تقرير Twisted Metal أسطورة السيارات والدماء والخيال جميع الأجزاء....

نظرا لقلة من يتحدث عن هذه الأسطورة الخالدة

فحبيت اتكلم عنها باختصار شديد وما أصعب الاختصار إذا تكلمت عن منتهى العظمة في الألعاب....

البداية

حبيت أبدأكم بنفس البداية الاروتيقراطية وأكلمكم عن تاريخ PSX الذي كلكم يعرفه

وبما أن كلكم يعرفه لذا ساختصر

عام 1994 أطلق الجهاز في اليابان ونظرا لرخصه الشديد حطم الكثير من الأجهزة....

وعام 1995 صدر في امريكا بسعر 299 مقارنة بـ399 لأجهزة بنفس قوته وأقل في نفس الفترة....

ولكن المال ليس ما يشتري الناس الجوهر وهنا كانت البداية بالألعاب الأسطورية ومنها Twisted Metal التي صدرت 1995

وكانت قمة في البساطة من حيث الفكرة ولكن كانت روعة من حيث اللعب والأداء والتسلية قلة من لعبها وانا من هؤلاء القلة الذين استمتعوا فيها

الإيجابيات:

-مراحل واسعة وجميلة

-العديد من السيارات والقصص المختلفة

-تنوع الأسلحة

-سهولة التحكم

السلبيات:

-اللعبة لم تحتوي على عروض للنهاية بذلك الجودة

-شفرات المراحل نفسها للسيارات أي أن الشفرة تختص بالمرحلة ولا تختص بمستوى اللعب أو السيارة

-بعض الأسلحة الخاصة بالسيارات مكررة

-ليس هناك سياق عام للقصة سوى بطولة وسيارات تتقاتل وهذا بقي في جميع الأجزاء عدا Twisted Metal Black

هذا الجزء يعتبر المترجم لنجاح الأول...وحتى من لم يحبوا الأول أحبوا هذا الجزء وقد صدر عام 1996 بعد عام فقط من الأول...وامتاز بتحسينات عدة من ناحية اللعب والتحكم والمراحل...وأعطي تقديرات عالية جدا في المواقع والمجلات....قصة اللعبة بعد الدمار الذي شمل L.A من جراء البطولات الاحدى عشر السابقة....وجب عليه البحث عن بيئة جديدة للبطولة...

وكانت المرحلة الأولى هي تدمير ما تبقى في L.A ومن ثم الانتقال حول العالم....

من أبرز المراحل كانت Paris و Amazonia و Antractica وفيها التفاعل مع الخلفيات رائع جدا وهذا ما لم يكن في الأول في بامكانك تفجير المعالم ورؤية ذوبان وانهيار الجليد والخ... مما يجعلك تشعر أن اللعبة وصلت للقمة والذروة وإحالة أن تطيح بها اية لعبة أخرى....

وكما في الجزء الأول تعاب بعد وجود سياق للقصة ولكن تميزت بإضافة عروض رسومية لكل سيارة بعد أن تنهيها....

الايجابيات:

-ثمان مراحل متنوعة ومختلفة وبها العديد من الخبايا والأسرار

-العديد من السيارات والتي تختلف فيما بينها في العديد من النقاط

-وجود الكثير من الأسرار والخفايا مثل المراحل السرية والسيارات

-المزيد من الأسلحة وإضافة الحركات الخاصة وتنوع الأسلحة الخاصة من سيارة إلى أخرى

-كما في الجزء الأول بامكانك قتل المدنين كما تشاء ومن غير حساب ورؤية الدم وهو يتطاير يشعرك بالسعادة

السلبيات:

-عدم وجود سياق عام للقصة

-سهولة اللعبة حتى للمبتدئين

قلة منا من يعرف سر التحول الذي طرأ على تويستيد ميتل وما هو سر رداءة الثالث ومن بعده الرابع....

السر بكل بساطة انتقال صلاحية انتاج اللعبة من Single Trac إلى 989 Studios بينما ما زالت حقوق الأسماء والملكية لـSony ةفي نظر الكثير هذه كانت أغبى خطوة قامت بها Sony فبعد أن أسست 989 قررت تحويل الكثير من الألعاب التي كانت تبرمج من قبل استديوهات عدة إلى الاستيديو الخاص بها...

