Square Enix announces a new play Chocobo on Wii entitled Chocobo' S Dungeon: Toki-Wasure No Meikyuu.

Square Enix has just announced as envisaged the development of Star Ocean 4 without specifying the console which will accomodate the title. They is tri-Ace which will take care of the development. The Japanese editor would have also announced remakes of the first two episodes of the series Star Ocean on PSP (see images).

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates was finally given a firm Japanese release date of August 23, 2007. No mention of a US release date at this time.

May 10, 2007 - Immediately after Square Enix revealed the August 23rd release date for the Nintendo DS version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, the company went right in to talk about the progress being made on the Wii version of the series.

Not much was revealed on Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers at the Square Enix Party Pre-Conference event this evening. A trailer was shown -- a brief video cut together from short snippets of real-time in-game footage. The video was more meant to show off the art style being employed in the game and not actual gameplay, so we got a lot of shots of the lead character -- a blond haired bloke with goggles -- jumping around in cutscenes. But it was real-time, and it looked sharp and smooth, and it looked like the game's going to be in widescreen on the Nintendo Wii. Unfortunately, Square Enix representatives requested that we do not show any photos or video of this trailer. So you'll just have to take our word for it.

Square Enix was going to have the game demoed at this press event, but according to the company the development team thought that it wasn't quite ready yet and pulled it. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers will presumably be at the Square Enix Party event in Japan later

لانه اللعبة صراحة عيبتني على هذيج الأيام, حتى أنهم سووا بها لعبة سباق اسمها جوكوبو رايسينج على ما أعتقد و اللعبة ليومي ألعبها بين فترة و فترة!!

انا لعبة جزء ال PS1 .. بس مب قادر اتذكر وايد منه بس الي اذكره انها كانت لعبه عجيبه XD ...

اما لعبة السباق T_T حرام ولله كانت لعبه ماتنوصف ...

بس للاسف ضاعة ._. كان عند اخوي .. و يوم غير حجرته ضاعة شوية العاب ._. و لعبتين التشوكوبو كانت من بينهم

Dragon Quest Swords - I am not a big RPG person, so Dragon Quest Swords really has my attention. First person sword slashing, with RPG light elements. It sounds like the game is shaping up nicely, and it may have more a younger audience focus. That’s fine by me though, as long as I get to slice up some slimes I’ll be happy!


Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Even with my distaste for games like this, I played the original Final Fantasy Tactics. A2 looks to be more of the same, and I don’t mean that in a bad way. For those that like their battles a little more strategic (and a lot longer!), A2 should be just the thing.



Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates - I’ve gushed on enough about how much I enjoyed FFCC for the Cube. I cannot wait to get my hands on this DS version. This will make a multiplayer focused game so much easier to take on. While you won’t be carrying a bucket this time around, you will be in for much more a streamlined experience.

Yuji Hori talks Dragon Quest

- Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker will most likely see a sequel sometime after the release of Dragon Quest IX

- While Dragon Quest IX has changed from action based battles to traditional RPG battles, some action elements have been left in. It all depends on the circumstances of your battles

- Wii to DS connectivity was once again confirmed, but we were given no details as to how this feature will be used

- Character creation in Dragon Quest IX will have somewhere around 10,000 different attributes to build your character

- You can meet up with real world friends via wifi through Luida’s Bar

- Dragon Quest Swords on July 12th, Dragon Quest IX

- More Square-Enix remakes are on the way, but nothing specific was confirmed
