Windows Media Player help wanted

I want an expert help on how to watch (Ogg Media File). every time I try to play a video I get this message that says Windows Media Player has encounterd a problem and it needs to close. thats not all. even when I try to watch trailer or music videos in websites like Yahoomusic.com, gametrailers.com, and soo, I always get the same message and the website window closes.
