Asslam Alikum
everyone in the world have something to fear, some people are afraid of spiders, some are afraid of dark. However what I am talking about here is not the normal fear, not the fear where you just scream a little and move on I am talking about the uncontrollable fear. Every woman in the world -or at least most of them - is afraid of mice, if she saw one she might yell and maby climbe a chair and wait for her hero to kill it - unless he hates mice too- but if you have a phobia of mice then yelling and creaming is the least thing to do.
some poeple knows when and how did it started but some just don't have a clue about it.

so what is your phobia??
I 'll go first, I am afraid of the small places, if I had to be in a small place I wouldn't be able to breath. once my sister was talking about a cave she visited, she said something about how you have to crawl to get inside a smaller cave coz it is really small you can't even stand in it :bigeyes: I couldn't even sit to hear the rest of the story, I start having one of the fits of total horro which I have when I would be in a small :02: place. as many I don't know why is this I just know it is in me.


so would you share your phobia with me??

Hey

Iam affriad of swimming in a water that I never know what's in it

Back in South Africa, I went to the swimming pool with my uncle
And just on the other side of the pool, there was a water, I actually didn't know what was it for
...Anyway

Some people used to catch fish there, but this water looked so terrible
>< It looked like it has a punch of crocodiles in and this plant stuff

:wow: So we went there, and my uncle just jumped in for a swim
AAAAAAAAAAhh

:blackeye: !!!All I could do is running back to the swimming pool

Oh my God that sounds bad , I don't like swimming either in unknown water, if I didn't know what underneath me, but I can face this fear, I mean it is not a big deal to me..it is coz I read a stuiped story when I was a kid about a water demond that I wasn't supposed to read!

I guess thats the main problem, because I used to read all this kind of stories

Its like telling your child dont go outside the door now in the night
!!there's ghosts
Then they just grow up scared of darkness

I always felt bad for people who are afraid of high places
God helps you
Nakkash I know what you mean about mom telling their kids creepy stories! and that is why I hate telling the kids in the family anything about monsters outside

not the death but what is after the death
am afraid if i get asked by the angels and if i couldn't answer them
i really think in this so many times
am different than you because my phobia depends on the truth
but you all can get over your own problems

I know what you mean anasserge, however every Muslim is afraid of it too and if someone said s\he is not afraid of death and what after s\he would be lying and the thing is as I said before it is things we know why it is there, I mean everyone is scared of the unknown and death and what after is unknown actually it is the unknown
but what I was talking about is a real illness, I mean there are people are so scared of closed rooms or places -cholostrophobia- that sometime they can't even close the bathroom door! it is a conditon you see.. sometimes it comes after an accedent the person had gone through as a child..

well , i can say that there no thing i feal fear from it in my world , specialy ; i am surrounded with my family and my friends love and i have got some faith in my heart
so that i live comfortable life

the real muslim is not going to fear death
because everyone is going to die
I don't say that a muslim don't like to live longer
but he is not going to have a phobia from death

what a real muslim fear is Allah

this fear push us to do good things
help us to avoid sins


In my point of view
a muslim fear Allah in all what he/she does
death is a transformation from one life to another

Salam Katsumi san I see your point and I think that a good Muslim is not afraid of death but afraid of the sins he had made and whether he did good enough to stand infront of Allah or he didn't.
however a bad Muslim or non Muslim would be afraid of losing life and all it's joy you see what I mean, s\he won't be able to eat, drink, tavel, hung out with friends any more, it would be things that one can't control how it goes and so as the human nature taught us a human loves to control his life, as soon as you die you won't be able to..
so I thin fearing death can be normal in either way..
