CAPTAIN TSUBASA: CARLORS SANTANA

INTRODUCTION:

Hi there guys, this time I am going to write a review about a character not a full anime, well I know many of you don't know him well so wanted to write about so the people might know him more, he is Carlos Santana one of the main characters in Captain Tsubasa's games and he also appears in some scenes in the anime... Sadly I didn't found a great pictures of Santana nor any good informations since this character isn't popular as Captain Tsubasa or Hyouga or even Karl Heinz Shenider but anyway gotta write about him, if you have found any more informations or any pictures please post it up here and you are mostly welcome... Ok let's get going

CHARACTER DESIGN:
Ok I think the character's desgin looks pretty good since this guy is from Brazil, I don't know who was beind this character but I am sure Youichi Takeshi did something on this character, in the first Movie he looks pretty like Europe's kids kinde remind me of someone else, the same thing goes in the first Captain Tsubasa's games, it was good in the game but I didn't liked the movie's version, as for the J's version he was faaaaaaaar better than the old one since his hair turned to be long black, he became much wilder than before... In the last few mangas my friend brought it to me it was the best version of Santana, his costume was damn good out there, I like it that long black jacket along with his long hair ;) he kinda reminded me of fighting games character and that why I liked him, but sadly I didn't saw what it's gonna happen next and I am not sure if it was an official Manga... All I have to say the character design was pretty good and I like it, at least it's very good for a football player, though...
CHARACTER THEME:
Well Carlos Santana's background theme in every game is damn cool even in the movie, I know you might not notice but when ever Santana got the ball you will hear a really cool theme, but the best musics were in the first games, I liked his bg theme in Captain Tsubasa 2 for NES when he play in the Flamengo team and the Brazil's team both themes were damn good... I remember I found his vocal mp3 version of the music and it was damn good but very sadly I lost it because I re formatted my machine and when I tried to find for the site I didn't found anything that which made me to feel very sad, since this music was very rare, who knows you might found it somewhere in Captain Tsubasa's CD SOundtracks... Good luck :)
CHARACTER SKILLS:
Carlos Santana have a very great and usefull skills in both games and the movie... I admit his skills wasn't very cool in the movie but his skills was damn great in Captain Tsubasa J, since he defeated Tsubasa with his great skills and he teach Tsubasa a lesson that he will never forget but sadly he lost this match, anyway I like his Golden Eagle Shot and Super Overhead Kick, and his great dribble which he use it in Captain Tsubasa J, he also use his Drive Shot in the movie but it wasn't that great since this movie was pretty old... As for his skills in the games I am speechless since he have alot of cool skills, in Captain Tsubasa 2 for NES he have his awesome Spectro Dribble and Mirage Kick, this shot really bothered me alot when facing him it was really hard to stop him even more his Bushin (Spectro Dribble) it's very hard to take the ball when he use this dribble even if you try Hyouga's Tiger Tackle, in the gameboy version he became much stronger than that since he is very damn strong and you don't have anyone to stop him, you just say good bye to yourself, as for Captain Tsubasa 3 for SNES, his skills was pretty good but his dribble and his Mirage kick became weak since the other characters have gained more skills but yet he have found his best friend Coimbra and they have a great shot together named the Lizard Twin Shot, it's very hard to stop this twin shot use Muller or Ken maybe you can do something, though... As in Captain Tsubasa 4 for SNES it was the worst game for Santana since he became very very weak, I don't know why maybe because they gived the credits for other characters like the Holland dudes and the others... He gain one great shot but it's useless against the other great goal keepers you can just say he sucks in this game, that's all I can say... As for Captain Tsubasa 5 and J, he became once again a very good character, in Captain Tsubasa 5 he is one of the top 5 characters but yet not the strongest but very good, his dribble skills, and pass...etc are just like Alexion the greatest player in Captain Tsubasa 5 and his Super Mirage shot was very useful and great since it's not easy to catch it up... In J, he is the strongest character, oh yeah the stronger even stronger than Tsubasa, Hyuga, Hino and Schnieder... But you if you level up then it's a different story, Santana have a very great skills in the most of the games, I don't know what's more this guy gotta gain in Captain Tsubasa 2002 Road To World Cub...
CHARACTER VOICE:
Well I don't know what was the actor name but I guess it was great since it suites Santana very well, in Captain Tsubasa J his voice rocks, and mostly scream just like this "GOLDEN EAAAGGLLLLEEEEE SHOOOOTOOOOOOO" hehehe :D I liked that, though... Nothing more can be said about his voice but you will like it...
CHARACTER STYLE:
Carlos Santana's style is damn good, I like it alot, this guy have a really great style, I liked the way he play the football, a living hell in te inner side and a very cold character outside... It's pretty cool to see insualting his opponents with not giving a damn about their philosophy and their stupid craps knowledge, also living alone all the time and training mostly alone... All I have to say that Santana's style is one of the greatest in Captain Tsubasa's series and I don't think there will be someone like him again, well maybe Krifford or Alexion! :)
OVERALL:
Carlos Santana is a very great character for a sport series like Captain Tsubasa I mean just compare him with the others and you will notice the different, I don't know it's maybe only me who thinks that way but yet I am sure many others like him as well, this guy designing was very good, his voice was pretty good as for his skills it was the best for more, he have a cool story and style, all I have to say this character is almost complete or perfect...

