عقدت نينتندو مؤتمر في اليابان قبل قليل بخصوص النينتندو DS وهذة اهم نقاط المؤتمر :

TOKYO, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Japanese videogame maker Nintendo Co. Ltd. (7974.OS: Quote (http://www.investor.reuters.com/FullQuote.aspx?ticker=7974.OS&target=%2fstocks%2fquickinfo%2ffullquote), Profile (http://www.investor.reuters.com/CompanyOverview.aspx?ticker=7974.OS), Research (http://www.investor.reuters.com/StockReports.aspx?ticker=7974.OS)) said on Tuesday it had raised its target for global shipments of its new "DS" dual-screen handheld game console by 14 percent to 4 million units for this business year.
Nintendo last May projected it would ship 3.5 million DS units in the year ending March 31.
Earlier on Tuesday Nintendo said it would launch the DS in the United States on Nov. 21 with a price tag of $149.99. It will launch the console in Japan on Dec. 2 at a price of 15,000 yen ($136.5).
That compares to the 9,800 yen price tag carried by its dominant handheld game machine, GameBoy Advance SP.
The announcement by Nintendo, which has a virtual monopoly in handheld game devices with a roughly 95 percent market share, comes an hour before a planned briefing by rival Sony Corp.
