PPPoA

If your provider uses PPPoA you will need:


For kernels older than 2.4.15, the PPPoA kernel patch (ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/axboe/PPPoATM/) (grab the most recent one smaller than your current kernel version) by Jens Axboe (axboe@suse.de). Newer kernels already include this patch.
A PPP over ATM aware PPP daemon. To see if you already have one, run the command
find /usr/lib/pppd -name pppoatm.soIf the result is "No such file or directory" then you will have to download an ATM aware PPP daemon. Try these packages (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=23818), or install the ppp and linux-atm packages from SuSe (ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse) (version 8.1 (ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/8.1/suse/i586) or newer).
Remark: Debian users can use alien (http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_packages.pl?keywords=alien&searchon=names&version=all&release=all) to change rpm packages into the Debian deb format.
Remark: If dependency problems are stopping you from installing the SuSe packages, you can try recompiling the source rpms that SuSe (ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse) provides.

PPPoE

A PPPoE aware PPP daemon, such as a recent version of the ppp package (http://www.samba.org/ppp/) or Roaring Penguin PPPoE (http://www.roaringpenguin.com/pppoe/).
RFC2684 Bridging kernel patch and configuration utility (http://home.sch.bme.hu/%7Ecell/br2684/)
يقول اذا كنت تستخد هذا PPPoA ولا هذا PPPoE

حمل هذا البرنامج :

tar zxvf speedtouch-1.3.tar.gz

cd speedtouch-1.3

./configure && make && make install

ثم حمل :
http://www.speedtouchdsl.com/download/drivers/USB/SpeedTouch330_firmware_3012.zip

cp SpeedTouch330_firmware_3012.zip /etc/speedtouch

speedtouch-setup

سيطلب منك اليوزر نيم وبيانات اخرى وﻻ نسا ال vci vpi فهم مهمين لإتمام الاتصال

ثم :
speedtouch-start

اذا تم كل شيء بنجاح ستجد DNS الخاص بالشركة المشترك فيها في الأخير مثلاً :
primary DNS address 54.97.64.144
secondary DNS address 65.65.16.15

ثم اكتب هذا الأمر :

kedit /etc/resolv.conf

سيفتح لك ملف اضف به ال DNS تبع الشركه الي ضهر لك بعد اتمام الإتصال وكما في مثالنا السابق يكون :
nameserver 54.97.64.144
nameserver 65.65.16.15

ثم افتح اي متصفح واستمتع :)