History:
Carlos Santana, the captain of the Brazil's team and the club Flamengo... Carlos Santana lost his father when he was just a little child but before his father die he just gived Santana a gift and that gift was the Ball, Santana liked the gift and promised his father to be the greatest football player in the entire world... Santana's and his family were poor and lived in a poor village, his father have became very ill so Santana have searched for the money but it was useless... Then he used his ball to get the money to cure his father, he got the money after showing the people his great skills in controlling the ball and jumping...etc He got the money but whne he had came back to his home he saw his mother were crying... He knew that something bad happened, his father had just passed away, Santana shoucked to see that his father gone... He cried and ran towards his father hoping to hear a word from him but sadly he couldn't get any answer... His mother tried to ease him up but it was useless, Santana screamed and ran toward the ball with all of his anger and shot the ball, the ball hit the wall and made a little hole in the wall... Santana promised himself again to be the greatest player as his father wished... Sanatana were training all the time and showing for the people his skills incase to get the money and help his poor mother... Many of the kids were making jokes of him for not having a father and that what turned his heart to be black and like the stone... But after years Santana became popular in his village and every kids and young respected him for his great ambitions and determination for being the greatest one in the world... Years after Santana's mother became ill and he knew that his mother will pass away too, his mother gived him a necklece just to remember her forever, Santana cried for the second time in his life... But yet his mother was still alive but you can say she is a half dead... Years after Sanatana have joined some Brazilian football clubs and became a very good player, he became the greatest player in Flamengo... But due to the sad life he lived he didn't cared about his friends nor about anyone else, he only played for himself not for his team nor for his country, all he wanted is to became the most popular and the greatest football player... Then he met Roberto (Captain Tsubasa's trainer) they challenged each others, Roberto defeated Santana very easily and it's just if Santana was nothing, Santana shoucked to see someone have defeated him so easily after all of these years of training... Roberto told him that Football player should enjoy playing football and not only play it to win, he also said that win and lose it's all the same if the player enjoying the game but Santana didn't cared about these stuff and he said the power is everything, the victory is what he beg and nothing more, then Roberto destroyed him by his words by saying that he will never be the greatest player if he continue thinking this way... Roberto have trained the Flamengo team and became the main coach but Santana didn't joined his team and training under Roberto's hand, but after some days while he was training in the night he met Roberto once again, Roberto told him that he will train him no matter what Santana thinks, he will train Santana then Santana should choose the path he should follow, Santana agreed... After motnhs of training with Roberto, Santana became his disclipe and learned alot of things from Roberto like the Drive Shot, Over Head Shot...etc Now Carlos Santana became the greatest player in Brazil next to Roberto, Roberto told Santana that he will bring a very good rival, he is none other than Captain Tsubasa, Santana accepted the challenge and said he will be waiting and he will destroy Captain Tsubasa and his team very easily... Now Captain Tsubasa and the Japan Team have joined the tournament, Santana face the japan team alone, Santana defeated Tsubasa at the dribble and controlling ball skills, he was a little better than Tsubasa, and he caused alot of Damage to Tsubasa with his super shots on Tsubasa's face...etc mean while Tsubasa were doing what his master told him to do, is to play to enjoy not to win so he have played with all of his powers and he defeated Carlos Santana... Once again Carlos Santana face Tsubasa with the Japan team and he was the South American all stars team, he had became a little better than before but yet he was only using his power without using his mind, just like the old Hyouga, but yet he scored on the greatest Japan goal keeper Genzou with his Drive Shot which is Tsubasa's special shot as well... Then after that Tsubasa and his team recovered and have found all the supports from the team so they have scored some goals and defeated Santana and his team... Then the story complete in the manga, I am not sure if these comics are official or not but let me say what happen... Roberto invite 2 strong guys to Santana, they were none other than Coimbra and Gertize (Salinas) the goal keeper, Coimbra and Gertize challenged Santana and his team, Carlos for sure accepted the challenger, 2 vs 11, While Carlos Santana were moving the ball toward the opponent's goal he suddenly saw Someone behind moving very fast just like a ninja, he was none other than Coimbra, Coimbra stole the ball from Santana very easily and he made a counter attack, he have passed all of the Flamengo's team players even the goal keeper, then the same thing happened for the second goal, then Carlos Santana tried to go on again but then he saw Coimbra was waiting for him, Gertize told Coimbra to let Santana pass and face himself, Coimbra agreed... Santana was insualted and became very angry... He shot his new found shot Mirage Kick but sadly Gertize stop it very easily with his Dakness Illusion skill, he gived the ball to Coimbra and Coimbra shot his special shot and destroyed Santana and his team... Santana was shoucked once again, Roberto told him to not only think of Power the same thing Coimbra told him but he didn't heard to them, Roberto told Santana that Coimbra and Gertize are the newest player in the Brazil's team, that's mean Coimbra and Santana will play along with the same team... Coimbra told Santana to leave the football if he only want to play alone which shucked him and forced him to leave the area... Anyway after some months, Captain Tsubasa and his team arrived to Brazil to face the Brazil team, now the biggest challenge is on the way... Roberto was the trainer of the Brazil team, and he ordered Coimbra to only play in the second half... Santana said that he will destroy Tsubasa and his team this time, then Coimbra once again told him that he will never do it even in his dreams... Santana was thinking of Coimbra all the match and wasn't caring about the match which gived the japan team to shot on the Brazil's goal but all of their attacks missed against the great goal keeper Gertize, Gertize stopped Tsubasa's Drive Shot, Hyouga's Tiger Shot, even their twin shot as well... But yet Santana couldn't score anything... Then the 2nd half started and a mystry player have entered, he was Coimbra, everybody were scared to see him, just after 10 minutes Coimbra scored on Genzou 1 