Hello everyone
I have some speaking problem
there some letters like C for example
the C letter say like K
like : Call , cable ... and so on
we say C without change if
the C letter become before
i .e .y
like : cell phone , circle , Cylinder


but my problem with the letter G
when we say G like Q
when we say it without change ?

firstly : did you mean, how can we find it like "ج"
there is a lot of words we say it like that
but it is impossible be in the begining like ج
only among the letters
example :

revenge or grudge or fragile

maybe i didn't understand you
or i am wrong
just a help

I think i understand what you're talking about
you mean the way we pronounce the letter G according to the word the letter is in
well i'm sure about something
when the letter i or e come after G then it will be pronounced like the letter J almost and maybe there is one more letter with the i and e
i'm not sure
but usually its pronounced like the Q

Spelling With C
When c is followed by e, i or y, it says /s/ as in cent. Otherwise, it says /k/ as in cat.


Examples of the /s/ sound: centre, ceiling, circle, and cycle.
Examples of the /k/ sound: cottage, cave, cream, curious, and clever.

Spelling With G

When g is followed by i, e or y, it says /j/ as in gym. Otherwise, it says /g/ as in gold.


Examples of the /j/ sound: gentle, giant, and gymnastic.
Examples of the /g/ sound: gallon, gold, guide, glass, and grow.
Exceptions: get, got, begin, girl, give, gear, geese, gift, girth, geyser, and giddy
