Expat opinion

Friends of mine, please advises which version of linux is the best for dell server machine?
Can that server control and run and storage the data for all our PC (65 units) they work using XP?

lol, download and install Ubuntu Server Edition
or try CentOS 5

I have downloaded the Ubuntu 7.04 I believe I make mistake during the installation so it has been installed in the same portion where is the windows, because during the installation when I select the manual installation it shown me some options which I dint understand so I get back to automatic option any way no problems when ever I will got some time I will remove both windows and Ubuntu will install them back, but what I notice that the Ubunto is very slow not fast as I was expecting, I have 512 ram and 40 GB HD !!!