goal, then again after some time Genzou have noticed the trick in Coimbra's shot and stopped which cheered up the entire Japan team, then Tsubasa and Hyuga's scored 2 goals, Brazil's team one more goal to become a draw... Santana got the ball and attacked the Japan team but yet he couldn't do anything coz he wasn't giving the ball to his other teammates, Coimbra attacked Santana and hit him on his abdomen and his face... And he said that they should play as one man and one team... Now 10 minutes left in the match, Coimbra were facing a problem against 5 Japan's team defenders... Then again he heard a voice of Santana, he gived the ball to Santana, Santana had knoucked everybody of Japan's team with his great body power since he was a powerful player, but yet he didn't shot he was waiting for Comibra both of them jumbed to the air and did a very amazing Twin Kick which made a very cool score for them... Genzou couldn't even see the ball... Now the match end with draw... After that Roberto decided to stop training the Brazil's team then Carlos Santana thought that Roberto wanted only to train Tsubasa and not him, which burned another anger in himself... One day while he was training with his new and best friend Coimbra, he was thinking of Coimbra and tackled on Coimbra, sadly this tackle was the end of Coimbra's career... Santana have injured Coimbra, the doctor told Coimbra that he can never play a football again, which destroyed Santana and he was shoucked, he couldn't say anything, Santana apologised and Coimbra accepted his apologies but yet he was very down, Coimbra told Santana to led his team against Diaz and the Argentina's team, Sanatana agreed... Santana faces Diaz his former teammate, Diaz and his team won the match due to Santana's low skill in this match... Now Santana lost 3 things, Roberto, Coimbra and the cub... He left the football for a while and was walking all alone just like a lone wolf... Then once again Carlos Santana had came back to the football playing ground, he remembered his arch rival, Tsubasa, and remembered that he needs to beat Tsubasa, while facing the Germany team, Karl Shenider have already scored 2 goals on the Brazil's team and Brazil have only 2 score too, now only 5 minutes left... Carlos Santana took the ball and run with all of his powers toward the Germany's goal keepr, Muller, his last hope is this ball, he shot a very strong shot that he could never think to do it, that was his new technique which forced to take Muller to the goal... The Brazil's team won the match, then Carlos Santana met Coimbra again and say sorry to his best friend he also says that he is waiting for him... Carlos Santana met Roberto as well, Roberto can see the different eyes of Santana, Santana told Roberto that he will beat him and Tsubasa and he will make them down, Roberto couldn't say anything... Now once again the Brazil's team face the Japan Team but this time Roberto was on Japan's side... And Carlos Santana is no more the captain, Naturezza had became the captain of Brazil's team... Anyway the japan team have the top players such as Tsubasa, Hyouga and Hino (One of the strongest attacker of all time) Anyway Naturezza have scored 2 goals on the Japan team one against Ken and one against Genzou... While the Japan team have scored 3 goals, One Tsubasa, one Hyouga and one Hino... These 3 characters have the strongest shot in the football game... Anyway Santana and Naturezza have scored another goal on Genzou, but yet it wasn't enough... Tsubasa, Hyouga and Hino attacked the Brazil's team with their amazing shots, nobody could stop them and now only Santana left there even the goal keeper were lying on the ground due to the shots... Tsubasa's shot his Phoenix shot but Pepe and Salinas stopped after a very big effort then Hyouga shout his Lightning Tiger Shot which was the most strongest shot, Naturezza stopped the shot but it caused him to fly far away... Naturezza said to Santana that he is the only hope, Santana couldn't do anything... Now the ball stopped with Hino, Hino shot his Dragon Shot, Santana dashed to stop it the ball turned and hit his face which dropped a blood from his nose... Santana talked to himself how could someone dare to do this to him, how could someone make him to fall down, why everything I have just gone, why Coimbra left me, why Roberto have gone... He mumbled why and why! then he stand up again with a very anger on his face... And said, I tried to play not only with my powers but since my opponents needed then so be it... Santana said with a high a voice that he challenge the entire Japan team... Santana dashed toward Hino, he shot his Super Golden shot on his face which forced Hino to get out of his way, then he dribbled some others like Masaki Jun, and Taro... Then he met Kojiro Hyouga, Kojiro used his Tiger Tackle, Santana said so you want to pay a very high price, Santana shot his Volcano shot on Hyouga while he was tackling which gived him a very big damage... Then Santana managed to go through the other character by knucking them down one after one, now only 2 guys left Tsubasa and Genzou, Tsubasa tried to stop Santana but Santana was full of anger which made him to shot a very strong shot on his face but yet Tsubasa's stands up bravely but yet again Santana shot his VOlcano shot on his abdomen which forced him to lay down on the ground, for the first time in Genzou's life he felt he is scared... He couldn't do anything... But dashed toward Santana, Santana shot the Dragon shot (Hino's shot) on Genzou which made Genzou to fall down very badly, now nobdy left...Santana shot the strongest shot in his life and that Shot called The Miracle Shot, it's a combination of Tsubasa, Hyouga and Hino's shot, he cut the goal's nest and the ball fly toward the Japan's flag and destroyed the flag... Santana and his team won for the first time against Tsubasa and his team... The Brazil's team were very happy for their win, they all ran toward Santana to congrates him but Santana shouted and said: "Nobody comes near me" everybody shoucked... Santana walked toward Roberto with a very angry face and said to him: "This time I have destroyed Japan team, the next time we meet, there will be nothing left in you and your boys" for the first time Roberto feels scared and weak... He couldn't do anything... Santana walked off and while he was walking off suddenly he fall down... His teammates took him to the hospital then the issue ends here, sadly I didn't found the next issue so I can't tell what's going to happen.. And as I said before these manga's might not be official... Santana can be great in every spot on the pitch, he is a very good attacker and good defender, he have alot of great shots, great passes great over heads kicks also great tackles... All I need to say is that when Santana attack...

SPEED:
Santana's speed is pretty good, he is a fast player, yeah it's true he is not the fastest and even not as fast as Coimbra but yet he is a fast player, and I guess he is faster than Tsubasa, Hyuga, Hino, and maybe have the same limit as Karl Shneider, in the games his speed is just like the others but in the comics they made him a little faster comparing to the other characters....
