i cant help u in ur game project coz i takes long time...but if u have any questions ask here or in game development forum...

u can developer applications for windows ce or proket pc with visual studio 2003...on new project select mobile application template or somthing similer

to start making ur own game engine...read...read again...and again...



read about game engine designing...about its components...and so...



after that...practice some tutorials...one from every thing u like to learn...



after u learn some stuff...start making ur 3d graphics engine...then make ur input engine...and so...

there is one more thing for u to know...if u start this project...it will take too long....so u better first think before wasting ur time...



u can make ur own engine and spend around two years on it for learning and making...



OR



u can learn how to use some already existing graphics engines like truevision and axiom...and so...they are free...and cool...u will like them...and once u learn how to use them...start learning AI and game physics...and so...less time will be spent this way...

i started my own game engine project in october 2003...and i am still working on it...see...it takes lots of time when u r alone...

about programming for mobile device with windows ce...



in vs2003...start a new project...select ur language...look in the project templates for a template with Mobile word in it...i dont remember the full name of the template...now i use vs2005 beta...

About programming Mobile Programs using VS2003..., I did program before but if u want too then goto microsoft.com and download a SDK for developing for mobiles, i forgot its name cause i formated my computer and i lost it, so get and install it and then you can program either by c++.net or VB.Net...

once u read about game development and when u have a general idea about a game engine and what it consists of.....tell me...i will help u with some info which might help u in ur decisions for u game engine structure and design...

from there...u can go to several other game dev sites...there are many...

also download emule (p2p file sharing client) and download some usefull books 3d graphics and so....and read them when u have time...keep them for later...as a reference...
