see a
bathroom and on the other u see a broken door. blast the door
with whatever weapon u have. go inside. then go through the
glass(be careful not to fall!!!). turn right till u approach
a same type door as the previous one. blast this one too and
VOILA!!!!!. u will find a whole lot of goodies(a berreta, two
painkillers, 4 moltovs, berreta ammo etc.) to name a few! ENJOY.

I dunno if other players can apply this cheat.
In skirmish mode, just after you start the game,
built power plant, ore refinery, barracks, and war
factory. STOP building structures. produce 2-4 miners
and min. 3 tanks. maybe you can build a couple (2-3)
pillboxes/sentry gun, but that's enough! figure out
where the heck you are in the map and the possible
attack from enemy. try to defend your base with only
tanks and anti-air units(IFV,rocketeers,flak trooper,
flak track). if you're an allies, build a repair vec.
(IFV+engineer).after each enemy attack, repair your
tanks.use the environment as your defense advantage
(I send 2-3 snipers under the tree,hehe). then, after
you successfully defend your base for several attacks,
build other structures. (oh, I forgot, after you produced
the miners, build radar. explore the map so you can see
where/when the enemy will attack). don't built prism/tesla
tower...waste of money and enerG.air defense structure
are acceptable.Instead, to!
"upgrade" your defense, build 6-8 mirage/apocalypse tanks
and place them in several strategic places to block the
enemy (I really Mirage tanks,very effective defensive units!).
After you have plenty of money(okay,actually 9000 is enough
to start), mass produce your primary assault units(prism tanks,
apocalyse tanks) and build another repair vec.(if you're an
allies) to cover the damage in the middle of attacks. producing
add. anti-air units are also useful here (if you built apocalypse,
you already have air defences!). then, start your attack. on my
experiences 1 good,planned attack can destroy even the brutaliest
(is that right?) enemy. practice this strategy, modified it to
your needs and finally you become the ultimate C&CRA2 strategist
(is that so?).I even tried it with 7 easy enemies,1 brutal and
2 medium enemies, even 2 brutal and 2 normal enemies and only
lose a couple (max. 19 units loss) in a battle.
The key strategies-plan your game, use your units(and special
units)! effectively, and be a "daredevil" in the battle (you
know what I mean...). email me if you have something to share...
protect against nukes - and bad weather:

when playing as allies (against computer) it is
important to build your war factory and barracks
away from the rest of your base. If the enemy launches
the nuke, their first target is your war factory and
then your barracks. You might also want to build a
backup and set the rally points out of the range of
the nukes. If you are playing as soviets, remember
that they can do the same with you wit the lightening
storm.

Block the Bridges
-----------------
To block a broken wooden bridge from being repair by
enemy, all you do is put a dolphin/squid/sub inside
the gap of a broken wooden bridge. This prevents the
enemy from repairing the bridge, and they (most of the
time) will not realise that your unit is preventing them
from doing so. This tactic works brilliantly on some maps.
So, if you block of their land forces you can concentrate
on aerial/naval attack..
Ultimate NUCLEAR Weapon !!
--------------------------
For an extremely potent nuclear weapon. Play as Libya and
build 4-5 demo trucks. Make sure your nuclear missile and
iron curtain are ready and position all the trucks just
outside the base. Use the iron curtain on as many as possible
and then drive them into the base, equally spreading them out
in a circle. THEN set your missile in the middle of the base
and if done right it should set off all the demo trucks for
ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION !!!
Good Base Defence (Urban Maps)

This is a good base defence for those who play in urban map.
Try to build as many GIs/Conscripts and garrison all the
buildings near your base. This will stop your enemy from

Cheap Demo Truck
----------------
For this tactic to work you need to have access to a
Crazy Ivan/Terrorist and an IFV. Put the Crazy Ivan/Terrorist
into the IFV and you got a nice cheap demo truck.
Soviet Tank Tactic
------------------
This tactic is good if you are Soviets. When you start
your game build 2 Refineries and then when you have Power
Plants and Barracks, build a War Factory. After that build
a few Ore Miners, then build about 15 tanks, after that just
attack them, I have won many games like that, it catches them
off gaurd.
Anti-Iron Curtain
-----------------
There are three ways to stop iron curtained units:
1 - Use Yuris or PSI Commandos to take them over
2 - Use Chrono Legionnaires to freeze them
3 - Use the Chronosphere to pick them up and then deposit
them in the water or on cliffs
Spy Attack
----------
This is common sense really - But the easiest way to beat
the computer on brutal is to get a spy into one of their
Refinerys - You will get from 15k to even 80k!! This will
allow you to build a lot of tanks and other units - which
should ensure victory without doubt.
How to Beat Brutals Easily
--------------------------
If you are playing against more than one Brutal enemy you
should first build defenses and then Engineers. If the
enemy is the opposite for example your Soviet and there
Allie than capture the construction yard after the rest
off the base is destroyed by using Prizm Tanks. Re-pack
the MCV and breing it to your base or just build anywhere.
Now you can be Allie and Soviet at the same time.
Useful Cows/Cars
----------------
Take over some cows or cars with a Yuri then control them
go next to you enemys base then make a Crazy Ivan put the
bomb on the cow or car. Walk it up next to your enemy bulding
and BOOM !! Destroying or damaging the building.
Harvester Attack

