the following brands use it:

corsair
a data
supertalent
ocz

G.skill

they all use 64Mx8 chips then the diffrence is the heat sink

what do you need to look for is low timing and high memory speed

Their are 3 types of ram:
ddr
ddr2
ddr3

most common is ddr2 and prices are falling daily if you want to run vista I would recommend 4 gb
