Enix representatives have confirmed that the long awaited PlayStation 2 RPG Star Ocean 3 will be released in February 2003 for 7,800 yen. Originally scheduled for release last summer, the game has been delayed several times due to quality control issues. As previously reported, Star Ocean 3 will be set 400 years after its predecessor and will focus on a female protagonist named Sophia. As the first 3D chapter in the series, players will be able to attack enemies from virtually all angles and have complete control over camera angles. Moreover, the game will boast a handful of sub-quests through a new 'private-action' mission system.
