INTRODUCTION:

Hi there... How are you doing guys!!? Hope you are fine... Well this time I am gonna write a simple review about the king of violent anime. Loaded with exploding heads and severed limbs, One of the best of all time. Blood everywhere, destructions, kill, sacrifice you can find it all in Fist Of The North Star... Every anime lover should at least heard about this anime and I guess we already heard alot about this anime, 2 series along with some movie... We first knew about this is in 1983 by a manga by Tetsou Hara the great artist and the author of this legendary anime... Well in this review I will talk mainly about the movie because I only saw the movie and some few episodes of the series so I can't say anything about the old series, but here I've got some informations about the old series from some cool Fist Of The North Star webpages, which means I didn't write it so keep this in mind so thanks refers to the real author... I would like to remind the people that this anime is a fighting, violence, super powers anime and may contain some violent scenes, also maybe there are some naked scenes so keep this in mind, I just wanted to warn for anyone who cares about this... Well before I start I really wish to thanks some guys that helped me to create this thread, first are the webmasters of Fist Of The North Star's webpages, I really took alot of informations about the anime and the characters, knew more about the anime generally so thanks refers to the them... I also should thank the webmaster of the www.bestanime.com web page because the screen shots are from there so I suggest you to go there for pics or anything like this, you will find it there... I also would like to thank my good friend Dark Setsuna for helping me to get informations about the anime, thanks alot man, I really appreciate it... Well before I talk more I guess it's better to get going...

THE STORY:
The story of this anime is great, it's mainly about fighting between the students of some great chinese martial arts... Just like many others said: "SO MANY BLOOD" I liked it when I saw the movie from the first time! I know that the story is pretty simple but it's ok for a fighting anime like that and I think it's not a big problem for me... its probably a really good idea not to try and add any deep philosophical meaning to the story as the others said (After all it's a fighting and violence anime) But yet I am sure there are some who like the story and I think it's pretty good... Well the story is about the earth has been devestated by some nuclar weapons and explosions so the weak die and the mighty rules... A guy named Kenshiro, the inheritor of the most popular and deadly chinese martial art which names "Hokuto Shinken" should take some actions to stop the evils to do what they desire... So the greedy of his brothers caused alot of bloody battles between them so just they became the Fist Of The North Star and so on the story developes... Well many said that the story is pretty simple, yup it's pretty simple to describe it but as many said, the best thing for understanding is to watch by yourself and don't care much about what the others says...


THE CHARACTERS:
As for the characters, Well there are alot of cool characters in this anime, they have so many of my favorite anime characters... I really liked the design of the characters, it's really very good especially for early 80's, maybe it's not your type, but I like their boots, jackets, and these feathers...etc it's just damn cool... There are so many cool characters such as Raoh as he nick name himself "The king of the world" also Rei, I like them alot because they are really cool because of the great amounts of violence that they do, not only that but Raoh wasn't defeated by the main character just like any other anime villain and that what makes him special. Ken is of course really cool, he is damn good for a main character, it's kinda to see that the main character kill without caring, explodings heads, wow man that's pretty cool... Also the characters voices are one of the best things in the anime especially the japanese version, I like Kenshiro's voice "WOOOHOOO ATATATATATATATA WAAACKKAAAAAA" :D also we have Rei's voice the actor is damn popular we heard Rei's voice in many other popular animes such as DBZ, Ranma...etc also then we have Raoh, the damned one, his voice in Japanese version is far better than the english ones but yet I like both, there are many other cool characters who only appears in the manga or the games such as Souther, the king of the south star, he was very cool he have the voice of the great Gundam villain, Giren Zabi!! I like him when he says this to Kenshiro: "MUDADAAA SHINE KENSHIRO" or when he laugh, wow man he is damn good, As for the characters style then it's a different story, Kenshiro's style is damn good, I like him when he defeat his opponent then he says: "You are already DEAD" it's cool, also we have another one, Rei, his style is damn good, many tried to copy this character but as we know the copy is copy and original is original :D then we have Raoh, Jagi, Shin...etc Well let me stop here because if I continue I really wouldn't know when I am going to stop but all I have to say that the series have alot and I mean alot of cool and great characters, I am sure you will like it..


