These R some of the sayings that I learned in college
:D and I decided to share 'em wit u guyz
A right word & wrong implications كلمة حق يراد بها باطل
Nothing is good or ill, but by comparison و الضد يُظهر حسنه الضدُ
Don't shower someone with prays unnecessarily لا تهرف بما لا تعرف
A talkative man wastes his breath المكثار كحاطب الليل
His talk vanishes into thin air كلامه ريح في قفص
He spoke at random رمى الكلام على عواهنه
Hit the heart of the matter اصاب كبد الحقيقه
Well-said / well-spoken لا فض فوك
sharp tongued سليط اللسان
It's a male-camel behaving like a she-camel استنوق الجمل
Words cut more than swords رُب قولٌ اشد من صولٍ
They speak the same language وافق شنٌ طبقه
On pins and needles / Make someone's blood boil على احر من الجمر
To make a mountain out of a molehill يسوي من الحبه قبه
A stream doesn't rise above its source العين لا تعلو على الحاجب
(X) disappeared into thin air انشقت الارض و بلعته
Live & Learn عيش كتير تشوف كتير
Handsome is as handsome does الجمال جمال الروح
The spirit is willing , but the flesh is weak العين بصيره و اليد قصيره
Out of sight, out of mind / What the eye doesn't see, the heart doesn't grieve over اللي ما تشوفه العين ما يحزن عليه القلب
Don't buy a pig in a poke لا تشتري السمك و هو في الماء
It's like turkies voting for Christmas مثل عشم ابليس في الجنه
