Intro:-

Asalamu 3laikum my brothers & sisters how are you? I hope you’re doing fine & have enjoyed the vacation that has passed…I’m back from my vacation & as promised I now give you my review of Interstella 5555 I hope you enjoy it. This movie is the result of a collaboration between manga artist Leiji Matsumoto & French house music duo Daft Punk ( Thomas Bangalter & Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo ), the first of its kind, never before have Japanese animation & music been mixed together in such a way. In the end, it turns out to be one of the most fascinating things ever produced, an animated musical

Story:-

A musical band from an alien planet is kidnapped by a mysterious figure later known as Earl de Darkwood in an attempt to make them the best musical band on earth. Meanwhile, a distress signal is sent to Shep, a commander who pilots a guitar-shaped spacecraft & a diehard fan of the band, who immediately rushes to the rescue. Will Shep ever rescue the band? Will de Darkwood’s plan succeed? Only time will tell

Sound:-

The sound is the core of the movie, not a single word of dialogue is spoken in it. Instead, the whole thing is driven by music. Each scene is represented by a track from Daft Punk’s second album titled “Discovery” which fits the action in the scene perfectly & puts you in the mood. Not one track is out of balance with its scene, this is due to the fact that the album & movie were conceived simultaneously

Artwork:-

Another important aspect is the artwork, which is absolutely amazing. The movie is filled with gorgeous scenery & top-notch animation. The influence of the 70’s & 80’s era show on the character designs, which include afros, white tuxedos & sleeve-ripped shirts. Another thing that shows is Matsumoto’s artistic style, some of the characters resemble characters from his previous works such as Battleship Yamato, Captain Herlock & Galaxy Express 999

Closing Comments:-

In the end, I’d first like to thank you my friends for taking the time to read my first ever review which I hope u enjoyed reading. & lastly, I’d like to say my opinion on the movie. Personally, I loved every second of it. I’ve been a Daft Punk fan ever since Discovery was released back in 2001 so you could imagine how I felt when I heard that they’d make the whole album an animated movie & not just the singles. If you’re a fan of Daft Punk or Leiji Matsumoto I strongly recommend seeing Interstella, even for those who are not fans but are familiar with Daft Punk & enjoy dance music. However, if you don’t like dance/house/techno music, I suggest you proceed with caution or don’t bother seeing it altogether

well first of all the movie is bout an hour long.....it starts with "One More Time" & ends with "Too Long" exactly like the album except its in a movie

Digital Love was the 3rd single out of the album, the 4th & last single was" Harder,Better,Faster,Stronger"

If u liked the singles buy the album "Discovery" its very very good

basicly the movie is the album but in a visual state it continues the story after the 4th video

if youre intrested buy the DVD from a Virgin Megastore i found mine in dubai

ولله صعب تشرح بس كان تذكر قبل كم سنة كانو في رمضان العصر يحطو لك زي البرامج طوال الوقت اغاني ووحده تقعد ترقص و تسوي حركات غبية

ترى الرسوم و تصميم الشخصيات من Matsumoto لكن الفكرة الأصلية من Daft Punk نفسهم ههههههه معليش أن لونهم أزرق لكن شوفي الفيلم و صدقيني احتمال أن رأيك عن التصاميم راح يتغير....ما أقدر أكمل كلامي لأنه راح أفضح القصة....نصيحتي هي إذا الـAnime صار ودك تشوفيه أنا أنصح أنك تشوفه و خير إنشالله يعجبك

First of all, Thanks a million for your report ^_^ When I first saw the pix I thought "Oh My God! These are the Blue creatures that I saw on MTV XD
So they have a movie huh ...... do you recommend it?! can you rate it for us if you dont mind?!
