Hallo am a linux administrator about a 3 years ago i am making this poll to check out what is the best linux distro in the arabic world.
in this article i will explain some vanilla favours of every famous linux distro
Well lets begin with my favorite distro ( Suse ) "Using linux kernel" its powerfull and stable with updates and suse have somthing called yast ( Yet Another Setup Tool ) in yast you can configure almost everything from desktop to servering dhcp, apache, nis, and suse have SUSEFIREWALL builtin Its a great firewall
Gentoo WOW "Using Linux Kernel"its great system i like so much its for profetional use coz the installation of it its more than stable and he have emerge its like rpm-manager that uptade your system
Freebsd "Using BSD Kernel" its stable and flexible than linux kernels so i preffer freebsd for servering and some other stuff its also uptade utility ( make world ) and its support most hardware
Slackware " Using Linux Kernel " its stable but he misses dynamic uptades and great package installer (installpkg)
Debian "Using Linux Kernel" its powerfull and no need to talk about its stable, updates
