I have been woundring, during the last few weeks.. why, why and why

why am I studying?

I never really thought about it .....

or if I did what I was thiking is ya study so you make money when you grow up...


but, no, its not that what I discovered recently

I found out that I am studying to provide our world with knowledge ...

Now I don't think Money is the reason .... no no no..

many people thinks .... oh you should study that or that ... and when I ask why


They said " its a good major"

Then I ask again why ?


They answer me back " you will make more money"

?who cares about money if you are not enjoying what you are doing

Seriously, have you ever thought after let say...... 10 years if you dont like what your doing ....

wont you hate doing it all the time ... every day.....

I just don't know why i wrote this ... I think because I am just s pissed off


anyways the professor notice I am not paying atention in class ... I will have to go

Allow me then to ask why you took it from the begining?

I really want to know because I believe no matter what pressure you have from your parents or friends to study a certain field, in the end you will only go on whith what you really like as long as you have a strong mind set on it

Anyway, since this is the past, we need a solution for this problem since you are already involved in it

My Advice

If you already spent a lot of time in your current major, it might be too late to anything about it. Just make sure not to do the same mistake with your children

If you are still at the begining of your academic jurney then stop right now and change your major to what you really like and don't care about anyone else. After all, it's your life right

yes its ture what you said ... there is a big pressure from every one around

and I think everyone suffer form the samething

I did not start taking the needed classes but still untill know everyone is telling me which one I should take...

anyways .. I am going to stop and I am going to do what I wanna do not what they want to do

but brother beleive me if what you are doing is not for your benifit whether in this life or after death you want be able to do it unless god wants you to do it
i hope that u got the point

one more thing befor leaving
in each major you will find diffeculties espescialy if your doing things from your heart and not just doing it
beleave me when you feel like you were so tiered of doing some thing when u finish it you will love it and at least you will not blame your self from not being honest or feathful

Ya I think its an international question every one asks .. but now I am going to do what I know I am going to enjoy


even if it is hard I would do it


my current major is Computer Science :31:

but by the end of this semester I am going to change to Architecture

i'll tell u what
i used to be an Electrical/Electronic Engineer for 2 years.
now i study finance, i transfered to the major that i like.dont care about future salary, dont care about the social standing. I only care about my desire and my need.

wish u a good choice to take.

sometimes its not up to us bro ..thats why we feel abit lost cuz being somewhere or doing something is not really up to us most of the time we are mostly forced ...
u may say forced by fate ...
i think u should adjust to what ever situation u find ur self involved in
cuz that might finaly help u after trying every possible way to change it >>just adjust

of course, and espically in our region, the sources of pressure on us however are they have a huge effects on us. Jobs avalability for example.

I see alot of student doing that but this , in my opinion, not thier responpility only. the learning system can get the most of blames of this problem. we see that in US for example, the studend knows what he wants in early level of education. i dont see it here...
we shoud discuss this problem.

finally, i see that dealing in the existance of our sources of pressure is better than avoiding them.

we have waist our young age to study and if we look what we did we saw that a big part of our age goes quik but in same time u feel
som how u have to run to follow the the rest
