After successful debuts on both the Xbox 360 and PC, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has one more big console to hit: the PlayStation 3. We are incredibly excited to start exploring the vast world Oblivion has to offer. Luckily, we won't have to wait too long because Bethesda Game Works has confirmed today that the PlayStation 3 title will ship on March 20th in North America.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a massive open-ended RPG that has such an amazing world that other games have only hinted at. The PlayStation 3 version of the game will offer a few important improvements compared to the other versions due to extended development time. Among other changes, there is a crisper and richer look than the other versions (especially in HD), bug-fixes, and gameplay tweaks that PC and 360 owners have had to download, built-in from day one. Most importantly, load times have been cut down significantly.
What’s more is that The Knights of the Nine expansion pack comes standard in the PlayStation 3 version. Start clearing your schedule, as you won't have much free time after getting this game.
Oblivion will be available at the European PS3 launch on March 23rd
