This is a list of puzzles and mysteries we KNOW of, and, when they are found, their explanation if there is one.

Post here if you have any mystery or puzzle to had, any idea of what you can do to propose, or any help you can give really.

Puzzle : The Brail Cave

Under the sea west of the log street town there's a cave with japanesse brail. When one reads all the brail, and do as it says, it creates an earthquake.

Status : Solved 11/24/02 (Kabigon, Platinum Hawke, Damian Silverblade)
The Earthquake opens up the way to the three "Reji" legendary golems.

Puzzle : The stone altars.

In three locations in the world, there are large stones surrounded by six smaller ones (the rainy area, the desert, and the sea to the far west).

Status : Solved 11/24/02 (Kabigon, Platinum Hawke, Damian Silverblade)
Once you trigger the earthquake in the brail cave, these big stones open to reveal the way to the three reji legendaries

Mystery : Training ground of the dragon trainers.

Once you have the waterfall HM and are able to use it, you can access a new area of the sandy cave where you saved a scientist from Aqua and Magma. A trainer you meet there will tell you this is the place of the dragon trainers, and a place where the champion also comes. Said trainer, Takeru, happens to train dragons and wear a cloak.

Status : Solved 11/29/02 (Damian Silverblade, Platinum Hawke, some info from ShinyDragonScale from Gamefaqs).

Going further in the cave allows you to find TM 02 (a dragon move) and also lead you to the only area in the game where the small unevolved form of the massive blue flying dragon (Boomanda) can be caught (at roughtly level 30).

Mystery : The Wrecked ship.

The wrecked ship you find in the game seems to be being repaired, and professor Odamaki himself happens to be involved.

Status : Wheter or not you can influence this repairing remains to be seen.

Mystery : Shirazigar.

This mysterious pokemon has been seen by no one yet, on either versions.

Status : Shirazigar has been found.

Mystery : Pokemon 201 and 202.

These two pokemon have of course yet to be found, if they are available at all.

Status : We haven't found either of them.

Mystery : The Rocket Launch pad.

In the north-east most city, there is a rocket launch pad in the east of the city. It has no game effect that we know of yet. In relation is a mysterious white rock that was supposedly "placing there by the space center crew to bring luck to the rocket."

Status : wheter or not there,s anything to do there remains to be seen.

Mystery : the Blue gems cave.

North of the above city, there is a cave with blue gems inside. A man inside tells you he wants 4 blue gems and 4 red gems (shells). At first, you cannot access the blue gems, but a flood at some point will let you get them. There are still some parts of the cave we can't access, however.

Status : (Updated 11/29/02)
The red gems (previously knowns as shells) are now located (they are at the bottom of the cave where you catch Groudon/Kaiorga. We have been, however, unable to obtain them yet.

The current theory is that this may have to do with TIME.

Any other mystery you want to point out?

MYSTERY: The museum's blank walls. (Contributed by Dark Cloud)

In the town with the really big mall, there's a museum with a 2nd floor. An old man takes you there and all you get are 5 blank walls which say something when you examine them. What are those?

Status : Solved 11/29/02 (Slash NMA, from Gamefaqs)

To get pictures in these frames, you must win the various contests.

MYSTERY : The #151 Slate (Contributed by myself).

In the museum already mentioned, there is a slate with a picture of pokemon # 151 Mew on it. The text says (roughtly) "This is a slate with a figure of strange pokemon and characters (or letters) in every corner.". Note that my translation may be off on some (even many) points. The Mew picture is in its traditional "Ancient Mew" pose.

Status : Wheter this is just a cool side thing or actually useful stuff remain to be seen.