placed on the map, then click on paradrops icon in the

Now, create a Weather Storm and make sure that you blow
up enough Power Stations to knock out all the bases defense
systems i.e, flak cannons, tesla coils etc. After the storm,
all the flak cannons should be inactivated. Immediately use
your Harrier aircrafts to blow up his Construction Yard
(or any other vital structure) before power is restored.
With all the flak cannons knocked out, your aircrafts will
blow up his Construction Yard and the rest you can easily
figure out. :-)

then use you nuke on the Weather Control Device. Have fun!

all the important stuff especially the Construction
Yard. Then you are free to do what ever you want from
there.
Excellent base defense:

1.Make 10-12 yuris and place them all around your base.
2.put them as team1 (ctrl+1) then when an enemy attacks
use the yurys 2nd attack. this should destroy most of
the attacking force.
Good Use of the V3:
-------------------
If you play as the soviets, one of the best way to use the
V3 Rocket is to have about 3 Rhino tanks for each V3 Rocket
to protect them. If you have about 5 V3 Rockets and 12 - 15
Rhino tanks you can take out a medium base! One of the reasons
is that the V3 Rocket fire very long!
The Magic School Bus (Soviet):

Take a Yuri and mind control a school bus (if they're on the map).
You can put five infantry into the Bus and drive it into an enemy
base, they won't fire on it.
Libyan Cheat:
-------------
Build five or six demolition trucks. Make sure you have a
fully charged Iron Curtain. Send the Trucks into an enemy base,
before they come in range of their weapons, cast the Iron Curtain
on them. They'll be invincible until they reach their target, at
which point they'll still explode even with the Curtain on.
Chrono Legionnaire (1):

Put one Chrono Legionnaire inside an Infantry Fighting
Vehicle (IFV) to make a Chrono Fighting Vehicle.
Chrono Legionnaire (2):
-----------------------
Chrono Legionnaires packed together can zap an enemy building
out of time, try it. Ten Legionnaires and above give the maximum
effect.
Chronosphere Trick:
-------------------
Want to have some fun with the enemy player? Charge up the
Cronosphere and use it on the enemy unit, then drop it in the
water. Watch the war miner go down to the bottom! Bye bye.
Also try it on ships and drop them on land. Killing an entire
infantry group is fun since infantry can die under the effects
of the Chronosphere. Go ahead, try it!
Allied Advantage:

message: In Multiplayer or skirmish mode, use spies to infiltrate
all enemy battle labs. This is to train new units like the physic
commando (he can use the mind control and plant C-4 on buildings).
Later, if you capture the base completely (meaning all buildings)

Build a tesler and then put as many tesler troopers around it as
you can aford.The more you have the larger range and power it has.

