on the orochi saga disc the game that's worth to be played the most would be 95 :D the only draw back with the Neo Geo version was the Life Gauge drainage was insane(come on!! Heidern with MAX stats, jump D, Down C , Up C = opponet dead????) the PS1 version had life bar contol oin the option, but the animation in that version sucked, if we get OST + Life bar edit in 95 on PS2 i'll be in heaven XD

just a side note : IMO 96 was a step backwards for KOF gameplay wise, the characters had no extra basics
like Iori's Cross Fwd+B in air, which is weird since he had it in 95 o_Ol< the AB roll was abuseable, and clarck was hell< 97 was the easiest KOF to perform motions in, plus the fact of no music in some stages ticks you off sometimes but the conclusion was worth it

btow: i saw the sstenkka videos it looks promsing................and they broght back the refree ...thats a good sign.............and with the power o f the astimowave the gauges , the attacks effects and the sounds are cool..:)

the sticks in japan cost around 15-16 BD, a new copy of the later SNK games (neo wave, samurai zero etc) cos around 20 BD, the Garou package cost 23 BD(all of these are japanese prices, we didnt talk about shipping yet) see the problem is shipping, sticks ain't light, a friend and i ordered the normal Neo Sticks 3 pieces, the price with divided shipping cost on the both of us summed up to 40BD for each stick so i do NOT recommend buying something that comes with the stick as a single package(ordering with alot of people will help reduce the shipment cost) >_> trick a shop or a retailer into importing it :p

hey ... can you tell me more about ordering ......i mean the sites the price everything.......cuz i really wants to buy some of the games orignal packs.....becuse sometimes the copy game didnt relesed in bahrain or they take month .for example namco vs capcom took 3 month and then after the game relesed i reached the finals stages and the game stop working.....a glitch or somethin like that .all the work and the waiting that i done simply gone .

the sites we usually order from are www.yes-asia.com and play-asia.com, other than having a credit card and a personal phone number there's not much to it, just make sure that the adress u ship to is the same as the one as the credit card, u usually recieve a tracking number to see where ur shipment is exactly online

When someone slaps Capcom back into it's senses. Capcom don't seem interested in fighting games anymore so the chances of that are 1%, still there's SvC Card Fighters for the DS (Yay!)

see there's this slight problem in SNK and Capcom's throats in japan, it's called Arc System Works no matter how u look at it, Arc manages to squeeze an unimganible game systems and throw them in together with reasonable balancing, add a bit of hard hitting HEavy Metal Tunes, Rock and Classic anime refrences here and there, hi res sprites(fact: the highest res sprites in a 2D fighting game to date, the game looks sweet with Progressive scanning on), some of the most well know voice actors in the industry to give it an anime feel acommpanied by the fact that Daisuke's art kicks major ass(yet under appreciated), a story so good you'll wish all fighting games had stories like this and the Orochi saga, add an easy to learn + takes years to master gameplay with almost every character having his own gameplay system(some can run, some can dash, some can parry, some can triple jump) throw in some weapons ALA Samurai Shodown and voila u got the future of 2D fighting called the Guilty Gear series


no, i'm not a guilty gear fanboy as some might think, im a fighting game fan but this doesnt change the fact that SNK or Capcom have to do something groundbreaking to surpass Guilty Gear, and i think that's what Capcom is doing atm, Cap Vs SNK 2 was enourmous, a really huge game with a ton of depth held back by the fact that there were 3 cheap characters abused in tourneys(Blanka, sagat, cammy) if capcom is gonna surpass Guilty Gear or even itself in CAP Vs SNK 2, they'll have to bring out something revoultionary

it just occured to me, that reason we're not seeing any SF4 footage around is because of the fact that Arc unleashed Hokuto No Ken which is basically Guilty Gear with HNK characters =_= oh well

at least SNK are keeping us busy with thier games and they aren't afraid of the GG pehnomenon :p

again i announce that im not dissing SNK or Capcom im just stating an opinion <,<
