help needed from ppl living in saudi arab

hi guys
im in living in saudi arabia, in doha
i just moved here and got a 512dl-128ul connection
yet i can only use a max of 40kb for dl and 6 for ul
its almost stable with direct download and when using bittorent and mirc
but when im using wow its a different stroy
im sure i got everything right, a friend of mine is a computer scince graduate checked everything and didnt find anything wrong
anyone live in doha have the same prob with wow?
any suggestions would be welcomed

sounds like either a hardware or line problem, if your hardware is decent i suggest calling your isp and telling them about your problem they'll reconfig. your ports etc to make your line much faster.... good luck
