The First Book:
A Brief History of Time. The first book is a very famous scientific book written by Stephen Hawking.

The second book is a very very famous novel called The Alchemist or الخيميائي and it was written Paulo Coelho.

تدور أحداث الرواية حول الراعي الأسباني سانتياغو الذي كان حلمه السفر والتجول في ربوع أسبانيا بلا هدف معين سوى استكشاف العام .
بدأ مسـار حياة سانتياغو يتغير عندما أصبح يرى حلما غريبا حول أهرامات مصر ، والذي لم يعره أدنى هتمام في البداية ، حتى وصل إلى مفترق طرق حياته عندما قابل شخصـا يُدعى - ملكي صادق - الرجل الغريب الذي يعلم أسرار سانتايغو الشخصية ، و الذي أخبره بأن عليه أن يُصدق حلمه ويسعى للبحث عن الكنز الذي رآه في أحلامه وأن يتبع الإشارات الطبيعية التي تُشير إلى موقع الكنز ، بعبــارة أخرى عليه أن يتبع أسطورته الشخصية .
يبدأ سانتياغو رحلة البحث عن الكنز ، يبيع قطيع خرافه منطلقا نحو مِصــر ، مرورا بالمغرب وشمال أفريقية ، ويقابل العديدين خلال مسيرته هذه ، العرافة الغجرية ، اللص العربي ، بائع الزجاجيات ، الرجل الإنجليزي ، بدو الصحراء ، فاطمة ! ، وأخيــرا الخيميائي ..
تدور الفكرة العامة للرواية ، حول مسألة أن هناك لكل شخص - أسطورة شخصية - وأن الله ييسر الإشـارات والعلامات للشخص ليحقق أسطورته الشخصية ، فإن غفل عنها أو لم يكترث بها لن يصل لهذه الأسطورة ، وإن بحث عن أسطورة غيره لن يصل إلى أسطورته أيضـا .