OFFENCE:
Well I am can't say anything all I have to say when Santana's attack everybody should not stand in his way or they will say goodbye for themselves, he is one of greatest attacker in the entire series, have a very great shots and great dribble which makes him very great and one of the most impossible things to stop him, even the hero Captain Tsubasa by himself couldn't stop him, though... This guy is a very great for attacking the opponent and he is very useful too... Especially when he use his Miracle Shot, nobody could stop it, not Genzou not Muller and not anyone else even Salinas...
DEFENCE:
Santana is a great defencer as well, it's true his job is not to be a defender but yet he can be very good since he stopped many of the counter attacks of the Japan Team and stopped Tsubasa alot of times, he use a great strategies just like Jhun and great tackles like Hyuga, he is also great in cutting passes by using his Overhead Block, so it's kinda hard to go after this guy... Watch out Santana may destroy your career ;)
DRIBBLE:
Santana have alot of great Dribbles, he learned some dribbles from Roberto and his Bushin Dribble was damn great and it's kinda imposibble to stop him... He also have Overhead Dribble and some more that I don't know their names though... He have also some strong dribbles by knucking down his opponents just like what Hyouga do to Tsubasa and his team when they were childs but this time Santana is more powerful than our dear Hyouga, hehe... It's time to say good bye little kid...
JUMPING:
Santana have a big ability on jumping and he can jump very high just as if he is flying or something like that, he can do alot of skills while he is in air just like his Overhead Kicks and his Flaming Overhead shot also his Overhead block, they are mostly in the air, you can just say he is the king of the air nobody can be better than him in the air not Tsubasa, not Hyouga and not Hino...
OVERALL:
Carlos Santana is a very great character in every spot in the game, he can be very good at everything but the best when he attacks, I don't know what to say but this guy is just a complete character I know he is not that great in Captain Tsubasa 3 and 4 but in Captain Tsubasa 2, 5, J and 2 for Gameboy he have very great skills which makes him the greatest player of all time, only a few characters have skills like him and they are Coimbra, Krifford, Alexion the legendary one but sadly he doesn't have shots like Santana but yet he have the strongest shot in Captain Tsubasa series, also you have the Holland's dude in Captain Tsubasa 4 for SNES, these character might be a good challenger for Santana... Anyway I think this character deserve the full credits even if he is not popular...

Well Carlos Santana have alot of skills and I mean alot, I can't name all of them because I don't know Japapnese I will write about what I know...
BUNSHIN (ESPECTRO) DRIBBLE
Well this is one the greatest Santana's dribble, in this skill Santana moves fast right and left and make some illusion images of himsefl...
OVERHEAD DRIBBLE
Santan kick the ball up and then jump up following the ball and do a bicyclekick to catch the ball and avoid the oppoenent
OVERHEAD BLOCK
This skill when the ball is with oppenent, he use this skill to stop passes or shots, anyway he jump and catch the ball with his leg by doing an overhead kick
EAGLE PASS
He have this pass only in the comic, a very low ball but very fast, just like Matsuyama's shot
DRIVE SHOT
It's the same Tsubasa's Drive shot and he learned this shot from Roberto, pretty good shot but it's not that good, though...
POWER DRIVE SHOT
Here is the powered version of the Drive Shot, Tsubasa have this shot as well but Santana's version is a little better than Tsubasa's one...
MIRAGE KICK
Here is Santana's special shot, this is a great shot which the balls turn 3 or 4 balls, with some colors turning around right and left... He have this shot in the games and comics only...
SUPER MIRAGE KICK
It's just the same shot as Mirage Kick but with more powers, which means who ever try to touch will just fly away :D he have this shot in Captain Tsubasa 4 I guess but I am not sure, though...
GOLDEN EAGLE SHOT
This is one of Santana's favorite shots, he use it too much in Captain Tsubasa J against Tsubasa, it's just like Matsuyama's Eagle Shot but you can consider it as the upgraded version, the ball just moves fast and a yellow light follow it up, he have this shot in the anime, games and the comics as well...
VOLCANO SHOT
This is one of the strongest shot of Santana, it's very powerful and yet nobody stopped it completely, the ball just go like Hyouga's Lightning Tiger Shot, but some of balls illusion follow it up, he have this shot in Captain Tsubasa J and the comics...
PHOENIX SHOT
This is just like Tsubasa's Phoenix shot, but it's a little better too, though... He have this shot only in the comics, a very great shot and useful and it's the shot which destroyed some great goal keepers such as Ken and Genzou...
LIZARD TWIN SHOT
This is a twin shot, Coimbra and Carlos do this great shot, it's pretty cool shot and very strong it's mix of the Mirage Kick and Coimbra's special shot, even Genzou couldn't stop it, he have this shot in the games and the comics... I just hoped if Coimbra was in the anime
FLAMING OVERHEAD KICK
It's the greatest overhead Kick, it's very powerful, he have this shot in the games and the comics, he catch his leg with his hand while jumping then he release his leg and shot with all of his powers, this shot was just a counter to Hino's Overhead shot... He have this shot in the games and the comics...
