Gamecloud - What sort of graphical improvements are being made for this fourth installment of the game?

Daniel Roy - By bringing the Chaos Theory engine to the X360, we’re unleashing a very lean and mean engine on next-gen hardware. Our environments are massive now, and some are in broad daylight. Also, we have a variety of environmental effects affecting visibility: such as a snow storm or a dust cloud.

Gamecloud - Will there be any gameplay and content differences between the various versions of Double Agent?

Daniel Roy - Absolutely. SCDA on current-gen consoles and on X360 are being developed as two distinct games with the same storyline, so environments, effects, AI, etc. is custom-tailored for each generation of consoles. On XBOX and PS2, we’re able to take hardware we know very well and push it to the limit… while we can be free of the constraints of current-gen and go crazy on next-gen.

Gamecloud - This will be the first Splinter Cell game for a next-gen console. What additional graphical features and additions will be made for this version of the game.

Daniel Roy - Again, missions are totally originally designed for the X360. One mission, for instance, starts on the top of a 5-star hotel in Shanghai… You can actually see the skyline around you for miles ahead, including boats moving on the river. This type of graphical ambition would not have been possible if we had started with a XBOX design then ‘upgraded’ it to X360… We had to start on X360 from scratch.
كلام مهم جداً .. واضح انه الجرافكس راح يكون صاروخي على الـ X360 .. لهذا هم عطوها فريق مختلف عن فريق الجيل الحالي حتى يطوروا فيها من الصفر هذا المهم !!!

Gamecloud - Are there any plans for a downloadable demo for the PC and Xbox 360 versions before its release?

Daniel Roy - Absolutely.

Daniel Roy - We really can’t wait to really show this game to the world. There’s a lot we’re not saying so we won’t spoil the surprises… But just know that we’re making sure you get one hell of a ride once you pop this game in your X360. :)

مقابلة ممتعة

اكثر شي عجبني سالفة الديمو اتوقع يمكن ينزلونه بعد معرض اي 3
انا اتمنا ان اغلب الشركات تنزل ديمواتها وقت المعرض
حتى يتسنى للناس الي في البيوت تجربت الألعاب وهم ببيتهم تماماً كزوار المعرض :D
آخ بس لو تفكر ميكروسوفت في هذا الشيء