THE ANIMATIONS:
Well, Well, Well... I know that already that the art isn't that good but you can't blame it since it's very old anime but yet as for me I like it, it's not bad and suites a violence anime like Fist Of The North Star, the animations isn't as bright as should be, so many people said it was nothing, well I am maybe one of them maybe because there is no much animations like the new ones but yet it's not everything, the art is enough because as you know guys I like some of the old artworks such as this one or Saint Seiya or Lady Oscar or Ashita No Joe...etc so this is not really a big problem, at least it's better than some of the others around, of course the new animes have better and cooler animations, I admit that but for the anime which was released in early 80's I think we should accept it...


THE MUSICS:
One of the best things I like in this anime are the amazing musics... There are alot of great themes in the series, some of you might not like it but I like musics like that and it deserve the full credits no joke about it... There are some sad musics, some fast and rocking musics so I say this have it all... I like the music (Heart Of Madness) it's when Raoh fight against Rei and Kenshiro walks in the movie, man that was one of my favorite music of all time, also we have "You wa SHUCK" that was another cool music and I am sure you like it (Actually it's the opening) also there you have Though boy...etc the series have alot of great themes but the ones I like is the sad background themes, I don't need to say it again because you all know that I like the sad musics alot and I mean "ALOT" well there are alot of people who agree with me and to be honest I still didn't find anyone who said that the musics sucks, really nobody... Maybe there are some but I suggest everybody not to miss Fist Of The North Star cool musics...


OVERALL:
Before I say anything else if you are anime fan then you should see this one even if it's classic, nobody should miss it, it's one of the coolest anime I like it so much and give it all the supports and credits because it deserve it... Well this anime is one of the most popular animes in the world, it's good almost at everything... As for the story I think the story is very good, I remember when I first saw I really enjoyed watching almost every moment and I am not saying this because I just like it but because the story forced me to see more and more... As for the characters, well I really think it's very hard to see a cool character just like Kenshiro as the main character, yeah I know there are some just like Jotaro, D, Kyo...etc but Kenshiro is one of them too, anyway Kenshiro is not alone here in this anime I mean there are alot of characters which are as cool as Kenshiro or maybe even more and I already like some of them more than Kenshiro... As for the art and animations I think I can't say anything but everybody can understand after watching some of the pics, well the art style is nice but the animation is not good as the new ones... As for the musics I think it's really one of the few animes that have these numbers of cool musics, I don't know what to say but there are alot of enjoyable and touching musics, I am sure you will like at least one of them... Well generally I really enjoyed watching this anime and it was intresting, I suggest everybody to watch this great piece of work even if you don't like the fight you may going to like it... But it's up to you, I don't have the right to force you... Well that's what I wanted to say about this great anime...

THE HISTORY:

Fist of the North Star, in Japanese "Hokuto No Ken" (The Fist of Hokuto: wrong the translation "Ken of Hokuto" which is based on the kanji omophony between the word that stands for the name of the person and the other that stands for the strenght), known in USA as "Fist of the North Star", in China as "Beidou Shen Quan", in France as "Ken le survivant" (Ken the survivor) and in Italy as "Ken il Guerriero" (Ken the Warrior).
"North Star" is not a correct translation of "Hokuto", which is more excacly the name of the constellation of Ursa Major, (Big Dipper, or Great Bear), or more litteraly "North Dipper", and that's why Kenshiro has seven scars on his chest in the shape of the Great Bear, not only one (that is the Polaris). And Ken means "Fist", but it's also the name of the character of the manga's pilot. So if the American translation looses very much from the original, the Italian and French ones are all revised with fantasy.

It was published in April 1983 as a one-shot adventure in an extra issue of the celebre Japanese comic magazine, "Shonen Jump". The author and original drawer, Tetsuo Hara, tells of a Kasumi Kenshiro, the yung successor of the Chinese combat technique of Hokuto Shin Ken, that fought the evil scums Taisan-ryu of the 80'Japan. The came the sequel, "Hokuto No Ken 2", and when the scenarist Buronson (or Buron Son) (pseudonym) was added, the setting was changed into a century's end Mad Max nuclear devastated, and then were added the seven scars to the now adult Kenshiro.