THE MIRACLE SHOT
This shot is the strongest shot in the entire series, it's the greatest shot and the strongest shot, it's mix of Tsubasa's Phoenix Shot, Hyouga's Lightning Tiger Shot, Hino's Double Tornado Shot and his own special move the Volcano Shot, in this shot Santana catch his leg and then do a little cyclone by moving arond then he release his leg and shot with all of his powers, the ball turns red and a yellow light follow him while making a whole in the air... It's called the legendary shot since nobody was enabled to stop it, he destroyed the Japan Team with this shot, and it needs a very power from Santana to do it... It's the shot which made Genzou to feel scared and weak, for the first time and that why I like this shot, he have this shot in the game and the comics

Hi there guys, this time I am going to write a review about a character not a full anime, well I know many of you don't know him well so wanted to write about so the people might know him more, he is Carlos Santana one of the main characters in Captain Tsubasa's games and he also appears in some scenes in the anime... Sadly I didn't found a great pictures of Santana nor any good informations since this character isn't popular as Captain Tsubasa or Hyouga or even Karl Heinz Shenider but anyway gotta write about him, if you have found any more informations or any pictures please post it up here and you are mostly welcome... CHARACTER DESIGN:
Ok I think the character's desgin looks pretty good since this guy is from Brazil, I don't know who was beind this character but I am sure Youichi Takeshi did something on this character, in the first Movie he looks pretty like Europe's kids kinde remind me of someone else, the same thing goes in the first Captain Tsubasa's games, it was good in the game but I didn't liked the movie's version, as for the J's version he was faaaaaaaar better than the old one since his hair turned to be long black, he became much wilder than before... In the last few mangas my friend brought it to me it was the best version of Santana, his costume was damn good out there, I like it that long black jacket along with his long hair ;) he kinda reminded me of fighting games character and that why I liked him, but sadly I didn't saw what it's gonna happen next and I am not sure if it was an official Manga... All I have to say the character design was pretty good and I like it, at least it's very good for a football player, though...
CHARACTER THEME:
Well Carlos Santana's background theme in every game is damn cool even in the movie, I know you might not notice but when ever Santana got the ball you will hear a really cool theme, but the best musics were in the first games, I liked his bg theme in Captain Tsubasa 2 for NES when he play in the Flamengo team and the Brazil's team both themes were damn good... I remember I found his vocal mp3 version of the music and it was damn good but very sadly I lost it because I re formatted my machine and when I tried to find for the site I didn't found anything that which made me to feel very sad, since this music was very rare, who knows you might found it somewhere in Captain Tsubasa's CD SOundtracks... Good luck :)
CHARACTER SKILLS:
Carlos Santana have a very great and usefull skills in both games and the movie... I admit his skills wasn't very cool in the movie but his skills was damn great in Captain Tsubasa J, since he defeated Tsubasa with his great skills and he teach Tsubasa a lesson that he will never forget but sadly he lost this match, anyway I like his Golden Eagle Shot and Super Overhead Kick, and his great dribble which he use it in Captain Tsubasa J, he also use his Drive Shot in the movie but it wasn't that great since this movie was pretty old... As for his skills in the games I am speechless since he have alot of cool skills, in Captain Tsubasa 2 for NES he have his awesome Spectro Dribble and Mirage Kick, this shot really bothered me alot when facing him it was really hard to stop him even more his Bushin (Spectro Dribble) it's very hard to take the ball when he use this dribble even if you try Hyouga's Tiger Tackle, in the gameboy version he became much stronger than that since he is very damn strong and you don't have anyone to stop him, you just say good bye to yourself, as for Captain Tsubasa 3 for SNES, his skills was pretty good but his dribble and his Mirage kick became weak since the other characters have gained more skills but yet he have found his best friend Coimbra and they have a great shot together named the Lizard Twin Shot, it's very hard to stop this twin shot use Muller or Ken maybe you can do something, though... As in Captain Tsubasa 4 for SNES it was the worst game for Santana since he became very very weak, I don't know why maybe because they gived the credits for other characters like the Holland dudes and the others... He gain one great shot but it's useless against the other great goal keepers you can just say he sucks in this game, that's all I can say... As for Captain Tsubasa 5 and J, he became once again a very good character, in Captain Tsubasa 5 he is one of the top 5 characters but yet not the strongest but very good, his dribble skills, and pass...etc are just like Alexion the greatest player in Captain Tsubasa 5 and his Super Mirage shot was very useful and great since it's not easy to catch it up... In J, he is the strongest character, oh yeah the stronger even stronger than Tsubasa, Hyuga, Hino and Schnieder... But you if you level up then it's a different story, Santana have a very great skills in the most of the games, I don't know what's more this guy gotta gain in Captain Tsubasa 2002 Road To World Cub...
CHARACTER VOICE:
Well I don't know what was the actor name but I guess it was great since it suites Santana very well, in Captain Tsubasa J his voice rocks, and mostly scream just like this "GOLDEN EAAAGGLLLLEEEEE SHOOOOTOOOOOOO" hehehe :D I liked that, though... Nothing more can be said about his voice but you will like it...
CHARACTER STYLE:
Carlos Santana's style is damn good, I like it alot, this guy have a really great style, I liked the way he play the football, a living hell in te inner side and a very cold character outside... It's pretty cool to see insualting his opponents with not giving a damn about their philosophy and their stupid craps knowledge, also living alone all the time and training mostly alone... All I have to say that Santana's style is one of the greatest in Captain Tsubasa's series and I don't think there will be someone like him again, well maybe Krifford or Alexion! :)
OVERALL:
Carlos Santana is a very great character for a sport series like Captain Tsubasa I mean just compare him with the others and you will notice the different, I don't know it's maybe only me who thinks that way but yet I am sure many others like him as well, this guy designing was very good, his voice was pretty good as for his skills it was the best for more, he have a cool story and style, all I have to say this character is almost complete or perfect...