لذا سأتكلم عن رائعة لن تتكرر التابع الروحي لـTwisted Metal 2 والذي صدر قبل Twisted Metal III
بعد أن فقدت Single trac الحق في Twisted Metal وانتهت في يد 989 Studios

Rouge Trip

وفي ذلك الخطم من القيل والقال ظهرت Rouge Trip من Single Trac ولكن ليس مع Sony هذه المرة ولكن مع GT interactive وكان رائعة قل مثيلها وفي رأيي أنه أفضل من جميع أجزاء Twisted Metal على PSX بما فيها Twisted Small Brawl ولكن كان يعاب في عدم وجود قصص للسيارات بعد أن تنهيها وأيضا كان يعاب بأنه لا يصل لجنون وإجرام Twisted Metal ولكن كان رائعة لن تتكرر أبدا....

الايجابيات:

- امتازت بنظام لعب جديد كليا

- شكل الأسلحة رائع

- المراحل رائعة التصميم وجميلة

- تطوير الأسلحة واعادة الطاقة باستخدام المال فكرتها رائعة

- موسيقى وأغاني رائعة جدا

السلبيات:

- ليست Twisted Metal

- عروض النهاية لا تروي شيئا عن قصة السيارة

- من بدايتها تشعر أن لن يكون لها جزء آخر وهذا ما حدث للأسف

آلآن وصلنا إلى الجزء الذي عقد الكل من Twisted Metal وما زال البعض يكرهه إلى الآن بسبب هذا الجزء ولم يلعبوا جزءا بعده....

الجزء الثالث

عندما صدر هذا الجزء عام 1998 لاحظ الناس تغيرات واضحة أولها ظهور 989 Studios عند بدأ تشغيل اللعبة ومن ثم العرض السينمائي الممتاز والذي لم يرى مثيل له في الأجزاء السابقة وسيثير فيك الحماس للعب اللعبة ثانيا محرك اللعب الجديد الذي جعل اللعبة تبدو كارتونية طفولية أكثر منها دموية وأيضا اختفاء الناس من اللعبة فلن تجد من تتسلى بقتله...

الايجابيات:

- تقريبا لا شيئ قد تحاول أن تجد شيئ تمدح به اللعبة وإن حاولت فستمدحها بسبب الموسيقى والأغاني الرائعة لفرقة Rob Zombie التي وللأسف ألبوماتها لا تباع في السعودية حتى في Mega Star لم أجدها...

- هناك ايجابية بسيطة وهو تضخيم سلاح الـ Ricochet ورمي الكثير منه في المرحلة الثانية حتى تمتلئ تماما وملاحظة كيف تقفز السيارات كالمجنونة عندما يصيبها السلاح....

السلبيات:

- تقريبا كل شيئ من نظام التحكم الفاشل إلى السلحة الردئية والسيارات الغبية....

- مع أن جودة العروض رائعة إلا إنها سخيفة ومملة....

-Finding the Spaceship
In the Hangar 18 level, destroy the bottom blue light in the corner of one of the alcoves to find a teleporter. Use it to transport to an alien museum with a UFO. Once there, destroy the glass.

-Get eight specials
In the Hanger 18 level, destroy all four control panels and enter the warp inside the UFO. Wait on top of the catwalk structure until a UFO begins to fly around. Shoot it down to get eight specials.

-Knocking down Big Ben
Place your car on the ramp facing Big Ben on the London level. Shoot the building with your machine gun to knock it down.

-Tokyo fan of death
Drive your car up to the big fan in the Tokyo level and teeter on the edge. Then, wait for the other characters to chase after you and let them fall into the fan and die. Quickly throw your car in reverse and wreak further destruction.

-Finding radar
Get to the highest level in Tokyo. Jump off the ramp, then jump off the next ram.

-Sphinx surprise
Fire at the Sphinx face in the Egypt level for a special surprise.

-Finding Eve
Go to the top of the pyramid in the Egypt level.

-Blimp bonuses
After falling to the bottom level of the blimp, destroy the boxes that are stacked on the ground. Hidden weapons and health icons are hidden inside.

