~ الترجمة الإنجليزية لبعض المصطلحات الإسلامية ~

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته..

There are many Islamic Expressions that we use everyday, even if we do not recognize it
And as Muslims, I think each and everyone of us must know the English equivalent of them

So here are some of these expressions

1- السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته May Allah's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you

2- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيمIn the name of Allah most Compassionate most Merciful

3- أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله و أشهد أن محمد رسول الله I testify that there is no God but Allah and that Mohammad is His Messenger

4- الحمد لله Praises be to Allah

5- سبحان الله Glory be to Allah

6- الله أكبرAllah is Greatest

7- إن شاء الله If Allah wills

8- أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم I seek Allah's protection from the rejected satan

9- لا حول ولا قوة إلا باللهThere is no power nor might save in Allah

10- استغفر اللهI ask Allah for forgiveness

terms shall be purpseful....I mean have we asked our selves
if we can serve our Relegion Islam in this field......

2- sharing in Islamic forum in English
3- Browsing Dawah Websites

شوف بالنسبة للمصطلحات هيا ممكن تترجم بأكثر من طريقه
زي مثلا إن شاء الله ممكن تكون
If Allah wills
أو زي ما قالت مكاويه و برضو زي ما انذر ون يقول
Allah willing
و بالنسبه للتشهد.. أنا أعرف انهم يستخدمو
I testify أو I witness
لكن I bear witness ما أعرف إذا كانت صحيحه ولا لأ.. أنا عن نفسي ما قيد شفتها بالأحاديث ولا بالآيات.. بس ما يمنع انها تكون صحيحه لأنه زي ما قلتلك ممكن يكون في أكثر من ترجمه.. فالله أعلم

So they'd be easy for you to know by heart
Coz I noticed when someone posts a thread containing a huge number of words it's hard for me to learn them all, even when I really want to

11- الوضوء Ablution
12- التيمم Dry ablution
13- الغسل Ritual bath
14- الدعاء Supplication OR Invocation
15- الأذان Call for prayer
16- صلاة التطوع Voluntary prayer OR Optional prayer
17- سنة مؤكدة Stressed Sunna --- سنة غير موكدة Unstressed Sunna
18- مكروهات الصلاة Disliked actions in prayer
19- مبطلات الصلاة Actions that violate prayer
20- الطهارة Purity OR Purification على حسب النص
21- فرض - واجب Obligatory act
22- السترة (اللي تحطها قدامك لما تصلي عشان لو أحد مر من قدامك) Partition OR Barrier
23- صلاة الكسوف Solar eclipse prayer
24- صلاة الخسوف Lunar eclipse prayer
25- الحرمين- المكي و المدني The sanctuaries- of Makkah and Al-Madinah