History:
Carlos Santana, the captain of the Brazil's team and the club Flamengo... Carlos Santana lost his father when he was just a little child but before his father die he just gived Santana a gift and that gift was the Ball, Santana liked the gift and promised his father to be the greatest football player in the entire world... Santana's and his family were poor and lived in a poor village, his father have became very ill so Santana have searched for the money but it was useless... Then he used his ball to get the money to cure his father, he got the money after showing the people his great skills in controlling the ball and jumping...etc He got the money but whne he had came back to his home he saw his mother were crying... He knew that something bad happened, his father had just passed away, Santana shoucked to see that his father gone... He cried and ran towards his father hoping to hear a word from him but sadly he couldn't get any answer... His mother tried to ease him up but it was useless, Santana screamed and ran toward the ball with all of his anger and shot the ball, the ball hit the wall and made a little hole in the wall... Santana promised himself again to be the greatest player as his father wished... Sanatana were training all the time and showing for the people his skills incase to get the money and help his poor mother... Many of the kids were making jokes of him for not having a father and that what turned his heart to be black and like the stone... But after years Santana became popular in his village and every kids and young respected him for his great ambitions and determination for being the greatest one in the world... Years after Santana's mother became ill and he knew that his mother will pass away too, his mother gived him a necklece just to remember her forever, Santana cried for the second time in his life... But yet his mother was still alive but you can say she is a half dead... Years after Sanatana have joined some Brazilian football clubs and became a very good player, he became the greatest player in Flamengo... But due to the sad life he lived he didn't cared about his friends nor about anyone else, he only played for himself not for his team nor for his country, all he wanted is to became the most popular and the greatest football player... Then he met Roberto (Captain Tsubasa's trainer) they challenged each others, Roberto defeated Santana very easily and it's just if Santana was nothing, Santana shoucked to see someone have defeated him so easily after all of these years of training... Roberto told him that Football player should enjoy playing football and not only play it to win, he also said that win and lose it's all the same if the player enjoying the game but Santana didn't cared about these stuff and he said the power is everything, the victory is what he beg and nothing more, then Roberto destroyed him by his words by saying that he will never be the greatest player if he continue thinking this way... Roberto have trained the Flamengo team and became the main coach but Santana didn't joined his team and training under Roberto's hand, but after some days while he was training in the night he met Roberto once again, Roberto told him that he will train him no matter what Santana thinks, he will train Santana then Santana should choose the path he should follow, Santana agreed... After motnhs of training with Roberto, Santana became his disclipe and learned alot of things from Roberto like the Drive Shot, Over Head Shot...etc Now Carlos Santana became the greatest player in Brazil next to Roberto, Roberto told Santana that he will bring a very good rival, he is none other than Captain Tsubasa, Santana accepted the challenge and said he will be waiting and he will destroy Captain Tsubasa and his team very easily... Now Captain Tsubasa and the Japan Team have joined the tournament, Santana face the japan team alone, Santana defeated Tsubasa at the dribble and controlling ball skills, he was a little better than Tsubasa, and he caused alot of Damage to Tsubasa with his super shots on Tsubasa's face...etc mean while Tsubasa were doing what his master told him to do, is to play to enjoy not to win so he have played with all of his powers and he defeated Carlos Santana... Once again Carlos Santana face Tsubasa with the Japan team and he was the South American all stars team, he had became a little better than before but yet he was only using his power without using his mind, just like the old Hyouga, but yet he scored on the greatest Japan goal keeper Genzou with his Drive Shot which is Tsubasa's special shot as well... Then after that Tsubasa and his team recovered and have found all the supports from the team so they have scored some goals and defeated Santana and his team... Then the story complete in the manga, I am not sure if these comics are official or not but let me say what happen... Roberto invite 2 strong guys to Santana, they were none other than Coimbra and Gertize (Salinas) the goal keeper, Coimbra and Gertize challenged Santana and his team, Carlos for sure accepted the challenger, 2 vs 11, While Carlos Santana were moving the ball toward the opponent's goal he suddenly saw Someone behind moving very fast just like a ninja, he was none other than Coimbra, Coimbra stole the ball from Santana very easily and he made a counter attack, he have passed all of the Flamengo's team players even the goal keeper, then the same thing happened for the second goal, then Carlos Santana tried to go on again but then he saw Coimbra was waiting for him, Gertize told Coimbra to let Santana pass and face himself, Coimbra agreed... Santana was insualted and became very angry... He shot his new found shot Mirage Kick but sadly Gertize stop it very easily with his Dakness Illusion skill, he gived the ball to Coimbra and Coimbra shot his special shot and destroyed Santana and his team... Santana was shoucked once again, Roberto told him to not only think of Power the same thing Coimbra told him but he didn't heard to them, Roberto told Santana that Coimbra and Gertize are the newest player in the Brazil's team, that's mean Coimbra and Santana will play along with the same team... Coimbra told Santana to leave the football if he only want to play alone which shucked him and forced him to leave the area... Anyway after some months, Captain Tsubasa and his team arrived to Brazil to face the Brazil team, now the biggest challenge is on the way... Roberto was the trainer of the Brazil team, and he ordered Coimbra to only play in the second half... Santana said that he will destroy Tsubasa and his team this time, then Coimbra once again told him that he will never do it even in his dreams... Santana was thinking of Coimbra all the match and wasn't caring about the match which gived the japan team to shot on the Brazil's goal but all of their attacks missed against the great goal keeper Gertize, Gertize stopped Tsubasa's Drive Shot, Hyouga's Tiger Shot, even their twin shot as well... But yet Santana couldn't score anything... Then the 2nd half started and a mystry player have entered, he was Coimbra, everybody were scared to see him, just after 10 minutes Coimbra scored on Genzou 1 