Major Nelson, the Director of Programming for Xbox Live, has revealed in his latest podcast (http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2006/05/28/Show-176-The-one-about-the-dash-update.aspx) that the Xbox Live Vision camera will launch simultaneously in Europe and North America on September 19, 2006.
The Xbox Live Vision video camera allows gamers to personalize their gaming experience with their own unique gamer picture, send photo messages, and chat by video with friends and family over Xbox Live. This peripheral seamlessly integrates with the Xbox 360 system and Xbox Live and with the upcoming Spring platform update (http://features.teamxbox.com/xbox/1596/Xbox-360-Spring-Platform-Update-Details/p1), all Xbox 360 consoles will be ready to work with Xbox Live vision the day this accesory launches.