Then the story was developed with success in two long series of manga (30 original paperbacks) and in two anime series by Toi Doga, aired in Japan from 1984 to 1988, as well as a number of toys (none of which is available in Italy).

The anime series is very close to the manga, except for the introduction of further one-shot episode, some changement in the order of episodes and for the fact the second series stopped after the defeat of the final opponent, while the manga went on(also, some aspect were less cruel in the animation, for example no children are killed).

There is also an anime movie for cinema made in 1986 (Legend of the Century's End Savior) and a recent live action movie shooted in Hong Kong (Fist of the North Star) having Gary Daniels as protagonist. There is also an apocryphal THIRD SERIES of manga written in Hong Kong. For information about the 7 blasphemies of Hokuto No Ken (how it exists only one Hokuto No Ken and how it is so easy to ruin it)

Fist of the North Star can be defined as an approximately post-holocaust story about unprobable high-style martial arts with a massive use of splatter scenes.



The setting
The spot is setted some improbable ninety-years. As the beginning of the manga and the opening of each episode of the 1st series says :

"We're at the end of the 20th century, the whole world has been devasted by atomic explosions. On the surface, all seas have disappeared and plains looks like barren moors. It seems all animal species have extinguished... except one."


(A little different in Japanese and in Italian)

For the scenary the authors admitted they have been inspired by the series of movies of "Mad Max" (That with Mel Gibson in the desert). After the nuclear olocaust, the destruction of modern technology (I can't still understand where they get fuel for the motocycles) brought about a rise of ancient fighting techniques, namely the Hokuto Shin Ken style, that of the series' hero Kenshiro.

Hordes of evil dudes pillage the villages, killing even children and women without any mercy, money isn't yet worth, the only law is that of SURVIVING, strongs kill the weaks.

Men seems to be divided into three categories, the "normals", who suffer the plunderings and violences from others, men with bestial shape (I think mutant after the atomic explosions), and a third kind of men is made up of the first group, that after a hard training of a martial art become very strong. These last ones can be "good" or "evil". The most of the men of the second group is gathered in armies (like the Zeed Band) for the better loote of the villages made up only by the persons of the firs group.

The main character, Kenshiro is last descendant of the 2 thousand years-old martial arts school Hokuto Shinken (the divine school of Hokuto) and has been choosed as the most skilled among the four children the previous master of the art, Ryuken, has adopted and trained to have an heir. Truthfully speaking, at the beginning of the first series (TV series) it is said that Ryuken trained both Ken and Shin, the first to the art of the North Star (here's the name "Fist of the North Star") and the second to the art of the South Star (the Nanto Star). Then, I think to widen the story after the success of the first season, Ken's brothers were created, and as well the conflict with the Nanto School. Then came the Gento and Jenmi School.

Btw the owners of this technique are able to use the 100% of their brain (the others only 30%) and to convert the full force of themselves during fighting and they can use the ability of pressing Tsubos (pressure points on the body) to paralize or completely destroy their opponents' body. Particulary the Hokuto Shin Ken is the School of Implosion. The Nanto Sei Ken cuts the chalanger into "slides".

THE STORY:
============


In the near future, a nuclear holocaust destroys all but a handful of humanity. In the harsh, apocalyptic wasteland that remains, only strength is important. War rages and the strong prey upon the weak. Enter Kenshiro, the Fist of the North Star. He and his girlfriend Julia are traveling across the wasteland when they are attacked by Ken's old friend Shin. Ken is nearly killed leaving him with seven wounds, and Julia is kidnapped. Ken spends the rest of the film trying to get Julia back from first Shin, and then his insanely powerful brother Raoh,..


MARTIAL ART STYLES
"In the heavens there exist two pole stars: namely, Hokuto and Nanto
As in all things, two opposites are one; man and woman, yin and yang, the Diva Kings A and Un And also the lethal arts of Hokuto Shinken and Nanto Seiken!!"



HOKUTO SHINKEN
Originated in China 2000 years ago. Due to its extreme lethality, it is only taught from father to son. Only one son can inherit the full knowledge; in a dispute over succession, the losers must have their "fists sealed" (removal of memories, or destruction of their hands). Hokuto Shinken provides its practitioners with many abilities, most notable is a knowledge of pressure points. Striking the correct points can cause such effects as paralysis, blindness, and total bodily destruction. In addition, a normal human can only use 30% of his natural abilities; training in Hokuto Shinken can give access to ones full abilities. The inner secret of the art is an ability to learn the techniques of an opponent after a single battle.



