To connect to your Xtra Broadband Wireless Network





Step 1.Turn on your PSP console and go to Settings and then

Network Settings.



Step 2.Select Network Settings.







Step 3.Select Infrastructure Mode.







Step 4.Choose New Connection.







Step 5.Give your new connection a meaningful name, i.e. Home.







Step 6.Press the right arrow button to move to the next screen.







Step 7.Select Scan with the O button on the right of your console.





Step 8.Recognise and select the Xtra Wireless router/hotspot that you want to connect to.







Step 9.Press the right arrow button again to go to the next screen.







Step 10.Choose None, WEP or WPA, depending on which type of security encryption you are running on your Xtra Broadband Wireless Network if any.







Step 11.Insert your WEP or WPA key. If you are not running WEP or WPA, proceed to Step 12.







Step 12.Press the right arrow button to go to Address Settings.







Step 13.Choose Easy. For advanced users, choose Custom to manually set your IP, Proxy Server and DNS Settings.Step 14.Proceed to the next screen to confirm the connection settings.







Step 15.. When you are satisfied with the connection settings, press the right arrow button to move to the next screen.





Step 16.Press the O button to save settings.







Step 17.Lastly test your connection after you have saved the settings. It should return with a summary of the connection.









You can then launch the Internet browser to start browsing the Internet or go to an online enabled game, choose the connection you have just set up and proceed to game with other players online, download files or browse the top scores etc.

To connect to a hotspot

Step 6.Press the right arrow button to move to the next screen.



Step 7.Select Scan with the O button on the right of your console.



Step 8.Select wireless hotspot.



Step 9.Press the right arrow button again to go to the next screen.



Step 10.Choose None.



Step 11.Press the right arrow button to go to Address Settings.



Step 12.Choose Easy.



Step 13.Then go to the next screen to confirm the connection settings.



Step 14.When you are satisfied with the connection settings, press the right. arrow button to move to the next screen.



Step 15.Press the O button to save settings.



Step 16.Test your connection after you have saved the settings. It should return with a summary of the connection.



Step 17.Next go to Network and choose Internet Browser.



Step 18.Choose the Telecom wireless hotspot connection you have just created.

Step 19.Insert your favourite website address and wait for the Telecom wireless hotspot log in page to appear.



Step 20.Follow the log in instructions to connect to the Telecom wireless hotspot.



Step 21.Once you have logged in, you are ready to browse the Internet.





Tip: Set your PSP Internet browser to Small Font and Just-Fit display mode for best viewing.