-Calypso's Blimp
All of the walls that are marked "THIS SECTION IS CLOSED" on the lower level of the blimp can be destroyed to open up more of the level. Keep following the hallway to find many power-ups, a full health, a lightning weapon, and a warp point.

-No regenerating cars
Some levels require an objective that will prevent CPU cars from regenerating. In the Blimp and Hangar 18 levels, locate the four switches (red lights with a number above) and destroy them. Note: In the Blimp level, destroy the switches before killing anyone. After the switches are destroyed, return to the top level in the red room area. The last switch may now be destroyed. In the London level, destroy Big Ben to stop car regeneration.

هو أفضل جزء لعبته وخاصة عندماتلعبه مع الشباب

وأنا عجبتني الدبابة (ما اعرف شو أسمها :D ) وأمابلاك الصراحة مالعبته

وأنا أعتقد فشل 3و4 بسبب صدور لعبة درايفر وجراند ثيفت أوتو المدمرتين ;-)

الجزء الخامس من التقرير

نعود معكم إلى عام 1998 وما أصابنا من خيبة وكم من ظل ليله باكيا بسبب تويستد ميتل 3 والبعض قال انتهى تويستد ميتل لن يكون هناك تويستد ميتل بعده....

Twisted Metal 4

ولكن عام 1999 ارتسمت علينا بعض البهجة واحسسنا تحسن هائل طرأ على أداء 989 وتحسن تويستد ميتل 4 كثيرا عن تويستد ميتل 3 وأعتبر رائعا ونجاحا ولكن مازالت تشوبه بعض الشوائب لذا لم يزل أقل من تويستد ميتل 2....

وهو لا يعتبر شيئا أمام الجزء الثاني ولكن يعتبر قفزة بعد كبوة الثالث....

أعجبنا بأفكار جديدة في المراحل وهو كان افضل شيئ وضع وأيضا الأسلحة تحسنت بطريقة هائلة عن الثالث واحتوى على أسلحة جميلة جدا....وأيضا زعيم في نهاية كل مرحلة....

ولكن عيوبه كبيرة للأسف لن أعددها ولكن سأذكر أهمها وهو أن اللعبة ما زلت متخلفة نوعا ما وليست قريبة من تويستد ميتل الأصلية وأيضا بعض التخلف في المراحل مثل الالتصاق بالخلفيات وأيضا المراحل السرية تجدها خالية من الابداع وبعض السيارات السرية تجدها شبيه بالسيارات الأساسية تماما ومع أن عيوبه قليلة إلا أنها كانت كبيرة بعضهم أعتبروه أسوئ من الثالث.....

وسأذكر لكم عيب من عيوب اللعبة ولكنه مضحك وهو أختر سيارة Super Slam ودع خصمك يختار نفس السيارة ثم تقابلوا وجها لوجه وقوموا بتأدية الحركة الخاصة في نفس الوقت وشاهدوا ماذا سيحدث.....

لا تقرأ هذه الفقرة إذا أردت أن تعرف ما ذا سيحدث من نفسك.....

هذا ما سيحدث أنت ستقوم بحمله ثم سيحملك وأنت ستحمله ومن ثم سيحملك وستظلون تحملون بعض حتى ترتفعون في الهواء....قد يكون الشرح غير واضح جربها لتعرف إنها جنون....

من الحركات النافعة لهزيمة سويت توث في المعركة الأخيرة هي:
1- أن تصل إليه كاملا لم تفقد أي فرصة
2- أن تبق ملتصقا به لأن احتمال تنفيذه لسلاح الخاص وانت مجاوره ضعيفة جدا لأن الكثير اشتكوا من قوة سلاحه الخاص ولكن ان بقيت بجواره لن يحتاج لإستخدامه...
3- اذا كنت مستخدما كاليبسو استدرجه لمكان مغلق وقم بتنفيذ الدرع ومن ثم سلاحك الخاص وسيذهب 30% إلى 50% من طاقته....