NANTO SEIKEN
in contrast, had 108 different schools. In ancient times, an emperor owned a castle with six gates. At each gate, a martial arts master was appoint-ed commander of the guard. From their training, the six primary styles of Nanto were developed. Nanto styles specialize in slic-ing and piercing attacks, and have an associated avian totem.


ASTROLOGICAL DATA
The symbol of Hokuto Shinken is a portion of the constellation Ursa Major, the seven stars known as the "Big Dipper". This con-stellation is of extreme importance to Chinese astrologers, as its tail points to the current position in the lunar zodiac. In Hokuto no Ken, these stars are considered unlucky, causing death and misfortune. For this reason, the lives of Hokuto practition-ers are filled with tragedy and conflict.

Next to the main constellation is a smaller star named Shichousei (Death-omen Star); it is said that those who are able to see this star are destined to die within one year.

The symbol of Nanto Seiken is a portion of the Sagittarius con-stellation. These six stars form the constellation Nanto (South-ern Ladle), one of the 28 Lunar Mansions of Chinese Astrology. The Nanto school has six major styles, each corresponding a star in the constellation. This astrological connection influences the destinies of the Nanto masters.

THE CHARACTERS:

KENSHIRO
He is the last descendant of the 2000 years old Martial Arts School Hokuto Shinken and has been choosen as the most skilled among the four children whom the previous master of the art, Ryuken, has adopted and trained to have an heir.



JULIA (YURIA)
Julia, born of Nanto bloodline, was the fiance of Kenshiro. While many men loved her, she only loved Ken. Convinced by Jagi to steal her away, Shin beat Ken and took Julia, treating her like a queen. Giving her jewels, fine silk, and even a town, Yuria would not waver in her love for Ken. Feeling dispaired, she leaped from the top of her tower, intending to end her life without Ken. Shin rushed below to her body, only to find three of the Nanto Go Sha sei, t he protectors of the Nanto bloodline. Telling Shin that Raoh was on his way to Southern Cross to capture Julia and destroy the town, Shin agreed to let the world believe Julia had died. Years later, Ken and Raoh both found out that Julia lived, and Rushed to meet her. After a bad turn of events, Raoh reached her first, and took her to his kingdom. In the final bout between Ken and Raoh, it was revealed that Julia was dying of radiation poisoning. Giving up his life force to prolong hers, Raoh died. Ken and Yuria lived many happy months in a peaceful village, until she died in his arms. Julia had no particular style, but possesed healing powers.



REI
Rei is the master of Nanto Suichou Seiken ("Southern Cross" Waterfowl Style), one of the six main warriors of Nanto. His star is Gisei, the Star of Righteousness. His fate is to live and fight for the sake of others. We meet him in the second part of the 1st series in the anime, in the manga immediately after the defeat of Jakkar and Devil. He's researching a man with seven scars in his waist because he was told this person had killed his family and abducted his sister, Aili. After that, he became a ruthless mercenary until he meets Kenshiro, Bart, Lynn and Mamiya at Mamiya's village and helps Ken in defeating The Fang clan whom is besieging the villagers. After finding out Ken wasn't the abductor of Aily, he became his closest friend and follow him in his fight against the guardians of Cassandra prison. Then, he fights Raoul and gets from him a lethal pressure in his Tsubos that give him only 3 further days of life. He falled in love for Mamiya and before dying, he kills her persecutor, Juda. He's one of the most dramatic characters in the 1st series and also make his appearience in the anime movie. As in Kenshiro's flashbacks "Rei, the first man I could call as a friend".
Rei's style was "Nanto sui cho ken" (South waterfowl fist).



JAGI
The third brother, Jagi is petty bully who never truly mastered the art of Hokuto Shinken. He is insanely jealous of Ken because he has never accepted the fact his younger brother was choosen as the master of the art. He impersonates him in order to destroy his reputation, even simulating seven scars in his own waist and forcing people to call him Kenshiro. He was the one whom istigated Shin to abduct Julia from Kenshiro and also abducted Rei's sisters, Aili and killed his family. He also uses weapons, like rifles, needles and explosives, along with a lot of unfairly tricks, and mastered some technique of Nanto Seiken , too. Like Amiba and Wiggler he became one of Raoul's servants. He didn't last too much against Kenshiro.



