For me yes ,, Cuz it hepls me to learn new words and Idioms ,,

therefore,, it expands my knowledge of Vocabulary N Grammar

Yes, the best thing here is you get your reading, listening and writing skills all improved while enjoying your favorite anime series, I’d say: time well spent :09:

As bonus, you may be able to learn Japanese (or any other language) if you keep watching anime in its original language translated into English

well, I would say video games all the way :D
I like anime, and I do watch my fair share of shows and its definitely a good way to improve your language, my only take would be on the fansubs !
sometimes what they say just doesn't make any sense !
and I know thats really kind of off topic :D

I believe that by this way you may strengthen your listening and get some vocab and basic statements.

Learning grammer, writing, reading and speaking require much more effort and can't be earned by just watching animes, movies etc
