can not write arabic!!

sorry that I must write in english, because I can not write in arabic until now.
Iam using debian 3.0 r1, which it is very stable and you learn linux very good.
I have installed KDE 3.1.2 the latest one and also all arabic Fonts "true Type and arabeyes ..".
I can read arabic text in Mozilla and Konqueor., but when Iwrite something in Kword or in kate .. it look very bad :( , it ist not arabic at all.

شغل kedit مثلا أو kate
ثم اذهب الى قائمة settings ثم
اذهب الى configure kate أو اسم البرنامج الآخر

أما اذا اردت تغيير الخط لكل البرامج بشكل عام ( قوائم kde ... )
kde control center-> look n feel -> fonts
انتبه fix width لا يصلح له كل الخطوط بعضها فقط مثل courer new
أما في gnome اذهب الى قائمة gnome ثم fonts