الايجابيات:

- تحسن اللعبة عن سابقتها باختصار....
- عرض البداية رائع
- موسيقى رائعة وخاصة التي من Rob Zombie والتي مستحيل أن تجدها في السعودية بس لا تاخذ هم هربها
- تصميم السيارات

السلبيات:

- محرك اللعبة يقوم بتصرفات غريبة جدا....
- التحكم ما زال ردئ نوعا ما
- ليس هناك خيارات كثيرة في تصميم السيارات

الجزء السادس من التقرير

OK بعد كل ما مر علينا خلال 6 سنين من Twisted Metal منذ 1995 إلى 2001 وكل ما كان فيه من لحظات فرح وحزن إلا إنه كان بصورة عامة رائع ويحمل مستقبل مشرق....

وتوقعنا إن 989 ستقوم ببرمجة واعتقدنا انها ستبدع فيه.... ولكن اكتشفنا أنه مبرمج من قبل Incog Inc .....

الآن ماهي Incog Inc إنها فريق مكون من بعض أعضاء فريق Single Trac وكما يبدو أن Single Trac إما تشتت أو تغير اسمها....

Twisted Metal Black

ولكن لا يهم ما دام جوهر الجزئين الأولين في Twisted Metal Black موجود....فهناك أفكارا من الأول والثاني و أيضا Rouge trip عدا ملايين الأفكار الجديدة....

ولكن لم سموه Black؟؟؟؟

هل لأنه مظلم؟؟؟

كان بإمكانهم جعله مظلم وتسميته Twisted Metal 5

هل هو جزء خاص للعبة مثل Tekken Tag

أم إنه بداية جديدة للسلسلة؟؟؟؟

من الواضح إنه بداية جديدة للسلسلة....

بداية ستبني اللعبة من جديد.....

ستبني ما تحطم على يد 989....

البعض أعجب بالظلام والدماء والعنف والجديّة وأولهم أنا":"

البعض تعود على لطافة الثاني مع أنه دموي ولكنه لا يقارن بدماء Black...

والبعض لم يحب اللعبة أصلا :غضب: :غضب:

والبعض فقد آمله في اللعبة من بعد الثالث ظنا منه لسخافته أنا الثالث والرابع و Black من نفس مبرمج الأول والثاني....

لذا Twisted Metal ستحتاج للكثير كي تعيد سمعتها التي فقدتها :( :(

سأتكلم عن المراحل والتي هي إبداع لا ينتهي.....

تحس بأنك في الحقيقة المراحل جميلة وخيالية وواقعية من الناحية الفيزيائية...

المراحل واسعة ومتفاعلة مع الأحداث ومتغيرة وفيها ستجد الناس والسيارات تتحرك بصورة طبيعية كما في Driver إلا إنك هنا لن تزعجك الشرطة وستتمكن من دهس جميع الناس كما تشاء.....

السيارات إبداع آخر فتصميمها إجرامي بحت وهو مناسب لطبيعة اللعبة وهي كثيرة نوعا ما ولكن الأهم إنها متنوعة وليست كثيرة ومتشابهة.....

السيارات تنوعت في كل شيئ ولكن على ما يبدو Slam كان ناقصا لأنه رائع ولكن قد يعود في جزء قادم....

الشخصيات لم تصمم بشكل أروع من هذا الجزء فستجدها مختلفة من حيث الشخصية والحالة النفسية وسبب دخوله البطولة....

الشخصيات هي أساس جوهر هذا الجزء وهم سفاحون ومجرمون وأبطال وداعية لمذهب جديد ومستدعية أرواح وغيرها....

القصة كانت عامل ضعيف في الأجزاء السابقة الآن أصبحت عامل قوة وتشعر بنوع من الترابط بين قصص الشخصيات....

القصة الآن تأتيك مقسمة إلى ثلاث فصول كل فصل يروي لك حالة شخصيتك هي تشعرك بالغموض في بدايتها إلى أن تفهمها في النهاية....

اللعبة إذا لم تلعبها فأعلم إنك لم تلعب شيئا يقدر بثمن....

اللعبة في منتهى الجمال والكمال لله....

الإيجابيات:

- القصة الرائعة

- الموسيقى الهادئة المرعبة

- دماء ودماء ودماء ماذا تريد أكثر من هذا

- أسلوب تحكم رائع

- محرك اللعبة متقن وواقعي جدا

- مراحل لن ترى مثيلا لها

- السيارات والشخصيات

- اللعبة جدية وهي للـ 18+

- العديد من الأطوار والخفايا من أجل ساعات من التسلية

السلبيات:

- لم أجد شيئ سلبي فيها بالنسبة لي ولكن بالنسبة للغير الظلام والكآبة والصعوبة والجدية مع إني أراها إيجابيات...

Play as Yellow Jacket
At the Junkyard level, shoot down the airplane that circles around the level. The easiest way to shoot down the plane is with a homing or fire missle while no enemy is around you. The plane will catch on fire, circle, and crash into a wall in the lowest area of the level, that leads to an underground tunnel. The suspended crate's opening faces this area. Follow the tunnel under the sewers, collect the weapons and health, and continue until you see a control panel attached to a large column in the middle of a circular room. Shoot the control panel and a message stating Yellow Jacket has been unlocked will appear. Yellow Jacket will appear inside the destroyed column.


Play as Warthog
At the Suburbs level, go to the entrance to the carnival. Turn left and jump off a hill to land on top of a building with a structure on top of it. Blow up the structure to reveal a hole in the building. Fall through the hole and destroy the panel. A message stating Warthog has been unlocked will appear


Play as Axel
At the Freeway level, go toward the center of the level to find a large construction site with two big cranes. The one on the right is holding a pipe, the one on the left is holding a crate. Use the ridge between the cranes and the road and aim yourself at the control box of the left crane (at the center box). You only need to hit it once with some kind of missile. The crate will then lower into the construction yard. Shoot it to unlock Axel.


Play as ManSlaughter
At the Prison Passage level, exit the ship once it docks on land, go to the right (left if facing the ship). Follow the waterline until you reach some crates with a health pick-up. Shoot the crates until a ramp is formed. Go up the ramp and turn toward the side of the ship. Shoot the side of the ship until a opening appears. Enter the opening to find and unlock ManSlaughter.


Play as Minion
Successfully complete story mode with all regular and hidden characters to unlock Minion.


Warhawk's Rooftop level in multi-player mode
At the Junkyard level, shoot down the green Pizza Boy statue (near the Old Warplane and crane). His pizza box will fall near the vertical crusher and form a ramp. Go to the ramp and line yourself up to the crusher. When the crusher falls, use the ramp. When on top of the crusher, there will be a building you can drive through to get some weapons. Off the side of that will be a rotating black cube. Jump off to the black cube to unlock Warhawk's Rooftop level in multi-player mode.

Prison Passage level in multi-player mode
At the Suburbs level, go toward the downtown area, drive across the gaps, and stop on the second rooftop. Then, slowly turn toward the ocean and look for a power missle on top of the narrow roof nearby. Back-up your vehicle a bit on the current rooftop, and get a good start toward the other narrow rook with the power missle. After you pick-up the power missle, shoot the vent on top of the building to obtain a black cube that will unlock the Prison Passage level in multi-player mode.


Minion's Stadium level in multi-player mode
At the Downtown level, locate the set of buildings connected at the second story on one side of the river/bayou. You can find it easily when you drive between them, since there is a big section of wall that is very visible that you can shoot out to get to the elevators. There is one on each building. When facing the buildings from the river, take the left-hand elevator up. Then, circle around to the back of the building. Along the way you will notice that the ground changes color. About one car length to the left of that line is where you want to creep to the edge and barely fall off. You should hit the cube while falling. If not, you should be on a different level off of the ground -- jump (press L1 + R1) to get the cube. It can be seen from the ground floor once you know where to look.

Elevators level in multi-player mode
At the Highway Loop level, go to the bridge with the gap in it. Go to the side opposite the long tunnel. Facing away from the bridge and to the left on the other side of the wall, you can see two round towers at what seems to be a powerplant. Hit the one closest to the bridge with a gas can. It will fall off and start rolling toward the bridge. Make sure you and no other enemies are in its path or it will break. It will slowly jump the bridge and will make a hole just inside the tunnel. You will find a black cube inside that will unlock the Elevators level in multi-player mode.

Power Plant level in multi-player mode
At the Snowy Roads level, go just beyond the barriers toward the cliff in the area with the restaurant, on the southern side of the level (to your right if you're facing toward the road in front of the restaurant). Carefully follow the edge of the level to find a black cube that will unlock the Power Plant level in multi-player mode.

Sewer level in multi-player mode
At the Skyscrapers level, go to the bottom of the crashed plane and to the left (if you were exiting the plane) is a small billboard. Shoot down the billboard and it will form a bridge between the gap of the two buildings. Place yourself in the center of the board and aim yourself toward the inner part of the hole. Depending on your vehicle, you will have to drive off at a different speed to get the black cube. Note: You will have to lose a life to get this black cube.

Skyscrapers level in multi-player mode
At Warhawk's Rooftop level, look for where the tankers are coming from on the Rooftop. Then, align your vehicle perpendicular to the building that has hangars that the tankers come out of on top. Drive full speed straight off the edge toward the tanker building to find a black cube that will unlock the Skyscrapers level in multi-player mode. This may take multiple attempts.

Reversed special
While playing as The Preacher, John Doe, Mr. Grimm, Dollface, Bloody Mary, Raven, or Black, highlight the special weapon icon, then quickly press Up, Left, Right, Down, L2.

No Face's secret special attacks
While playing as No Face, highlight the special weapon icon, then quickly press Up(3) to make his front end light up with electricity. This also works by substituting Left(3), Right(3), or Down(3) for the corresponding side. While playing as No Face, highlight the special weapon icon, then quickly press Down(3), Up(3) to have a purple shield appear instead of a silver one. To fire the purple shock you must be close to someone, and then press L2.

Raven's secret special attack
While playing as Raven, highlight the special weapon icon, then quickly press Up(3) to have Raven pop out the top of the car and attack the nearest opponent with a machine gun.

Axel's secret special attack
While playing as Axel, highlight the special weapon icon, then quickly press Up(3).

Minion's secret special attack
While playing as Minion, highlight the special weapon icon, then quickly press Up(3).

Special attacks

Jump: Press L1 + R1.
Freeze attack: Press Up, Down, Up.
Land mine: Press Right, Left, Down.
Charged land mine: Press Right, Left, then hold Down.
Invisibility: Press Left(2), Down(2).
Shield: Press Right(2), Down(2).
Rear fire: Press Left, Right, Down + Fire Weapon.


Extra health
After destroying an enemy car, run over the flaming driver for a little boost of health.

Defeating Warhawk
Shoot the tankers while they are on the helipad. Wait for Warhawk to hover over the helipad and explode the tankers. Warhawk's shields will take damage. After doing that about four times, Warhawk's shields will be destroyed and the Tankers will stop appearing. Remember to restore your health often on the level, and hide when you need to. Also try using the "Satellite" weapon for major damage.

Electrocute men in Prison Passage level
On the Prison Passage level, you can run over a box marked "Danger High Voltage" and watch the three men who are sitting in chairs get electrocuted. They are near the front of the ship on a platform. The box is right in front of them.

Translated Minion codes
At the load screen for each level while playing as Minion, there are a bunch of numbers instead of words like with the other characters. These numbers can be translated into words. The formula used is 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, etc. Here are is what you get when you translate the numbers:

1. I do not think this is real.
2. I must speak in code or he will discover me.
3. We are trapped in his head.
4. This is how he sees the world, how Sweet Tooth sees his life, it is not real.
5. All of us are trapped in his head.
6. I miss the old colorful world.
7. We will return to old world one day.
8. In the real world my name is Marcus Kane.

المهم فجر اللوحة وراح تصنع لك جسر

وانظر حواليك ستجد المكعب الأسود....

كل ما عليك أن تقفز نحوه

Twisted Metal Small Brawl

اللعبة كان ممكن أن تكون أفضل....اللعبة في مجملها رائعة ولكنها سهلة نوعا ما عدا رئيس المرحلة الرابعة ولكن إذا عرفت طريقته ستراه سهل جدا...

كيف تهزم Trapper في نظري هو أصعب من الزعيم الآخير:

بكل بساطة تعتمد على الـPower قبل قتالك للزعيم قم بقتل جميع السيارات عدا واحدة... ثم قم بجمع الـPower حوالي 12 أو أكثر...

ومن فترة لفترة أذهب عند البركان و لا تنسى تأخذ سلاح المرحلة هو على شكل ريموت طبعا اتجه ليسار البركان عندما يأتي استخدم السلاح وسيخرج من البركان حمم متطايرة تكفي لشغله عنك....

وأيضا استخدم القنابل الموقوتة تنفع معه كثيرا... ولا تنسى جمع مزودات الطاقة من وقت لآخر... ولا تعتمد على الخريطة لمعرفة إن عادت أم لا أذهب إليها بنفسك...

أهتممت بشرح هزيمة Trapper لأن هو أصعب ما ستواجه....

اللعبة أحتوت على أفكار رائعة وجملية...من لم يلعب بلاك سيراها رائعة...ولكن من لعب بلاك سيراها عادية ومتواضعة... اللعبة لا تحتوي على عنف ودماء مثل بلاك لأنها موجه لمن هم دون 18...

ظهرت في اللعبة أفكار ولا حتى في بلاك... أهمها عودة Slam ابن أحد أفضل شخصيات الجزء الثاني.... وأيضا السيارات هنا رائعة وتذكرك بالجزء الثاني أكثر من Twisted Metal Black وايضا سلاح الـ Naplam عاد .... ففي بلاك استبدلوه بـبرميل غاز له مزايا أكثر ولكن يبقى النابلام هو المحبب لمحبي تويستيد ميتل... وايضا عودة Crimson Fury ابن أحد شخصيات الأول...وأيضا Hammer Head...
وايضا وجد سلاح رائع في اللعبة وهو Roman Candles...
اللعبة مسلية ومحبي تويستيد ميتل أعجبوا بها ( ليس كلهم ) ولكنها مع جميع ما وضع فيها لا تقارن بـ Twisted Metal Black...
بالنسبة للمراحل ستدجها مليئة بالفخاخ...ستجد مرحلة Meat your Maker وكأنها وجدت لإنهائك... - ستعتاد عليها مع الوقت-.

إذا تغاضينا عن جميع مساوئ اللعبة نرى أن لا بأس بها كآخر جزء للعبة على PSX... ولكن من المفترض أن يكون أفضل...

في النهاية أمر شراءاها يعود عليك ولكن لن تندم كثيرا إذا شريتها...
وقد تعتاد عليها وتراها رائعة...

الإيجابيات:

-عودة بعض الشخصيات الشهيرة مثل Twister و Slam و Crimson Fury
- استغلال رائع لقدرات الـPSX
-العديد من الأسرار والخفايا - أقل من بلاك طبعا-

السلبيات:

-تشعر بانها موجه للأطفال وهي كذلك
-اللعبة سهلة جدا وستملها قبل أن تنهيها على عكس Black
-لن تنال إعجاب من لعبوا Black

الأسرار:

Play as Axel
In the Playground Peril level in tournament mode, shoot a missile at the middle swing on the swing set that is in the background next to the merry-go-round. A small statue of Axel will be thrown into the playing area. Pick that up to unlock Axel.

Play as Darkside
In the Kitchen level, go to the sink and drive down the plumber's butt. Go onto his leg and napalm his butt. He will blow a hole in the wall. Enter the hole to unlock Darkside.

Play as Mime
In the Holiday Havoc level in endurance mode, shoot missiles at the Christmas tree until it is destroyed. Get on top of the fireplace then jump off backwards and shoot a missile at the stockings. Destroy all four to reveal the icon that unlocks Mime.

Play as Trapper
Successfully complete the game with Mime to unlock Trapper as a playable character.

Shock Therapy level
Kill 10 guys in endurance mode to unlock the Shock Therapy level.

Buster's Lanes level
Kill 20 guys in endurance mode to unlock the Buster's Lanes level.

Holiday Havoc level
Kill 30 guys in endurance mode to unlock the Holiday Havoc level.

Special attacks

Freeze: Press Up, Down, Up.
Shield: Press Right(2), Down(2).
Rear Fire: Press Left, Right, Down, L2.
Drop Mine: Press Right, Left, Down.
Jump: Press L1 + R1.
