The game's full name is Shin Megamitensei Nine, with the 'Nine' referring to the nine Matrices used in previous entries in the series. This version of the game takes place in 202X and is centered in Tokyo. Throughout the game, you'll see in-game representations of famous Tokyo hot-spots, from the sleazy Shinjuku to dirty Ikebukuro, all the way to late night party center Roppongi (no word yet on if foreigners will populate the region as they do today). In an interesting twist, you actually live in an underground dome, a 'Cybertown' created in the image of 1990s Tokyo. What's the outside world like? Your guess is as good as ours for now, although perhaps that will figure into the story some how.
