azpc... it all depends on what are you going to use it for... i have a toshiba satellite p-10.. its a pentium 4.... trust me... pentium is not made for laptops... this technology is for desktops... pentium laptops get hot very fast and make lots of stupid noises.. all my friends have toshibas.. all kinds of toshibas.. and i have one too as i told u so trust me when i tell u not to get any toshiba pentium 4.. get a centrino.. centrinos are the best for laptops.. they are super super quite, they make no noise and they are as good as pentium 4.. now the only problem with this computer other than its pentium 4 is that its video card is a built in video card that is 128 shared memory.. if you are gonna use any computer in general with a shared memory video card it should be only for internet or work or office...no graphics or games... they suck when it comes to them.. honestly... anyways.. if u want a toshiba get a Toshiba Satellite M-10... its the best... or maybe if there's a one after M-10? i don't know but it must be of the same series or at least get a centrino processor.. believe me i want to throw this computer in the garbage...it makes lots of noise and i will go and make a fight with toshiba so i can get that one next week in sha allah

Well I want to tell u that the a-10 is a P4 -M prossesor and a bad memory for me I need 512Mb so can u help me to find it !! ahhh maybe Dell is better ? but me I prefer toshiba cuz it's the best

for god's sake it has a 2.8 gegahertz processor and it isn't even a pentium 4 HT its just a pentium 4. what you're talking about is good for using the internet and office but not lots of things

اخي اي زد بي سي انا اكلمك عن خبرة 3 طلاب معهم توشيبا ساتيلات بينتيوم 4 و 4 طلاب معهم ال توشيبا ساتيلات M-30
و الرأي رأيك في الاخير لكن تناقشت مع اكثر من واحد منهم (علما بأن جميعهم يسكنون في نفس السكن يعني مطلعين على اجهزة بعض تماما) البنتيوم 4 تمام للجيمز و الملفات الضخمة بالدات لو يدعم الاتش تي او الهايبر ثريدينج تيكنولوجي لكن في المقابل سيسخن كثيرا و سيصدر اصوات مزعجة بمعنى الكلمة. السنترينو اللي كلمتك عليه لا بأس به للالعاب بالمرة و لكنه ممتاز للاعمال المكتبية.

nice to meet u yousef... I'm happy that I'm not the only arab here in Canada who uses the forum... I'm calgary_dude year 1@ Haskayne School of business at the University of Calgary, in the city of Calgary, Ab Canada

anyways what i want to say that it's all cool and i don't want to make a problem out of that..lol.. all i wanna say is that its good for other uses and azpc didn't mention for what does he want the laptop...if its for personal use like internet or whatever yeah yours will do him good..but its not good enough for games...it all depends on the use...that's what I meant..

azpc now that u said u want it for games and stuff forget about the M-30 its not good enough for graphics and same with the one my friend yousef pointed out...i think u should get the acer ferrari....its the ultimate gaming laptop...128 graphics card..powerful AMD processor..(I'm not sure about the the other details) and i guess a 1 gega or 512 ram...i'll try to get a link and send it to you

why i wanna buy computer in 3 thousands while i can get it in 2 thousands ? why u wanna pay 1 thousand for the brand name to be typed in my laptop? ( well i am just giving these numbers as examples)

what you're saying is true... but I wouldn't recommend one of these unless if I know it.. I mean the quality of the hardware they used...but yeah u're right..if u're sure they use some good hardware..then u're totally right

true.. 100% true...centrino is no good for games and graphics...its not as powerful as AMD or pentium 4

i learned that the hard way...by spending over 3100 on a heck of a laptop...but still a less powerful desktop would be way better for games and on top of that laptops are sooo sensitive.. I had to restore my system 6 times since i bought it 6 months ago...an average of once a month with the restoring cd not with the windows function or whatever...





although i recommended the acer that dude mention but eh.. it wont help a lot

and one last advice.. you have a playstation 2 azpc...no need for getting a really good laptop for games...keep your laptop for the rest of the stuff ;) if u don't get the laptop for games then i think the one yousef pointed out the ASUS is a good choice...
