Regarding GameSpot's review of Savage: The Battle for Newerth
This message is to state that the editors of GameSpot have decided to rescind the recently posted review of the PC game, Savage: The Battle for Newerth. This decision comes as a direct result of allegations by the game's developers that the reviewer of the product did not play it for a sufficient length of time prior to passing judgment--an allegation supported by specific server-side player logging that apparently measures exactly for how long the player's account was active.
While we have no way of substantiating this allegation ourselves, as we have no access to the same tools or information that the game's developers do, we nonetheless have taken and are taking this claim very seriously, and have discussed it in detail with the author of the review. He, in turn, takes the accusation very seriously--having written dozens of articles for GameSpot over the years, this author has certainly helped bolster our credibility with our audience over the long run. Nevertheless, as the author cannot produce sufficient evidence to counter the allegation (though he has not pleaded guilty to it, either), we are compelled to take the actions we believe are necessarily in the best interest of GameSpot and its users.
We are, now and always, firmly committed to providing our users with unequivocally accurate information about games--information that is deeply rooted in fact, and unadulterated by any biases from any parties. That is, we are committed to looking out for our users' time and our users' money, and we would never willfully post any article on this site that we knew to be in poor judgment or not based on a sufficiently experienced evaluation of the product in question. As such, we sincerely regret that this situation has come to pass, and trust that you, our users, understand why we have chosen to take this course of action, despite the decided ambiguity of the circumstances. We will re-evaluate Savage: The Battle for Newerth at a later date, using all due care and diligence as we consistently work to apply in all cases.

ببساطة...موقع جيم سبوت يسحب تقييمة للعبة Savage: The Battle for Newerth (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/savage/index.html)
Splinter Cell)......
