للعام الثامن من معرض E3 الذي أقيم في لوس أنجلوس في الفترة من 12 -14 أيار 2004 وبمشركة 35 مندوب من شركات إعلامية مختلفة متخصصة في مجال الألعاب، أعلنت الترشيحات الرسمية لنيل جوائز معرض لهذا العام 2004 .
