Season Mode:
Your actions in & out of the ring determine bookings, relationships, & outcomes throughout the season.
Your character will be able to choose from 10-15 actions to be performed during each of the matches that you're not in [ex: Encouraging a particular character, stealing items such as Stacy Keibler's panties].
Interfering in someone's match and breaking into their dressing room will not only make an enemy out of them, but the crowd and other wrestlers in the WWE will start to regard you as either a heel or a babyface.
Making an enemy out of someone such as Triple H could make someone such as The Rock your ally.
Doing something during other characters' matches will open up hundreds of branches of storylines.
You'll get cinemas [created in the game engine] showing the consequence of your actions.
You can kiss up to and piss off every character and everything between those two extremes and do it to each individual character.
You'll be able to start factions and forge alliances and pick fights.
Quicker superstars [Rey Mysterio, Billy Kidman, etc.] are able to steal things & get away a lot quicker than the slower superstars [Big Show, Rikishi, etc.], while more powerful superstars are able to defend themselves more so than smaller/weaker superstars.
Injuries play an important role.
The more active you become in & out of the ring, the higher chance for injuries, etc.

The momentum bar has been removed, and has been replaced by a new "Voltage" meter.
The stamina has been fixed, having a more realistic feel to it.
The superstars sell the moves realistically.
The ability to drag your down opponents legs/head across the ring into position to do moves such as Kurt Angle's Ankle Lock. Also, you can turn over superstars to setup a hold on the other side.
Interactive Referee [3 Different Types].
Superstars can kneel down & grab weapons from underneath the ring.
The walking/running animations have been corrected.
Superstars can throw each other off of the cell & throw people through the cell in Hell-in-a-Cell matches.
Superstars can fight while standing on top of the cage in Cage matches.
Superstars can kick at other superstars while climbing the Cage to keep from other superstars grabbing their ankles & throwing them off the cage.
Up to 6 superstars in the ring at a time not including the referee.
There are now several mid-rope moves you can use against your opponent when their arms are tied up in the ropes [Mudhole Stomping, 619, etc.]
Superstars don't have to be groggy to perform finishers.
Gameplay is a lot quicker this time around.
Everyone's Voltage Meter starts out as an orange color. The superstars' Voltage Meters will have to become red in order to perform finishing moves. If a superstar's Voltage Meter is a green color they'll get the message "Danger".
The crowd will boo repetitive moves/finishers.
There are 8-9 Turnbuckle moves per superstar.
The reversal system will be a lot easier then the reversal engine from RAW 1.
The ability to reverse finishing moves.
The more submission moves you execute the more injured the victim will be. If enough pain is put on a superstar's neck/head area or leg area they will limp and/or grab their necks/heads, etc.
