:05: hi all

:12: my mum was having just one eye:blackeye: >>i hated her>>>

:11: .and one day at school my mom came to take me
http://messenger.msn.com/MMM2005-08-22_16.23/Resource/emoticons/confused_smile.gif.I was so embarressed
:mad22: ?how could she do this to me
http://messenger.msn.com/MMM2005-08-22_16.23/Resource/emoticons/48_48.gif.I threw her a hateful look and ran out

The next day at school... "Your mom only has one eye?!?!":p ..and they

:09: .taunted me

I wished that my mom would just dissappear from this world so I said to my mom, "Mom.. why dont you have the other eye:p ?! if you're
:mad22: only gonna make me a laughingstock, why dont you just die?!!!"

my mom did not respondhttp://messenger.msn.com/MMM2005-08-22_16.23/Resource/emoticons/47_47.gif... I guess i felt a little bad, but at the same
time, it felt good to think that i had said what i'd wanted to say all
this time:o ... Maybe it was because my mom hadnt punished me, but http://messenger.msn.com/MMM2005-08-22_16.23/Resource/emoticons/49_49.gifi didnt think that i had hurt her feelings very badly.

That night... I woke up, and went to the kitchen to get a glass of
water. My mom was crying therehttp://messenger.msn.com/MMM2005-08-22_16.23/Resource/emoticons/cry_smile.gif, so quietly, as if she was afraid that she might wake me. I took a look at her, then turned away, because of the thing I had said to her earlier:o , there was something pinching at mein the corner of my heart. Even so, I hated my mother who was crying out of her one eye. so i told myself that i would grow up and become successful, cause I hated my one-eyed mom and our
:31:desperate poverty..

Then I studied real hard. I left my mother and came to Seoul and
studied, and got accepted in the Seoul University with all the
http://messenger.msn.com/MMM2005-08-22_16.23/Resource/emoticons/shades_smile.gifconfidence i had.

:ciao: to be continued

Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. Then i had kids, too...
Now i'm living happily as a successful man. I like it here because it's
a place that doesnt remind me of my mom. This happiness was getting
bigger and bigger, when....

:wow: What?!
:11: Who's this?!
:mad22: ...It was my mother...
:12: ..Still with her one eye.
It felt as if the whole sky was falling apart on me. My little girl ran
away, scared of my mom's eye, and i asked her,

:o "Who are you?!"
"I dont know you!!!" as if trying to make that real. I screamed at her,"
how dare you come to my house and scare my daughter!"

"GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!"

And to this, my mother quietly answered, "oh, i'm so sorry. i may have
gotten the wrong address," and she dissappeared out of sight.

Thank goodness... she doesnt recognize me.. i was quite relieved.

I told myself that i wasnt going to care, or think about this
for the rest of my life. Then a wave of relief came upon me...

>of paper in her hand.... it was a letter to me.

My son...
I think my life has been long enough now..

embarressment for you. You see, when you were very little, you
got into an accident, and lost your eye. as a mom, i couldnt stand
watching you having to grow up with only one eye... so i gave you mine... I was so proud of my son that was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye. I was never upset at you for anything you did.. the couple times that you were angry with me,.. I thought to myself, 'it's because he loves me..'

:( My Son... Oh, My Son...

Hello Another -One

Lots of thanks my dear friend

Nice work indeed

But , do you think that if the son was told , since the very beginning , that he was given the eye of his mother , do you think that he would act differently ??? In

my opinion , the story is very nice but it should have given us some sort of

devine justice

for

that

ungrateful

son.

Bye

In this case, I think guilt is enough

The story is amazing, as always ^_~... Finally, I can study now lol j/k
But it is so sad. It makes me depressed to know that there are people like that in this world

:) :) :)

My dear sister , the story is without any doubt amazing.. There is no question about that . But in my opinion , the reader is all the time waiting eagerly to see justice is done. I believe that ingratitude should severely be punished. Being guilty , from my own point of view, is never enough as punishment ...

Did you know that Allah the Almighty quickens the punishment of ingratitude of the children to their parents in life and that justice is done when they are still alive ???.. They must see it and they pay much for it... May Allah save us all

Lots of good luck in your study

and best wishes of success

Bye

;) hi joe, thanks dude

u r right in case the son was told the truth of his lost eye he would be ungrateful ....coz he was a kid

but the story should've not had a devine justice

the point here is that the mother gives alot...but receives Nothing

:أفكر: bless them all

:05: thank you again
