Don't get angry .... I hate these silly mistakes
Some people might think that I am trying to show off , but honestly speaking I am not. Why should I do so ? I do not have to show off at all. However , I feel sick and get furious each time I see these mistakes..........
So , I hope that all my sisters and brothers will be tolerant enough to listen to advice concerning a very common mistake that can be seen every now and then. From time to time , we need to add the letters (-ing ) to the end of a verb .. This is , of course , a very easy thing to do . Yet , many people , not knowing the rule , make these silly mistakes .
The rule is quiet simple .... Verbs which end with a final silent ( e ) in other words ( e ) that is not pronounced such as ( live - drive - like - hate - arrive - take ...... etc ) we simply drop the ( e ) before adding ( ing ) so have the verbs with ( - ing ) added in the following way : ( living - driving - liking - hating - arriving - taking - giving ............. etc )
Of course , there are some verbs such as ( see - be ) where the final ( e ) is pronounced . In this case , we do not have to omit the final (e). So , It is written like that : ( seeing - being ) .I hope this is clear and I also hope that my remarks will not upset some friends.... My love and respect to all of you ...
