It was only last week that Capcom confirmed its plans to release the formerly GameCube-exclusive Resident Evil 4 on the PS2, and now it seems Xbox owners are getting in on the action as well, if recent gossip can be believed.

According to internet gaming site Spong, an industry insider accidentally let slip Capcom's plans to release the game on this platform. "Resident Evil 4 will also be coming out on Xbox about the same time as the PlayStation 2 release in just short of a year's time," commented the source.

TGN has asked Capcom if it could confirm these rumours and this was its response: "The Xbox version has not been announced. Resident Evil 4's future on Xbox has not yet
been determined."

Mmmm, so not an outright denial but it's hardly confirmation either. However, it seems highly unlikely that Capcom would overlook the Xbox considering its motivations to release the game on the PS2.

انا اعتبره ان كابكوم عادت لرشدها بإصدارها على ععدة اجهزة والأجزاء السابقة قامت بإصدارهم على اكثر من جهاز لذلك نجحوا اما التي اصدرت فقط على الجيم كيوب فشلوا فشلا ذريعا...(مع احترامي لكل عشاق الجهاز وتأسفي لهم)
