في تقرير من منطقة سيتا كاندو على الطريق بين مدينتي خوست وجارديز هاجم المجاهدون قافلة امريكية وذلك بواسطة الصواريخ وقد دمر في هذاالهجوم عربتين امريكيتين تدميرا كاملا كما قتل في هذا الكمين اربعة عشر عجلا امريكيا وقد ترك المجاهدون الموقع فورا بدون اصابات . يعد هذا الهجوم احد ثلاثة هجومات ناجحة على الكومندوس الامريكي في المنطقة . وقد قام الامريكان بالتفتيش في كل مناطق خوست ولم يتم اعتقال احد . كما قام المجاهدون بمهاجمة بيت الحاكم في خوست بالصواريخ والاسلحة الاوتوماتكية كما قاموا بقصف مطار خوست ولم ترد حتى الان معلومات عن الخسائر التي مني بها العدو .

In reports from the area near Sitay Kando on the main road between Khost and Gardez City, an American military patrol was attacked by Mujahideen with rocket launchers. Two American vehicles were completely destroyed, killing 14 soldiers that were passengers. The assailants managed to escape without incident. This is the third successful operation by Mujahideen against the American commandos in the area. As the result, search operations are currently underway in several areas of Khost. In the process, in Dayror Village- Parangi tribe was searched but no arrest was made.
At the same time, Governor House in Khost was attacked with rockets and automatic weapons and four missiles hit the Khost airport. There were no reports of casualties.