goal, then again after some time Genzou have noticed the trick in Coimbra's shot and stopped which cheered up the entire Japan team, then Tsubasa and Hyuga's scored 2 goals, Brazil's team one more goal to become a draw... Santana got the ball and attacked the Japan team but yet he couldn't do anything coz he wasn't giving the ball to his other teammates, Coimbra attacked Santana and hit him on his abdomen and his face... And he said that they should play as one man and one team... Now 10 minutes left in the match, Coimbra were facing a problem against 5 Japan's team defenders... Then again he heard a voice of Santana, he gived the ball to Santana, Santana had knoucked everybody of Japan's team with his great body power since he was a powerful player, but yet he didn't shot he was waiting for Comibra both of them jumbed to the air and did a very amazing Twin Kick which made a very cool score for them... Genzou couldn't even see the ball... Now the match end with draw... After that Roberto decided to stop training the Brazil's team then Carlos Santana thought that Roberto wanted only to train Tsubasa and not him, which burned another anger in himself... One day while he was training with his new and best friend Coimbra, he was thinking of Coimbra and tackled on Coimbra, sadly this tackle was the end of Coimbra's career... Santana have injured Coimbra, the doctor told Coimbra that he can never play a football again, which destroyed Santana and he was shoucked, he couldn't say anything, Santana apologised and Coimbra accepted his apologies but yet he was very down, Coimbra told Santana to led his team against Diaz and the Argentina's team, Sanatana agreed... Santana faces Diaz his former teammate, Diaz and his team won the match due to Santana's low skill in this match... Now Santana lost 3 things, Roberto, Coimbra and the cub... He left the football for a while and was walking all alone just like a lone wolf... Then once again Carlos Santana had came back to the football playing ground, he remembered his arch rival, Tsubasa, and remembered that he needs to beat Tsubasa, while facing the Germany team, Karl Shenider have already scored 2 goals on the Brazil's team and Brazil have only 2 score too, now only 5 minutes left... Carlos Santana took the ball and run with all of his powers toward the Germany's goal keepr, Muller, his last hope is this ball, he shot a very strong shot that he could never think to do it, that was his new technique which forced to take Muller to the goal... The Brazil's team won the match, then Carlos Santana met Coimbra again and say sorry to his best friend he also says that he is waiting for him... Carlos Santana met Roberto as well, Roberto can see the different eyes of Santana, Santana told Roberto that he will beat him and Tsubasa and he will make them down, Roberto couldn't say anything... Now once again the Brazil's team face the Japan Team but this time Roberto was on Japan's side... And Carlos Santana is no more the captain, Naturezza had became the captain of Brazil's team... Anyway the japan team have the top players such as Tsubasa, Hyouga and Hino (One of the strongest attacker of all time) Anyway Naturezza have scored 2 goals on the Japan team one against Ken and one against Genzou... While the Japan team have scored 3 goals, One Tsubasa, one Hyouga and one Hino... These 3 characters have the strongest shot in the football game... Anyway Santana and Naturezza have scored another goal on Genzou, but yet it wasn't enough... Tsubasa, Hyouga and Hino attacked the Brazil's team with their amazing shots, nobody could stop them and now only Santana left there even the goal keeper were lying on the ground due to the shots... Tsubasa's shot his Phoenix shot but Pepe and Salinas stopped after a very big effort then Hyouga shout his Lightning Tiger Shot which was the most strongest shot, Naturezza stopped the shot but it caused him to fly far away... Naturezza said to Santana that he is the only hope, Santana couldn't do anything... Now the ball stopped with Hino, Hino shot his Dragon Shot, Santana dashed to stop it the ball turned and hit his face which dropped a blood from his nose... Santana talked to himself how could someone dare to do this to him, how could someone make him to fall down, why everything I have just gone, why Coimbra left me, why Roberto have gone... He mumbled why and why! then he stand up again with a very anger on his face... And said, I tried to play not only with my powers but since my opponents needed then so be it... Santana said with a high a voice that he challenge the entire Japan team... Santana dashed toward Hino, he shot his Super Golden shot on his face which forced Hino to get out of his way, then he dribbled some others like Masaki Jun, and Taro... Then he met Kojiro Hyouga, Kojiro used his Tiger Tackle, Santana said so you want to pay a very high price, Santana shot his Volcano shot on Hyouga while he was tackling which gived him a very big damage... Then Santana managed to go through the other character by knucking them down one after one, now only 2 guys left Tsubasa and Genzou, Tsubasa tried to stop Santana but Santana was full of anger which made him to shot a very strong shot on his face but yet Tsubasa's stands up bravely but yet again Santana shot his VOlcano shot on his abdomen which forced him to lay down on the ground, for the first time in Genzou's life he felt he is scared... He couldn't do anything... But dashed toward Santana, Santana shot the Dragon shot (Hino's shot) on Genzou which made Genzou to fall down very badly, now nobdy left...Santana shot the strongest shot in his life and that Shot called The Miracle Shot, it's a combination of Tsubasa, Hyouga and Hino's shot, he cut the goal's nest and the ball fly toward the Japan's flag and destroyed the flag... Santana and his team won for the first time against Tsubasa and his team... The Brazil's team were very happy for their win, they all ran toward Santana to congrates him but Santana shouted and said: "Nobody comes near me" everybody shoucked... Santana walked toward Roberto with a very angry face and said to him: "This time I have destroyed Japan team, the next time we meet, there will be nothing left in you and your boys" for the first time Roberto feels scared and weak... He couldn't do anything... Santana walked off and while he was walking off suddenly he fall down... His teammates took him to the hospital then the issue ends here, sadly I didn't found the next issue so I can't tell what's going to happen.. And as I said before these manga's might not be official... Santana can be great in every spot on the pitch, he is a very good attacker and good defender, he have alot of great shots, great passes great over heads kicks also great tackles... All I need to say is that when Santana attack...

SPEED:
Santana's speed is pretty good, he is a fast player, yeah it's true he is not the fastest and even not as fast as Coimbra but yet he is a fast player, and I guess he is faster than Tsubasa, Hyuga, Hino, and maybe have the same limit as Karl Shneider, in the games his speed is just like the others but in the comics they made him a little faster comparing to the other characters....