Unstopable Attack:
------------------
This hint will make any attack with the ALLIES 100% effective.
(1) Build x amount of dogs.
(2) Build half amount of soldiers (any type except Rocketeers)
(3) Build the same amount of tanks as soldiers. (any type)
Now set 2 dogs to guard a soldier and each soldier to guard a
tank. Send the tanks to attack a base and they will be
completely guarded. If someone attacks a soldier, the dog
will tear him to bits, and if an attack on a tank is made,
soldiers will take care of the problem.
Secret infantry units:
----------------------
If you send spies into your enemy's Barracks, Battle
Lab and War Factory you can unlock secret infantry units
and will be able to build tanks and other units already
promoted with one stripe. For example, in battle with the
Soviets the Yuri Prime, Chrono Ivan, Chrono Commando, Psi
Commando can be unlocked.
Prism Tower creep:
------------------
Use the following trick to overrun any CPU controlled Soviet
base as the Allies. It is especially useful in the second to
last Allies mission, where you are pitted against a heavily
defended base with three nuke silos which must be defeated in
order to claim victory. First, create a very heavily fortified
main northern base. Abandon the far northern mineral field and
sell the ore factory there. The most important things in this
part of the strategy are to create a reasonably well protected
beachhead to the south of this base with Prism Towers and
Patriot Missile Launchers. The second item involves some use
of the Prism Tower creep strategy. First, build a Power Plant
to the outside of your base in the direction of where you want
to defend or attack. Then, build Prism Towers as far as possible
in the direction you want to go. Finally, build another Power
Plant next to the Prism Towers you just built -- thereby
extending your range of building Prism Towers and also increasing
your power supply in the process. Continue doing this and adding
extra Towers where needed to create a solid line of access
between Towers, and amplify the damage. Do this on the bridge
just north of your base and blow it out so the enemy cannot cross.
Fortify the Towers there with all the extra GIs you have around
your base. Now that your northern base is well defended, proceed
to the second step. Create an MCV and Transport Hovercraft and
put the MCV into it. Next, go to the far right of the screen with
the Hovercraft, and then straight down. This is the safest ship
lane on the map. While you are moving south with the Hovercraft,
have a Barracks and a Prism Tower building. Also watch the bridge
by the northern base to make sure nobody has managed to sneak
through your defenses. As soon as you land the Hovercraft on the
far southern island, deploy the MCV and build your Barracks and
Prism Tower. Then quickly build another Prism Tower and a Power
Plant. When you have that base defended well enough, build
another Ore Refinery on the southern island in case the nukes
manage to take out the one on the main island and you are low
on money. Employ the Prism Tower creep method mentioned before
with a little more caution when building in range of Telsa Coils.
You should be able to wipe out their base easily. Make sure that
if they launch nukes, you repair or replace all buildings hit by
them, especially those needed to build Prism Towers, as well as
Powerplants. Another useful thing about having a base on the
right side of the southern island is that this is where most of
the enemy planes fly through. You can build Patriot Missile
Launchers which will slow down or halt most of the enemy
paratrooper activity on the northern island. Most of the time,
the enemy will launch his nukes at either your ship building
capabilities or the middle of your main base. Keep a spare MCV
around in case it is taken out. This is not necessary, but is
a precaution in case they figure out to attack the southern
base via nukes. This strategy will allow you to complete the
mission in near half of par time in easy mode.
Defeating the Allies in a skirmish:

Build one Kuscov airship and send it to the enemy's base,
and bomb it. Bomb the construction site first so they cannot
build, as well as ground to air missile turrets.

Create four or five well-spaced power plants right off
the bat in Skirmish or multiplayer games to bring up
your power bar on the right-hand side of the screen,
and then keep your eye on it.
Be sure to garrison your troops into civilian buildings
for extra cover while fighting the enemy; when the building
starts to break down due to firepower, send in an engineer
to repair it.
Speaking of engineers...not only can they repair broken
bridges or partially destroyed buildings, but they can
also penetrate an enemy base and convert their structures.
Create many "Tanyas" (Allied), or "Crazy Ivans" and "Yuris"
(Soviet) in multiplayer games. They're the most versatile
and skilled infantry units available for their respective sides.
Although it's expensive, build an Ore Purifier to help
squeeze more credits out of your mining expeditions.

The main strategy for GDI varies from map to map but usualy
whipping out a bunch of mamoths is lethal enough to destroy
NOD. Now the problem lies in actually letting the game go
long enough to get to the mammoths. In my opinion, there
are two different types of maps. Ones with defence (obelisk
and AGT) and ones without. If it's a map without, then just
start rushing with 2 engies in a humvee after their power.
That's all you need. If it's one with base defence then whip
out a mrls and try to keep it alive as long as possible. Also
a good idea would be to shoot at structures sticking out where
the obelisk can't hit you. (There are better strategies for
certain maps...however I have yet to remeber the names to
all the maps. As GDI your biggest fear should be NOD
flametanks (and buggies if its withou base defense).
(I'll explain those two in the nod section below.
For nod you mostly want to save up for flametanks.
The flametank is your god in Renegade. It is the alpha
and the omega. 400 hitpoints 400 armor you can stroll
into a base shoot and get massive points and possibly
destroy buildings too. Be aware of many groupings of
tanks. 1 on 1 with a mammoth doesnt matter because you
can take it out and then repair whats left of your flame
tank.
GDI MRLS's:
-----------

Get ahold of 4 or 5 MRLSs early in the game. Since they only
cost 400, they do a lot of damage, and have a very long range,
GDI can take out a Tib Refinery or an Airstrip out in the first
few minutes of the game.
Beacons:
--------

