عندي سؤالين احتاريت فيهم و حبيت تساعدوني فيهم

الأول

ما الفرق بين الجملتين
( I have heard ) و ( I heard ) بمعنى ( سمعت )
فكلاهما يدل على الزمن الماضي , فما الذي أضافه الفعل ( Have ) الى معنى الجملة الاولى

الثاني

لماذا يتم استعمال الفعل ( would ) في الزمن المضارع في بعض الاحيان بدلا من ( will )
كقولنا

would you like a cup of tea

او استعمالنا الفعل ( could ) بدلا من ( can ) بالرغم من ان زمن الجملة هو المضارع
كقولنا

could you show me the way to the restaurant

الأول

ما الفرق بين الجملتين
( I have heard ) و ( I heard ) بمعنى ( سمعت )
فكلاهما يدل على الزمن الماضي , فما الذي أضافه الفعل ( Have ) الى معنى الجملة الاولى


اخي I heard معناها "سمعت" طبعا"
وهي Past Simple فهي شي سمعته وفي اللحظة هي ليست اخر شي قد سمعته
I mean "I heard" is something that i heard but its not the last thing i heard

ولكن "I have heard" فهي Present Perfect وهي اخر شي قد سمعته
فلم اسمع شي بعده قط وهي طبعا بنفس معنى I heard



الثاني

لماذا يتم استعمال الفعل ( would ) في الزمن المضارع في بعض الاحيان بدلا من ( will )
كقولنا

would you like a cup of tea


اخي الافعال would,could,should احيانا تستخدم في الزمن المضارع للجملة
وهي ايضا تظهر بعضا للاحترام
فمثلا لنقول:
?Would you open the window please
وهذه في حالة الطلب "Request" فنستخدم الفعل المناسب



او استعمالنا الفعل ( could ) بدلا من ( can ) بالرغم من ان زمن الجملة هو المضارع
كقولنا

could you show me the way to the restaurant


اتمنى ان تكون قد وضحت في جواب الثاني أ

لو كان معي كثيرا من المال, لكنت قد اشتريت سيارة جديدة


This is one of the IF Clauses
Its IF Clauses Conditional II
(The first part of the sentence is the ( If Clause
(The second part of the sentence is the ( Main Clause
(The first part always in Conditional II is ( Simple Past
( Like ( I had
The second part always in Conditional II is ( Would,Could or might + (Infinitive

Very means : كثير او جداَ
Too means : ايضا َ
and its for somthing more than Seriously
Like we could say

Well thank you very much for creating such a great thread
which will help alot of people whom are beginners or even experts whom forgot somethings ...
However i've been thinking about a way to teach my friends
this lovely language but i failed.... i could never let them enjoy
learning it from me Everyone says *Mustafa you talk too fast*
& we're not able to understand a word from
& here comes a funny thing happened with my months ago
when i was talking to a worker in english, he interrupted me saying :
Do you know something ? i think even the president of america won't able to understand you from the first time you talk to him . lol
However sorry for blabbering too much but here's my problem my question ... How to communicate with my friends while letting them understand me "taking into account" that i talked alot of american people
& they said that nothing wrong my english , it's just i'm used to talking as fast as american people do

Education in Saudi Arabia


If there is any thing i know about education in saudi arabia i would say that it really needs some instant improvements.


I'm not saying it's bad but it can be better than that..in fact much better,for example:it's doing a great job with religious and arabic materials because it's simple from the start,all you need is to remember every thing you read when ever you need to remember it..just like that..you don't need a lab or great teacher to do that,but with physics you need a great teacher,a well organized book and a lab.


The basic idea in the education system in k.s.a is to give you-the student-the most amount of information they can give you in one year and that is just not working..english lessons are useless and you can ask any one who graduated from saudi high school about that.


The conclusion is yes,education in s.a needs to be improved..how??well, we can start by decreasing the pages of the books,focusing on the practical side in some materials like physics and building more labs

I think I get what you mean .. But, what you are asking is something we all pray to find one day .. It is very hard to find a research encyclopedia .. Still , The members of the English Forum will try their best to help you out including me


I'd like to make something clear to you .. We call something a research because we are given a topic like smoling for example .. which we take to search engines online or to the library and try to find related TOPICS .. not topic .. from different sources and it is not considered a research if it comes from one source


Allow me to ask you again ... What kind of research are you looking to find ??

why in first used with the second one by.



I think that we use with in "covered with snow" because snow can be removed and it only covers it on the surface

and we use by in "covered by water" because water covers it completely from all sides.




wish how do we use it?
The basic uses of wish:

Past perfect:
(I didn't study for the test) I wish I had studied for the test.

It enriches your with more knowledge
Knowing what something means in other languages is very important
It enables you to communicate
And actually know what poeple are saying to you

The action of translating will surely inhance your ability to recognise new vocabulary and perhaps guess what they mean from the content of the text or the speach

Translation (subtitles) in movies on the other hand are even more useful
When watching a movie with subtitles, we unintentionally focus on the subtitles as the movie continues to play
Still, we are able to recognize the meaning of new words from the subtiles
Therefore, subtitles play a major role in the learning process

Then you translate it

If you go back to Oxford Dic . you gonna find this:

*Miss : a title prefixed to the name of an unmarried woman or girl.
*Mrs : a title used before a married woman's surname of full name.
Ms : a title used before the surname of full name of woman regardless of her marital status (a neutral alternative to Mrs or Miss )

*-* so you can find that Ms doesn't mean Miss

and as I remember you once wrote a topic about the books you red, obviously..you're quite the book freak, so it shouldn't be that hard for you to come up with names, do some background researches and you'll be amazed!!

anyway, my own personal list will be this:

-E.A.Poe as my primary candidate
- Belzac, while he is not a perfect match like Poe, but he had his own fare share of issues
- Mark Twain, while this man have no mental problems, it is the way his brain functions and deals withe the tragic events in life what amazes me, he somehow managed to become even more sarcastic after every tragedy event in his life, and I find that rather interesting.

now, throw some samples of their works here and there, write down your comments, connect those samples to whatever issue the writer had and explain why do you think this passage is affected by it.
all in all, you can easily have 10 nice pages

ادرس اللغه الانجليزيه والحمد لله احصل على علامات جيده ولكن اواجه مشكله في المحادثه اليوميه واشعر بالخوف

"Fan" معناها الأساسي مروحة..لكن عندي احساس انو مو هذا المعنى اللي تبغيه..
معناها الدارج والأكثر استعمالاً هو كاختصار لكلمة - Fanatic - ومعناها: معجب, مشجع او عاشق..
على سبيل المثال..:
I'm a PS2 fan..معناها انا من عشاق البلاي 2
وعلى هذا القياس خذي عندك..:
