What is the longest word in English?



i asked my teachers and he said " smiles " , and then he lauphed:31:

i think he said smiles because it is " s mile s "

because there is the word mile ( which is almost 2 and half Kilo meters)

in the middle of the word " smiles "



so i though that i should ask you guys

the word i said IS the longest word in english i saw it in a net site

its actually made from one word ESTABLISH and the other letters are just grammer add-ins i know i was amazed at first too