SHIN
Shin is Nanto seiken school master. His technique is called Nanto Konyouken ("Southern Cross" Lone Eagle Style). His star is Junsei, the Martyr's star. His fate is to live and die for love. He appears only at the beginning of the story, when, being istigated by Jagi he abducts Julia from Kenshiro, and markes in his chest seven wounds delineating the scheme of the constellation of the Great Dipper (or Ursa Major, this is the symbol of Hokuto) He gets killed by Kenshiro.



RAOH
Raoh is the oldest of Ken's brothers, and he very proud and a ruthless conqueror, better known with the title of "Ken'ou" (King Of Fist). He has sworn to kill Kenshiro so that he can become the supreme owner of Hokuto. Diuring the last battle he'll leave to his brother (Kenshiro) in heredity the title of "Ruler of the world".



TOKI
The second brother, Toki is a gentle master of the healing arts, who is dying of radiation sickness. Despite his illness, he is still an amazingly skillful warrior.



BAT AND LYNN
Two children who follow Kenshiro throughout his adventures. Bat is an expert thief and mechanic. Lynn is a young child, who pos-sess some empathic powers; at times, Ken is able to sense when she is in danger.



MAMIYA
A woman who bears an uncanny resemblance to Yuria. On her twenty-first birthday, she was abducted by Yuda. After the har-rowing experience, she abandoned femininity, took up weapons, and became the protector of her village. At first, she falls in love with Ken, but later realizes that it is Rei who loves her.



AILI
Rei's sister. She was abducted by Jagi and sold into slavery. After witnessing so much horror, she felt there was nothing worth seeing, and blinded herself. Since then, she has become passive and apathetic, uninterested in the world around her.



AMOEBA
Originally a student of the Nanto Seiken School, Amoeba is expert at imitating the appearance and martial arts techniques of oth-ers. He considers himself a genius, capable of doing anything. He has adopted the identity of Toki, ruining his reputation and performing horrible research into the secrets of pressure point techniques.



YUDA
Master of Nanto Koukakuken ("Southern Cross" Red Crane Style). Yuda is vain and treacherous; he considers himself to be the strongest and most handsome of all men.

FIST OF THE NORTH STAR 1:
===========================


The TV series was made by Toei Doga from 1984 to 1988. The storyline follows the manga pretty closely, but they often add substandard filler material to keep the anime from getting ahead of its manga counterpart. This is common amongst manga-based anime, like Dragonball for example. Where story differences occur between the manga and anime, this page will follow the manga. I will talk about some of the differences in the anime for those that are interested. The first season was probably the most changed from the manga and therefore the worst. This first season covers from the first issue of the manga with Zeed to the destruction of Devil Rebirth and Jackal, although the order of events was drastically changed so that it would end with Kenshiro's fight with Shin to win back Yuria.
I assume this was probably very annoying for the viewing audience at that time. Because of this, everyone in this season ends up working for Shin.

Most notable are the additions of Bat's super Buggy and Rin's dog, which stick around through most of the first series.

The show starts out with Ken defeating Zeed and Spade, Diamond, Club, and Heart, who are reduced in rank to Jacks for the anime. Rin is captured by Shin's men and rescued by Ken. Ken fights the GOLAN Red Berets from the manga, but instead of being deluded fighting machines they are worshippers of Shin. Lame.

A new character is introduced named Joker that somehow manages to get Ken into lots of trouble. He is the one that leads Jackal to Devil Rebirth. Jackal never kills Bat's adoptive brother Taki, but he does kill their "mother" Toyo. And Ken just leaves the kids to live in the desert with Taki as their leader. Ken fights a number of new bad guys, all of which are pretty lame. There is a revolt amongst the warriors of Southern Cross because they feel Shin is weak. Ken and Shin finally have their belated battle, the outcome of which was known to the manga readers months earlier, but oh well.