Beacons have seen increased usage in the last couple weeks.
There is always the chance of an enemy soldier sneaking into
the Barracks/Hand Of Nod and placing and end game beacon,
but this tends to be rare. I'd have to say that Nod's most
effective weapon is a "Ghost" (Stealh Black Hand) with a
nuclear Strike Beacon. It is tricky to get in sometimes,
but if you put a beacon inside (or next to) any building
and the enemy does not disarm it, said building goes Bye
Bye. So the Black Hand can set his nuke, disappear, and
guard it from any GDI engineers trying to disarm it. GDI
can have a difficult time using this tactic because they
don't have any stealh soldiers. But a good player can sneak
into a base and plant a beacon in a good location and take
out a building (and maybe some of the poor saps that don't
realize whats happening).
Nod Buggy Rush:
---------------

Since the Nod Buggies are only 300 credits, a
couple guys can buy some and take a passenger
with them. The most effictive combinations would
be 2 Engineers, A Technician and an Engineer, 2
Technicians, or a Technician and someone to cover
them. Since GDI's Advanced Gaurd Tower doesn't
destroy the Buggies extremely fast they can usually
get to a building and drop off their passengers to
make short work of any building.
Under Hotwire:

This is a little strategy I call Under Hotwire.
It requires being on GDI with a hotwire on the UNDER map.
What you do is get in the entrance to Nods base next to nods
power plant. when you get there run in, behind the rock, and
then start jumping. once your in, go the back way into the
Hand of Nod and take it out with C4, or if u have a nuke,
plant it on the pedestal or next to the power plant. Look
at the screenshots below for directions. This strategy works
99% of the time, but sometimes the obelisk does get you.
Endless time in Skirmish mode:

As of right now, in multiplayer, aircraft is impossible
to use...much like the Nod Recon Bike. When moving at top
speeds, the frame rate would need to go so fast that the
current Renegade engine can't keep up with multiple players
using it. This being said, either a major patch would allow
this, or you'll just have to wait for the next "Renegade".
Possibly a Mod could add them, but they'd still run into the
same framerate and power problem.

first to the snipers if u plan to get a good shot at the
comp or opponent you need to hide in a remote area. like
far from the battle in the briefing look at and study the
map move it around a little find a route that suits your
sniping ability. after finding the right route for you
take action it is also good to not stand as much as
possible it give out your location. use your shot wisely
you will see this is a very good hint.

Lie prone in the grass and switch to the third-person view
so you can see around you. This is the best way to lay an
ambush or do recon.
To change weapons in the middle of a multiplayer game, find
your team's armory. From inside, you can change weapons and
equipment on the Command screen.
Unlike other first-person shooters, it can pay to be still.
You're easier to see from a distance while you're moving.
Pay attention to the color of your uniform and your
background. For instance, when you're in the high desert
wearing white camouflage, you'll be harder to see in the
snowy areas.

ok, I got some more hints for the cheatbook database
entry on DF/DF2:
these hints mostly referr to Snipers:
1. When sniping, lie down behind some small "hill" on the
ground, then go to crouch mode and search for targets, get
down again. If you found you target, try to adjust your aim
while lyin, popup to crouch mode again.
Repeat this untill u have a good shot and KILL.
2. In DF/DF2 the voxel3 engine is used, which means that
sometimes you can see others THROUGH rims of hills.
Dont waste your ammo on them. Try one sure shot, and if
you see that you would have hit, but only some mud splatters,
wait until your target moves to have another sure shot.
Multiplayer: Try not to lie down or hide behind rims of
hills that are goin steep down, thats where you can be seen
easily, so they will wait til you popup and kill you.
3. Multiplayer: NEVER take extra ammo as secondary weapon,
almost nobody lives long enough to fire all his shots.
Rather take the claymore mines to secure your sniping
psition or strategical important points (flags in CTF, entries
to huts etc.) or the LAW (to kill snipers lyin in small carvings,
behind a fence or in a watchtower).
4. Multiplayer: Swimming is a rather secure way for getting
where you want to w/o being seen, but watch out for other
swimmer's knifes (swim only with knife ready) and go to prone
before leaving the water.
5. It is always better to have a weapon with longer range than

Multi-player tips:

You can drop through some roofs by laying down, then
holding [Left] + [End].
Go under a dock, then lay down and go towards the shore.
You can go though the docks this way if you stop in the
middle of the dock when you are going through. You can
shoot others, but they cannot shoot you.
To get in boats when there is no dock, go the side net
and stick your head out of the water. Then press [End]
three or four times and you can climb in. If you can see
the underside of a building, you can go though it insteadd
of using a door.
If a delay grenade hits a man in the head while underwater,
it will kills immediately when it hits and not a few seconds
later.
When you drop a satchel charge in the water, it does not
have a drop time. It will go straight to the ground when dropped.
Satchel charges go though roofs when underwater.
You can swim thought most roofs that are underwater.
