السلام عليكم
في البداية .. كل ما احاول تثبيت ال SP2 في الجهاز كانت تطلع لي هذه الرسالة :

دخلت على موقع مكروسوفت وقريت الموضوع بخصوص هذي المشكلة وطلع كالتالي: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;327101
Click OK to close the error message.1
Click Start, click Run, and then type appwiz.cpl in the Open box.2
Click the program that customizes the startup graphics, and then click Remove.3
Restart your computer, and then try to install SP1 again. If the problem persists, go to step 5.4
On the desktop, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.5
Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.6
Under System Startup, click Edit.7
The Boot.ini file opens in Notepad.
Locate and then delete the /KERNEL= switch.8
Save and then close the Boot.ini file.9
Restart your computer.10
Try to install Windows XP SP1.10
