at last fill the 3 gallons jar with water and pour it in the 5 gallons jar that already has one gallon of water

yeah but how do you know that you exactly filled 2 gallons in the 3 gallons Jar or 2 gallons in the 5 gallons Jar :06:

Fill up the 3 gallon jar, and pour it into the 5 gallon jar.
Fill up the 3 gallon jar again and pour it in the 5 gallon jar until that one is full.
There is 1 gallon left. Empty the 5 gallon jar and put that 1 gallon in.
Fill up the 5 gallon jar with 3 gallon.
1+3 = 4 gallons.

The Riddle Says:
You've got 10 boxes
Each box contains 10 gold alloys
each alloy weighs 10 k/g
But
Some one told you that you've been tricked, and in one of the boxes each alloy weighs 9 k/g only
You have a single-cuff scale = ميزان ذو كفة واحده
^^^^^I'm not sure if this is right
anyway
How are you going to know which box has the 9-k/g alloys by using the single-cuff scale ONCE?l
