ًWhy Do People smoke

Millions and millions of people know that smoking is believed to be harmful and even dangerous to health, yet they continue smoking_or even start smoking.why?

Experts in various fields say that starting to smoke, and the process by which it becomes a habit. is complex and not fully understood. Of course, certain things can be pointed out as those that get people started on smoking and others that keep them at it_but the point is it is not just a simple matter.

For example,we know that most people start smoking because other people around them do it. Do you know,for example,that in a 1999 study ,34% of saudi males over the age of 12 smoke? Tow third of these smokers reported that their friends influenced them to start smoking at a young age.Childern feel it makes them seem
adult to smoke .Other children also urge them to smoke,and often they see their parents smoking _so they start smoking ,too
