Seth Luisi, Senior Producer of Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) and Zipper Interactive, recently had an interview with the Official US PlayStation Magazine. SOCOM was discussed and a very interesting piece of information was dropped. It seems SOCOM for PS3 will be radically different from the current editions of the franchise (we won't know how different until E3). The full quote is here:
"With our game on the next generation, we're looking to do a pretty drastic departure from the current game. So I can't really go into too much detail, because I don't want to give anything away too early. But it is going to be pretty different from what we have now."
