In our society, everybody has a label. People are labeled according to where they come from, how they look like, the way they think, or even what they can do best. Some people for example, are labeled as "Artists".


As a child, I used to participate in art activities simply because I adored crayons. In the high school, I took two art classes because I thought I would do well in art. That would be very good for my GPA. In university, I began considering art-related majors.


People spend a lot of time on their computers. As do I. We always look for something new to do. I starting using photo editing software and spend sometime shopping online or away from the computer. Photo editing and shopping have similarities. They are affected by a person's mood and they both reflect a person's sense of art and taste.


Colors, fashion, materials, styles, make up, accessories. More colors, brushes, spaces, strokes, techniques, effects. They all determine how much of an artist a person is.


it's a tricky thing, art. For it is all about tastes. A painting might impress someone and others might not have the same feeling about it. I may like it very much while my friend would completely despise it.


In terms of the knowledge I gained throughout this semester, in my art class, I've learned many things. There is always something new to learn about art. Given the proper inspiration, a painting will turn out very beautifully. I also learned how to criticize a painting properly. In general, art is definitely a way of expressing your emotions and thoughts on paper or anything that is not classified as reading material. That is what The Art of Drawing taught me.


Sadly, this semester is ending but in that there's hope for dependant art education for the students of "The Art of Drawing" class. I don't think it should be very hard to do. All we need is encouragement, art supplies and inspirations.

Well .. art is a Huge big word
it includes most of the human activities
such as Painting ,sculpture , literature and music

I like art because you stimulating your thoughts
by transmitting emotions and ideas into an amaizing
work of hand


I agree with piccaso when he said :
"Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life"

But I have an issue that i dont know its reasons ><
I used to love art & painting since i was 5
years old ..you know those kids painting where
??you see a house or farms& forests with happy faces

I was drawing everything I imagin everything i see
My father was taking my drawing & he used to hang them in his office at work :hug:
I once visited an art musium when I was a kid with dady

But When I reached 15-16i kinda lost my
passion for art .. it doesnt intrests me anymore
dont know why ..allthough that
i dont like to paint now , but i like reading & seeing
recognizable artistic paintings in the Old decage

About having the passion for art ... I never lost it
I just lose inspirations
Sometimes just looking at old photos triggers a flood of ideas through my head
I mean I start painting something and i finish it within a couple of weeks
Which is exactly wat painting / drawing demands
time
If you have it . then all you need is inspirations

And "Starry starry Night" is one of my favourites

even a dot on a white canvas can mean a very big thing,
I understand that you think that Van goe's painting are just strokes of colors!

but for me it is the most beautiful painting I've ever seen, you dont know how many time and effort it would take a very good artist tothink of each single stroke of color and put them together
it is a hard job indeeed

I appriciate your honesty , yet you cant say it sucks just because you DONT understand it
:othere are other words you can say to express your feelings toward Art

welcome back to me!
I see what Kiki chan means,
I think of the way she looks to art like the way I look to books, I have a friend who wouldn't go with me in the library because she said " books makes me sick"
I think she is @#!$ I mean you can " not like reading much" but you can't ever read a book I mean... give a break
the same thing with art.. it is not only paintings it is what make us.. oneday that was all what people in the caves had got to leave a mark, that was there way of internet, books, tv, phones every commenictaion devise..art..
so I understand how much it affects our basic life
I mean when you choose a shirt with a nice drawing in it.. or a notebook and so on it is all art!

Painting is just an Art component
I mean it just goes under the list of Art

!! Which makes me love art
I mean you get somone likes drawing
The other hates it but likes Music

I actually dont like Painting and that doesn't mean I dont like Art

it is true that art is not just painting that's why I said I like art.. I don't paint I suck as a matter of fact in painting but I think it is nice to look at it..

I didn't quite get your point Nakkash
but what I meant is that when you talk about art.. you have to like it or hate it.. you can't just say.. well,I don't know how I feel about art.. you see you have something about it you hate it..and it is mainly because in your day you go around with all kind of art formes
you wake up and maybe you have a painting in your room that you take a fast glance to, noon, you turn on TV, and watch a show maybe.
night you are hearing a song..you see what I mean...it is alwyes somehow part of our life.
