Link was but a small forest child,
Always to be young, free and wild,
Living in the kingdom of the great Deku Tree,
But without the key element of a guardian fairy
Rise forth Link, hero of Time,
As the great Deku Tree lay in his manor,
He felt great evil, and soon, a great war,
He decided it was time to call the childless fairy,
The childless guardian by the name of Navi

For the boy, Navi searched all the lands,
For the fate of the world lay in his hands,
She searched and searched until she began to lumber,
Until she found the boy in a deep, deep slumber,