OFFENCE:
Well I am can't say anything all I have to say when Santana's attack everybody should not stand in his way or they will say goodbye for themselves, he is one of greatest attacker in the entire series, have a very great shots and great dribble which makes him very great and one of the most impossible things to stop him, even the hero Captain Tsubasa by himself couldn't stop him, though... This guy is a very great for attacking the opponent and he is very useful too... Especially when he use his Miracle Shot, nobody could stop it, not Genzou not Muller and not anyone else even Salinas...
DEFENCE:
Santana is a great defencer as well, it's true his job is not to be a defender but yet he can be very good since he stopped many of the counter attacks of the Japan Team and stopped Tsubasa alot of times, he use a great strategies just like Jhun and great tackles like Hyuga, he is also great in cutting passes by using his Overhead Block, so it's kinda hard to go after this guy... Watch out Santana may destroy your career ;)
DRIBBLE:
Santana have alot of great Dribbles, he learned some dribbles from Roberto and his Bushin Dribble was damn great and it's kinda imposibble to stop him... He also have Overhead Dribble and some more that I don't know their names though... He have also some strong dribbles by knucking down his opponents just like what Hyouga do to Tsubasa and his team when they were childs but this time Santana is more powerful than our dear Hyouga, hehe... It's time to say good bye little kid...
JUMPING:
Santana have a big ability on jumping and he can jump very high just as if he is flying or something like that, he can do alot of skills while he is in air just like his Overhead Kicks and his Flaming Overhead shot also his Overhead block, they are mostly in the air, you can just say he is the king of the air nobody can be better than him in the air not Tsubasa, not Hyouga and not Hino...
OVERALL:
Carlos Santana is a very great character in every spot in the game, he can be very good at everything but the best when he attacks, I don't know what to say but this guy is just a complete character I know he is not that great in Captain Tsubasa 3 and 4 but in Captain Tsubasa 2, 5, J and 2 for Gameboy he have very great skills which makes him the greatest player of all time, only a few characters have skills like him and they are Coimbra, Krifford, Alexion the legendary one but sadly he doesn't have shots like Santana but yet he have the strongest shot in Captain Tsubasa series, also you have the Holland's dude in Captain Tsubasa 4 for SNES, these character might be a good challenger for Santana... Anyway I think this character deserve the full credits even if he is not popular...

BUNSHIN (ESPECTRO) DRIBBLE
Well this is one the greatest Santana's dribble, in this skill Santana moves fast right and left and make some illusion images of himsefl...
OVERHEAD DRIBBLE
Santan kick the ball up and then jump up following the ball and do a bicyclekick to catch the ball and avoid the oppoenent
OVERHEAD BLOCK
This skill when the ball is with oppenent, he use this skill to stop passes or shots, anyway he jump and catch the ball with his leg by doing an overhead kick
EAGLE PASS
He have this pass only in the comic, a very low ball but very fast, just like Matsuyama's shot
DRIVE SHOT
It's the same Tsubasa's Drive shot and he learned this shot from Roberto, pretty good shot but it's not that good, though...
POWER DRIVE SHOT
Here is the powered version of the Drive Shot, Tsubasa have this shot as well but Santana's version is a little better than Tsubasa's one...
MIRAGE KICK
Here is Santana's special shot, this is a great shot which the balls turn 3 or 4 balls, with some colors turning around right and left... He have this shot in the games and comics only...
SUPER MIRAGE KICK
It's just the same shot as Mirage Kick but with more powers, which means who ever try to touch will just fly away :D he have this shot in Captain Tsubasa 4 I guess but I am not sure, though...
GOLDEN EAGLE SHOT
This is one of Santana's favorite shots, he use it too much in Captain Tsubasa J against Tsubasa, it's just like Matsuyama's Eagle Shot but you can consider it as the upgraded version, the ball just moves fast and a yellow light follow it up, he have this shot in the anime, games and the comics as well...
VOLCANO SHOT
This is one of the strongest shot of Santana, it's very powerful and yet nobody stopped it completely, the ball just go like Hyouga's Lightning Tiger Shot, but some of balls illusion follow it up, he have this shot in Captain Tsubasa J and the comics...
PHOENIX SHOT
This is just like Tsubasa's Phoenix shot, but it's a little better too, though... He have this shot only in the comics, a very great shot and useful and it's the shot which destroyed some great goal keepers such as Ken and Genzou...
LIZARD TWIN SHOT
This is a twin shot, Coimbra and Carlos do this great shot, it's pretty cool shot and very strong it's mix of the Mirage Kick and Coimbra's special shot, even Genzou couldn't stop it, he have this shot in the games and the comics... I just hoped if Coimbra was in the anime
FLAMING OVERHEAD KICK
It's the greatest overhead Kick, it's very powerful, he have this shot in the games and the comics, he catch his leg with his hand while jumping then he release his leg and shot with all of his powers, this shot was just a counter to Hino's Overhead shot... He have this shot in the games and the comics...
THE MIRACLE SHOT
This shot is the strongest shot in the entire series, it's the greatest shot and the strongest shot, it's mix of Tsubasa's Phoenix Shot, Hyouga's Lightning Tiger Shot, Hino's Double Tornado Shot and his own special move the Volcano Shot, in this shot Santana catch his leg and then do a little cyclone by moving arond then he release his leg and shot with all of his powers, the ball turns red and a yellow light follow him while making a whole in the air... It's called the legendary shot since nobody was enabled to stop it, he destroyed the Japan Team with this shot, and it needs a very power from Santana to do it... It's the shot which made Genzou to feel scared and weak, for the first time and that why I like this shot, he have this shot in the game and the comics