The appearance of Rei is when the anime really gets going the right way. There are less superfluous characters and situations. An all out assault by the Kiba Ichizoku is added to the beginning of the second part. There is more stuff added with the Kiba raiding vehicles and their dealings with Rei are shown.

Later there are animal-men created by Ameoba that Ken fights. Rin runs off in the desert after Ken like an idiot. When Ken goes off to free Toki from Cassandra, Uigul is shown taking secret scrolls from martial artists instead of Raoh. Then Uigul blackmails a rare female martial artist into fighting Ken because, "Kenshiro can't kill a woman". I don't know where they got that idea because the only woman he ever fought with was another lame anime character from the first season, and Ken had no problem killing her. She doesn't kill Ken and is killed for her lenience. (Good riddance.)

When Ken & co. hook up with Raiga and Fuuga at Cassandra, the Nishin Fuurai Ken successors are forced to fight their own Fuurai master, Soujin, a follower of Raoh. Raiga and Fuuga defeat him, but are killed by some funky samurai guy.

When Rei eventually fights Raoh it is shown in real time and not relayed to Ken in a flashback.

Children are often not killed like their manga counterparts, like Taki, the kid in Shuu's resistance that eats poisoned food is healed by Ken. I guess the anime Ken is better than the manga Ken with pressure points, but worse at fighting because of the beating he takes from sub-par villains.

Ryuuga makes a stop at Yuria's grave at his first appearance, even though she hasn't really died. Maybe Shin had a fake grave made? That makes some sense.

Ken's second battle with Raoh is strung out some like the "Shin" season. Some events are rearranged, and the revelation of the Last Warrior of the Six Holy Nanto Fists as Yuria is no surprise once you hear her voice. Many minions of Raoh were added, but I liked these much better than Shin's. Amongst them were fighting priests grudgingly fighting Kenshiro and a Taisan Ninja wanting Ken to be his 10,000th kill.

FIST OF THE NORTH STAR 2:
===========================


The beginning of HNK2 is completely rearranged. Jakou appears in the first episode and Ken doesn't show up until the second. When he does he is shown with that crazy beard he had in the anime movie. There are two Grim Reaper guys that have set up a fake Kenshiro grave that Ken destroys. Two additional Gento warriors are added, Taiga and Baltz, one of whom runs off with Rin to the Land of the Shura.

The story ends after the death of Kaioh

MANGA STORY:

Ken wanders through the devastated wasteland that was once Japan and sets wrongs right. During his journey he meets a boy named Bat that becomes his sidekick, along with the young girl Rin, who has a crush on Ken, along with a funky empathic power. Ken meets friend and foe alike in the other martial artists he meets. Jagi, Toki, and Raoh of his own Hokuto Shin Ken style; Shin, Rei, and his fiance Yuria of the Nanto Sei Ken (South Dipper Holy Fist) style. Later on he meets the Gento Kou Ken, the guardians of the Tentei Emperor, and discovers the rogue Hokuto Ryuu Ken in his homeland of Shura.

Tetsuo Hara was born on the 2nd September of 1961 in Tokyo and became famous because of his ideas and technique in creating manga's. He started working in a magazine (stamped by a photocopy machine) called “Tenshin ranman” created with a group of friends at the high school. Here he published a short detective style manga titled “Gendai no jinsei” (Life of a contemporary) which in different point seems to be taken from the ideas of the great Katsuhiro Otomo. His real passion for the comics started during the 8th grade, after having read a manga of Jiro Tsunoda, Sono takun (The other one). In that same year he got up the courage and sent to Takao Yaguchi (know because of “Sampei the fisherman”) his work, who answered saying that his drawing was not yet mature and that he had to practice more. During the November of 1981 Hara decided to send to the “Shueisha” the manga “Gendai no jinsei” that had already been published in the magazine “Tenshin ranman”. The manga finished in the hands of Buichi Terasawa (Arthur of Cobra) who liked it, and found him a job as a assistant with Yoshihiro Takahashi. From 1981 to 1983 Tetsuo Hara decided to leave his job as a assistant to début (come out) at the 33rd “Fresh Jump”, a competition of the “Shueisha” for new talents, with “Super Challenger, a comic dedicated to the world of boxing. Thanks to that, many comic editors of the Shueisha got interested in him and let him, at the end, create his own manga. So, for that, in the August of 1982 he published his first real comic titled “Mad Fighter”, inspired by his favorite hero, “Mad Max”. Mad Fighter could be considered the predecessor of “Hokuto no Ken”, because the main character is a motor-cyclist who has special powers, a bit like the ones of Hokuto. But the success didn't come, and after only ten weeks he had to stop. His next work was a introductory episode of “Hokuto no Ken”, which narrated the adolescence of the main character before the 3rd world war. It was published on a special number of “Shonen Jump” in the April of 1983 edition and it was liked so much that the Shueisha decided to give him as a partner Bronson as scenario-writer.

