Today iam gonna talk about the many kinds of sentences thats making such a trouble for the readers

KINDS OF SENTENCES





:there are three kinds of sentence



The Simple Sentence -

The Compound Sentence -

The Complex Sentence -


:The Simple Senctence -



A simple sentence contains one finite verb and has full meaning



:Note



Verbal nouns, present participles, past participles and infinitives are not finite verbs



:Examples



After having written the letter. he went out to post it -

The bad tooth did not let me sleep well last night -

?Do you enjoylooking at soccer matches -





?How to join two or more simple sentences into one simple sentence



:First Method

by using an infinitive without to



The thief stole the jewels. John saw him-

.John saw the thief stealing the jewels



The moon shines at night. i see it-

.I see the moon shining at night



The earth shook. The people felt it-

.The people felt the earth shaking



I heard Maha. She was singing an english song-

.I heard Maha singing an english song
