Al Salam 3alaykom

You reminded me olf myself long time ago because I faced the same problem. This happens to you because you panic while talking to your prof. First of all don't forget the famous saying "Practice makes perfect". I had to make funny mistakes with lots of my teahers and friends or sometimes forget the words and so on. I had this Job interview a couple of weeks ago and I totally forgot the word debate...I had to stay silent for a whole minute to remember it.Although The first language I spoke was English, But I'm still not perfect at it. Don't worry Om Sale7, don't think this is a bad indication or something.. just keep up the good work and try talking to your prof and friends in English again and again until you get good at speaking. . Another thing you should do is to watch lots of movies and sitcoms and stuff like that that come on MBC 2 or any channel because listening is an important factor in improving speaking. By the way you should know that sob7an allah all arabs can learn speaking very fast compared to other nations because our mother language nearly has all sounds of the world. Usually Chinese don't get too good in speaking ( I don't know why) they stay in english speaking countries for years and you can't still fully understand them because they're not saying clear statements

Hi there "Om Saleh"

I think that I've got an idea ... I hope it can be useful!!
how's your speaking with your friends??
if you don't speak with your friends usually ...
why don't you try to ask them to speak English
Language with you ... beside that ... you're an
English-Lang.-Student, aren't you? ... so now you
have a chance to develop your skill in you're
University, right?

i went to Berlitz Company and i have tested myself ...
when the speaking test came ... i thought it was the
tsunami earth quick!!! and when he begun to ask me
a few question ... i didn't understand what he's saying!!
usually when someone speaks with other, he/she could
smile ... i was so nervous :boggled: even i didn't know if i was
smiling or not ... after that he told me to develop my speaking
skill, and then I decided to speak with my friend by English ...
in "GENERAL LIFE" ... after that i went to Direct English...
and i had the test there ... and the teacher was surprised ..
he told me, where are you from, i told him: from here!! makkah!!
he said: no!! you're a big fat liar!!! what did you do to yourself?!!

well ... that what was happen to me ... honestly!!!

so ... you just practice and practice and practice
as " Culgary_dude " said ...

well then ... good luck with you're Univ. ;)

and thanks :)