Hara has done some other stuff after Hokuto no Ken such as a feudal war comic and some videogames art (Saturday Night Slam Masters). But I don't know a great deal about it...

بالنسبة (Hokuto No Ken) فأنا أعتبره ممكن أفضل مسلسل أنيمي (Action) لـاــ(Martial Arts) خصوصاً بأن المؤلف كان متأثر فعلاً بظاهرة أفلام الـــ(Mad Max) لكن بالنسبة للــــ(Live Action) أخ DLD سمعت أن مخرجه أحتمال يكون (Tsui Hark) ما أدري اذا عندك خبر عن الموضوع أو لا؟
أما أفضل أغنية فأنا أييد رائيك أخي (Heart of Madness) فعلاً من الاغاني التي كانت تعجبني في المسلسل وأيضاً أغنية (You Wa Shock).

Hehe, I like this series too much, well I didn't knew that about the director... Anyway You Wa Shouck is a cool music too, anyway I don't know if you have it or not! But have you ever played Fist of The North Star game for PSX, it's a very cool game, I mean the new one... It's very cool to kick your enemies butt and hearing the japanese full cast voices, ATATATATATATAATAAAAA :D

Heh you played that game!? That's cool, never expected to see another one who played the game... As you just said my dear friend, the opening is damn cool, I like it... Also Raoh in the game was very cool... You know Raoh, right!? (The big brother of Kenshiro and the boss in the movie) he is my favorite all the time... Is Raoh and Kaioh are the same person or no!? Well as I know the voice actor was the same but I really don't know if they are the same or not... They sometimes calls for Kaioh, Kaiou... والله موضوع اكثر من رائع عزيزي DLD وانا من اشد المعجبين بهذا الانمي الرائع وكنت سابقا اشاهده على قناة المانجاس الفرنسيه ولم افهم شي من القصه كثيرا لاكن عندما قامت شركة مانجا الامريكيه بطرح المسلسل على VHS شاهدت القليل منه مدبلج لكن للاسف كانة الدبلجه سيئه نوعا ما لاكن الان تم اصداره على DVD:6 اكيد اني شريته;) وفعلاً مافي زي الاصوات اليابانيه خاصه صوت كنشيروا وت وت وت وت وت وتا:D

Fist of the north star is the first anime film i have seen...and still No.1 in my fave anime list and as u said the voice of Kenshirow was marvelous... especial with the hundred-crack fist move with the special effect sounds!!! cool!!! so far

Thanks man for defending me but don't care about this stuff... I mean even if it's a copy and pasting but you know it's not an easy task to find around the internet searching for this and that, finding stories, pictures, wallpapers, about the games...etc It's not an easy tusk as you might think, also if it's that easy why don't you make one my dear brother and sorry for anybothering and say whatever you like but I am not saying I am that damn good, as I said before I am just trying to help the people by saving their time for searching about informations and the other stuff and hope you understand what I mean ;)

Well first of all thanks for your reply my dear brother and I really appreciate it... I have to agree with you about the anime you just said the right thing...

About The Arabic language, well man I am really very sorry, I can't write Arabic very well... I know you guys might laugh on me or maybe anything else but I am half Arabian and half American... Please don't be angry on me just for that... And so I always write english, I have mostly english friends because I lived alot of years in the USA... So it's hard to write Arabic as I can write Arabic... I know I should be writing Arabic because it's better but I am really trying, I mean it takes alot of time just to write 1 line by Arabic... In the work, internet coffee...etc they all write in english and sorry again my dear brother.... Well If my english language bothering anyone please inform me... I might be bothering with my posts...
